NO DVI!!! No matter..

SAMSUNG 23.6" TN LCD Monitor 2ms GTG D-Sub, HDMI B350 Series S24B350HL
SAMSUNG 23.6" TN LCD Monitor 2ms GTG D-Sub, HDMI B350 Series S24B350HL

Pros: Pretty much everything but the lack of DVI connection. Great brightness Great color Great black levels Quick response time Everything you can ask for in a monitor Newegg excellence as usual. Literally THE best place to buy electronics and computer gear. GREAT customer service, check. FAST shipping, check. 3day -> 1 day in socal INFORMATIVE, check. No where better to learn what to buy and what not to buy CHEAP, check. You will struggle to find a better price elsewhere. If you do, wouldn't you rather support newegg and it's huge community base as well as have the peace of mind that you will get from their great customer service?

Cons: No DVI connection, with converters (or hdmi output from your video card) this is a non issue. Soon ill be upgrading to a mini display port video card so this is no real reason to drop an egg.

Overall Review: I never write reviews but after all the time and research put into this buy I figured I would do my part to help the community. No DVI connection, luckily for me I had extra HDMI cables lying around. Although, needed adapters ($5 each) for the dual monitor setup on my 4850. Literally plug-n-play otherwise. I am coming from a 32" 720p TV with 60hz refresh. Day and night difference for my gaming and having two screens is amazing for gaming and surfing Literally no complaints. If i wanted to nitpick i could say the touch sensitive buttons are a little strange i prefer physical buttons and sure it could have a nice stand that is fully adjustable but that is really unnecessary for me and probably most buyers. Buy this monitor, you will not be disappointed. I promise! ;)

NOT the same keyboard

Cyborg V.5 Keyboard
Cyborg V.5 Keyboard

Pros: Same design as the seitek cyborg and appears to be nearly identical.

Cons: The surface of the keys are different, the old keyboard had a slight texture to the keys. Also, the feel of the keys when depressed is not the same. More click to the old board. This is my 3rd generation of this keyboard. I am not sold on MADCATZ version yet.

Overall Review: More to come, I will fill in more as I find out how it preforms after some more heavy use.

Pleasently Surprized

Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Multimedia Speaker System with BasXPort Technology, Black
Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Multimedia Speaker System with BasXPort Technology, Black

Pros: Build quality is better than average, these are very nice looking elegant 2.0 speakers. Easy setup, controls, and ...well... sound.

Cons: NO SUB! (read comments below) Sharp highs out the box. (read below)

Overall Review: I won't lie, price/looks of these speakers got me. But these are actually really nice little speakers. I have a audiophile for a father and he passed me the bug. You haven't heard music until you have heard it through $200k+ speakers... Unbelievable. But us mortals should aim for the best sound for the space and get as much bang for the buck as possible. For computer speakers, think of these as a miniature set of floor standing towers. Set them equal distances from your ears and be prepared to experience a very nice sound stage. No sub - If you are looking for a big bass, get a nice 2.1 set. The lack of a sub will not be enough for being a house party DJ with itunes. With that said, 2.0 for computer speakers is sufficient and best of all saves on wire clutter and space in a already cramped space. :) Sharp highs - These speakers have a "break-in period". I hear as long as 100 hours, but I can say that within minutes the highs naturally started to smooth out a bit. Also, the treble/bass controls can easily be used to compensate for this. Each space is different and require unique tuning. My room has a very bright/reflective personality, this may have some to do with the sharpness in the sound. Using MJ - Bad to break them in. There are plenty of points that hit the highs/bass that will help in tuning. Try to listen through for specific points in your track list that hit those real sharp highs or dull lows and replay through them with different settings till your happy. Be careful with that bass switch though, these are musical speakers. :) Bottom line: Great set of DESKTOP speakers. More than enough quality for 99% of users. The bass is plenty for anyone not looking for a rumble. Oh yeah, "Once you know, you Newegg." Thanks again for yet another wonderful shopping experience Newegg!

Tally is a magician!!!

GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Works Great when memory is stable! Setup: MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz Memory: Crucial Ballistix 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit

Cons: Had to use a lot of manual memory settings to get it working. While installing windows kept blue screening on memory errors until I changed the memory settings in BIOS per Tally's review below.

Overall Review: And I Quote Tally below: "stability can be achieved with the following bios adjustments: (first set optimized defaults) --MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)-- PCI express Frequency (mhz): 100 --DRAM Performance control Performance enhance: Standard System memory multiplier: 4.00B Dram timing selectable: Manual --Advanced Timing control tRRD: 4 tWTR: 8 tWR: 14 tRFC: 82 tRPT: 5 Command Rate: 2 --Channel A & B Static tRead Value: 10 --MCH MCH Core: 1.24 (Try 1.05 if this does not work for you) "

Great PSU

Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430W ATX 12V 2.2 Power Supply
Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430W ATX 12V 2.2 Power Supply

Pros: Great PSU. Well put together and looks great. No power issues at all with the system. This is the way all PSUs should run. Also, great price!

Cons: Only thing I would have liked is the removable cables so you dont have extras hanging freely in the case, but this option is usually reserved for more expensive PSUs. I cant hold this against it though for the price this is a quality piece.

Overall Review: Thermaltake has never let me down. I use them in all my machines from the low end to the high end. I prefer quality and looks and thermaltake fits the bill. As always newegg is wonderful to work with.

Cheap Setup Works flawlessly

ASUS M2N-MX AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M2N-MX AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Ran this rig with a cheap setup I made for a friend, 2 gig corsair twin c4 ram, AMD 5200+, and thermaltake PSU. Everything went together great and works flawlessly. This machine performed so well I might start looking into budget machines for myself next go around.

Cons: No cons. Everything fit great and worked well

Overall Review: Drivers for both XP and Vista were supplied. I opted to run XP and wait on the vista upgrade for SP1. It's nice to know the drivers are available for when I take the jump. Can't miss with this board. As always can't miss with newegg!
