Pros: intel's newest atom quad core, full version of windows 8.1 with free upgrade to windows 10 later this year. 4gb of ram, though some might see that as bad? it handles everything I throw at it and still has room to go further.
Cons: the micro usb charger? although not bad, it does limit the speed of charge since it's only 13watts with the provided charger, slower if you use a cell phone charger (2.5amps as to 0.5amps)
Overall Review: I got this to replace the surface RT 1st gen, they click type cover from the RT fits and works with this :) the surface 3 being a little wider, the cover dosn't cover the top part, but covers the whole screen so i'm happy. perfect size and weight tablet for on the go and battery life is awesome. I also got the pen for it witch also is awesome, to draw/paint with and write notes on the fly, works great as a mouse aswell if you can't quite hit something with your finger. I will say this little thing is powerfull for it's size, every program including Skype runs great. I recommend getting a decent size MicroSD for it, just so you don't fill the onboard up so fast cause right out of the gate you're down to 92gb free, just a little heads up ;)
Pros: 4 port switch, plug it in and forget it..
Cons: none that i can speak of
Overall Review: this is neat. i picked this up at a local store for 45, for a bluray player that didn't have a wireless connection and this is way better then wireless. they say it has 200Mb/s connection, thats only between each node.
Pros: P1040 refrence board from the TI version. will work with any 560Ti water block. runs BF3 and Skyrim at 720P max settings with only 50% usage. never excedes 60C and fan is super quiet
Cons: a Ti in disguise but can't unlock due to laser echting
Overall Review: Decent card running it with a 520watt PSU and only useing 300 watts max total system with a quad core and 8 gb ram. definitly better to get this over a 550Ti, could only run that at med settings at 720P with 100% usage. i still don't see going to a Ti over this for at most 16% better AF.
Pros: ok, i bought this not thinking much of it. it has a very good sound with out the insane vibration
Cons: 600 watt peak paired with a 600 watt amp, need to be finely tuned to sound good
Overall Review: bought this to replace a stock sub in a scion, the stock one had to much hollow bass to it so i got this one to get a better sound with out running high gauge wire or the need for a new headunit. it hits good sounds like a 800 watt or high sub but with out the physical "feel".
Pros: where do i begin... Ok the build of this set is extreamly well made, the case of each speaker is housed with thick plastic with silicone in the seams to dampen any noises. the connections and the Potentiometers all are made of good quality not the radio shaq quality. wires a nice 18 guage with solder at the ends but with only 12 feet of it for each speaker very good lows and mids.
Cons: well.. highs are not there, need a eq to balance out the highs and the mids "drop the 2k and raise the 4k". the bass is controlled by the rear as well as the front, so it can be a bit annoying to balance the bass just right with the rear. And with only 12 feet of wire for the rear... i needed to extend them
Overall Review: pulling this out of the box, i felt that i got way more then what i paid for. best well built for the price. all the speakers have the ability for Great sound. make sure you have a good EQ for your sound card, other wise this might not be for you. PS all RealTek and Creative and Envy 24T sound cards have great Equalizers
Cons: activision didnt make this game, infinity ward did. activision is only in charge of pricing and other small "stuff".
Overall Review: i have never had a problem with activision games. this game is by far the most annoying game in the call of duty line with all the duble standerds and stuff that other players can get away with but when you try the same thing it never works. i have both PS3 and PC version. I recomend the PS3 they killed it for pc when they switched to steam.
Pros: 112.3 MB/s to 162.0 MB/s read speeds.
19.2 MB/s to 53.8 MB/s write speeds...
yes thats megabytes not bits
Cons: havn't seen the supposed 100MB/s write speeds
Overall Review: this drive has the new JMicron JMF60X. it dosnt stutter like the old ones. i recomend useing these smaller ssd's for basic computing to gaming, nothing that writes alot of data
Pros: better then 7600gt SLI. one 9800gt is able to run Call of Duty World at War at max settings at 1680x1050 with out AA or AF at 100 , with it does about 60 to 70 fps
Cons: none realy,
Overall Review: stays cool, runs fast with an AMD 7750 and 2 GB of ddr1066 ram
Pros: wifi, ultra small compaird to my acer travelmate laptop. this thing flies in the linux os, acer website provieds all drivers for almost all versions of windows
Cons: was difficult to get the wireless to connect to my secure network
Overall Review: this thing just blazes through linux, nut was a little restricting for me so i installed windows xp pro sp2. runes like a champ still keeping a 3 hour battery life.
Crystal clear screen at 1024/600 res. deffintly need to up the ram. warnning may void warrenty if you do it your self.
Pros: blue LEDS on the back side of the motherboard, UgurU, sli, black pcb.
Cons: 2d and very light graphics its slower then my old A64 3500 setup but in heavy to extream graphics use sli takes over.
Overall Review: my bios was fine, took the 925 pentium D with no problem overclocks nicly, but i dont OC to much, stable as all hell and keeps my room warm during the cold nights. antect EARTHWATTS 500watts 7600gt SLI, 2 gb ddr2 800, 925 pentiumD 3.5ghz 250 gb raid 0
Pros: it has very good range on the wireless.... thats about it, oh it can be used as a solid AP if needed
Cons: one of the worst routers i have used. will never keep a stable connection to the internet, the light blinks a few times and then stops it does this every 10 mins or in heavy traffic, like it cant handle the load and idles the connection to calm its self
Overall Review: called up tech support they told me to update the firmware on a beta site they gave me, tried it and the version i had was more recent then it. and then they told me i need to buy a new one because mine was broken and not covered under warrenty. and this isnt the first belkin i owned, i have had 4 other belkins of diffrent models and they all did the same thing in a small diffrent kinda way. so i advise STAY AWAY FROM BELKIN ROUTERS!!!
