Lightning Fast
Pros: --Fassssst!
Cons: --Bought the "No hardware included" version, and so needed to buy hardware to install it on my new rig. It would've been helpful if they'd made that difference clear pre-purchase.
Overall Review: This is my second Samsung SSD, and it's possibly even faster than the 1TB Samsung SSD I bought around 6 years ago; as I'm comparing it with the same 1TB Seagate 6k rpm HDD I use mainly for storage and backup.
ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+
Pros: Don't know, unfortunately. Dead out of the box.
Cons: Defective out of the box. RMA'd Specifically, cpu fan operational; but all other power switches dead.
Overall Review: Disappointed. Bought it as a replacement for an older ASRock 970 Extreme4 that got wiggy (loss of mouse and keyboard function) after 18months or so of use, when the USB hub gave out. Conclusion: next time invest in a better quality MOBO
Perfect for low-visibility living room setting.
Pros: --Small size; only 2 power outlets, 2 USB's --White color; blends well with carpet. Black wouldn't've been good.
Cons: --Small Size; only 2 power outlets, 2 USB's
Overall Review: We got this instead of the normal 4-8 outlet power strip to not make too big of a visual impact next to the living room couch, for phones and iPads. Work great so far.
Inexpensive USB Soundbar
Pros: --Low Price --With my SoundblasterX card gives medium-quality sound (as a rough contrast with my high fidelity headphones) --Long, Flat shape perfect for my needs
Cons: --Has mounting lugs on top designed to only work with Dell monitors.
Overall Review: I would've preferred a Bar that needed only a single 3.5mm audio jack...but Who am I kidding?
Really Like it So Far
Pros: --Crisper graphics than the 3 year-old Samsung 24" it replaced--but not by much. --HDMI input. Which is great as my GTX2080S is HDMI only. --Borderless top and sides reduces overall size of screen nicely. --Good for Gaming. I primarily use it as a gaming monitor; Fallout4, Battletech look great. --Good Price for a mid-tier monitor.
Cons: --Only HDMI --No sound outlet --Last year's model (2019; which is probably why price was low).
Overall Review: It was a good buy. The 1ms and 144GHz. really says it all if you want it for gaming. Haven't yet bothered with G-Sync; and don't know if it'd make a difference
I like it
Pros: Just perfect for my needs. The standard length of headphone cords is just too short; this extension cord does the trick.
Overall Review: Good product overall.
Great Couch Mouse Pad
I've been looking for a mousepad suitable for gaming on the couch. Found it! Got the smallest model--8"x10"--which is semi-rigid, with a slightly raised squishy top that results in very fine mouse control for FPS games like Fallout 4, where precision is essential.
Doesn't track too well
Tracks poorly; at least compared with the much cheaper optical mouse I replaced it with, that worked fine atop a mousepad on my futon couch. This $40 Razor needs to be on perfectly 100% flat surface to work properly.
