Good laptop for the money

Lenovo Laptop G560 (0679-ALU) Intel Pentium P6200 (2.13 GHz) 4 GB Memory 320 GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Pros: Great price! Bought while on sale for $399 with free shipping. 4GB of RAM! Nice screen.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Replaced Win 7 home with Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit. Everything works if you select the "download 3rd party drivers" while installing (downloads wireless card drivers). If it goes on sale for $399 again, it's too good a deal to pass up.

Doesn't charge my 5th gen ipod

New 8 Pin to USB Charger Cable for iPod touch® 5th iPhone® 5 iPod nano® 7th Gen Apple® Accessories.
New 8 Pin to USB Charger Cable for iPod touch® 5th iPhone® 5 iPod nano® 7th Gen Apple® Accessories.

Pros: Allows syncing of ipod properly.

Cons: When I plug this into my iPod I get the message "Charging is not supported with this accessory." The Apple manufactured iPod cable works fine, only this 3rd party one does not seem to function properly.

Overall Review: Not sure if this is a defective cable, or the product does not function as described. I am requesting an RMA.

Recertified Eee PC 1005HAB

ASUS Eee PC 1005HAB-RBLU005S Midnight Blue Intel Atom N270(1.60 GHz) 10.1" 1GB DDR2 Memory 160GB HDD Netbook
ASUS Eee PC 1005HAB-RBLU005S Midnight Blue Intel Atom N270(1.60 GHz) 10.1" 1GB DDR2 Memory 160GB HDD Netbook

Pros: Nice little computer for the buck. Installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix as soon as I opened the box, and everything worked perfectly. Runs pretty well, and can handle all kinds of basic browsing, watching youtube videos, etc. Screen is a decent size, and I like the keyboard better than most netbooks I've tried. Overall, for $200 + shipping, it's a good computer for its intended purpose.

Cons: If you're looking for a desktop replacement, obviously look elsewhere. This computer isn't a great multitasker, and I would strongly consider getting a 2GB SoDimm to double the memory.