Pros: they sound realy good for a low wattage system, cant go wrong with them. as some sied, you do need to break them in for like a day after that they sound awsome.
Cons: short rear wires and it cuts off only at 40Hz insted of 20Hz
Overall Review: upgrade or downgraded depending on how you look at it, from my 6.1 600 watt reciver running at 4.0 speaker config these deffinitly compair to the quality of the sound but not the power. combined with a audigy 2 value or an audigy SE makes the perfect value gaming suround sound system.
Pros: none that i can think of
Cons: hmm lets see, new computer parts or a software compable of doing the same thing as paintshop pro...i wonder..this program is a complete waste of money i even tried and didnt find anything diffrent
Overall Review: they expect way to much from this
Pros: wireless g?
Cons: this is the slowest router i have ever owned aside from the other belkin i orginaly had, all belkins i had owned, had continuously droped internet conection and resume conection after sitting for a few minute. router will still continue to function but with out internet.
Overall Review: updating firmware will not work, nor will tech support. every one i know who has any type of belkin router has the same problems or problems of there own that involves conection to the internet... I ADVISE EVERY ONE TO STAY AWAY FROM BELKIN ROUTERS
Pros: this drive isnt that much noticibly faster then my wd1200 hd(120 gb, 2 mb cache IDE) but load times were cut in half in games witch was nice, and instaing windows was VERY fast
Cons: theres a 50/50 chance of getting a bad hd from seagate, mine still in working order but i dont trust it one bit, it makes wired grinding buzing sounds and i have to tap it with my screwdriver to make the taping stop, my gues is the magnetic reader is getting stuck and needed to be freed, gota have the right windows to work with the big harddrives, MCE barely worked with it, only my winxp 64 SP2 and my Winxp SP2 work with it flawlesly. non sp and SP1 would give me data coruption and MCE would freaze constantly and random restarts
Overall Review: all in all its a good drive, just gota know how to work with it. fast, semi relighable, and very picky on OS is installed, my sugestion is use it as a spare or in an external enclosure
Pros: im getting this board
Overall Review: this motherboard is compatible with the Guru Clock and the Guru pannel
Pros: this pannel is compatible with the ABIT AN8 32X motherboard
Overall Review: the guru pannel and guru clock are both compatible with the ABIT AN8 32X motherboard...just for thoseswho are wondering for compatiblity
Pros: this motherboard does infact suport 64bit, and includes 64bit drivers on its website and NVidia has 64 bit drivers on there website that work well with this mother board
Overall Review: i have owned this mother board for 4 months and had no stabilty problems, overheating problems or driver problems. most compatible with any ram and processor i threw at it. newegg is the only place to go for me
DVI and anolag,
you can switch between the too so you can have a second computer running say a server that you dont always need to have an active moniter on it so you just just hook it in and switch when you need to work on it
Cons: there was a dead pixle...but i just gently grazed my figer on it and it went to normal
Overall Review: this thing is so much clearer then the 17 inch pure flat crt i had befor, and way less space used...this is a definit buy
Pros: Screaminly fast while playing fear on max settings and COD2 at max settings (never go below 30FPS with COD2) aye the fan is a little on the loud side but it slows down after system boot up. drivers are as easy as 123.
Cons: what cons? besides the fan there are none
Overall Review: this thing will take the beating that the other older mid ranged cards couldnt handle and man, its fast why overclock it its fine stock
Pros: FAST, faster then my friends 3700+ san diago, playing/ installing games with this beuty is no problem 70%cpu oad while playing COD2 installing it only took 15% the most from the processor
Cons: none only down side but not a con is its 1.8ghz and 9x multi
Overall Review: out performed the lates 478 intels and even some of the newer amd's. have this thing clocked at 2 ghz right now (for the moment to break it in)
Pros: this card is that of the mainstream chipset, it wasnt designed to impliment 3dgraphics on a larg scale but for basic DX9 rendering it has its benifits over the onboards but it has its weakness as multi light sources and some major texure compresion
Cons: *as mentioned aboved*
Overall Review: this card will do you better then an onboard graphics would, i have this running in an FIC AU31 board and the ombard graphics slowed my processor down a bit so this is a good suplament to free up some cpu useage and have some nice desktop fetures such as sharpining and digital vibrance, along with its easy tv output through the S-Vid
Pros: befor sanding...temps reached almost 60 C! with artic silver5, after sanding it down with fine 3500 grip paper...and reaplied artic silver5...my temps wher never better...30C idle and 39C load
Cons: had to sand for about an hour but its WELL worth it
Overall Review: put a highflow 80mm blue led fan on it...
Comments: this is perfect for me and to all them bad reviews about the EAX being bad...well i play cod1/2 and AA and it makes my 2 speaker setup sound like suround sound system, i can't even play if i dont have this sound card its just to clear and the updates are even nicer crisp clear and PERfect...thanks newegg and fedex for fast cheap and most important reliability
Comments: this router is good yes keeps full conection even on the wireless but theres a draw back if you get the version 2 then your gona have frequent conection refreshes withc on my part is a little anoying with AIM but dosnt effect anything els and no firmware updates are avilible for the version 2 only version 3
