Pros: A perfect drive for a PS3 upgrade. A nice, quiet, fast drive for a good price. The 5400 RPM drive is what you want for a PS3 upgrade, anything faster will run too hot. The upgrade from start to finsh will take less than 5 minutes. The PS3 will recognize and ask to format the drive the 1st time you power it back up. The nice part, all of your settings are preserved, and if you have purchased any games from the Playstation Store, you can re-download them for free in account management. The BEST part, you can re-download demos you have previously downloaded - even though they aren't available any more in the PS Store! Convenient and nice!

Pros: None for the Samsung 2.0 USB DVD driver I received - the one mis-represented as a USB 3.0 drive! Although I think the Newegg box is pretty swell.

Cons: This drive is not USB 3.0. It comes with the standard mini-B USB 2.0 port and cable. Sure it will work if you plug it into a USB 3.0 port, but so will every other USB 2.0 device - as the 3.0 ports are backwards compatible. Save your money and buy the USB 2.0 model - because that is all this thing is! If it was USB 3.0, it would have come with the required USB 3.0 9-pin cable and subsequent port. It doesn't! Also the Samsung box was crushed HARD inside! Although the outside shipping box was flawless. That means some HUMAN put this very noticeably damaged product into a box to ship to a customer. Shame on you Newegg. I thought you were better than that.

Overall Review: Why this is advertised and sold at a higher price that the USB 2.0 Samsung drive is beyond me. USB 3.0 requires the special 9-pin cable. This is plain deception and very poor advertising standards.

Pros: Very durable shipping boxes! I was convinced these things were destroyed when I saw the boxes UPS left, but inside, the speakers were in perfect condition! Well done with your packaging Klipsch! I will give them a listen tonight. I am sure they will rock, like the rest of their product line. My first impression - they are much larger than I thought they were! This is a good thing! Impressive looking!
