Pros: Installed fine, I bought this so I could install Chief Architect and learn it. It handles it with no problem. In 3 years I've had Zero issues.
Cons: None, the card performs seemingly flawlessly.
Overall Review: I would certainly recommend it.
Pros: Plugged it in, works fine, no problems, does what it's supposed to do!
Cons: None at this time. Time will tell as always with hard drives.
Overall Review: I've used WD hard drives exclusively for the past 13 years, both internal and external, and haven't had one crash on me yet. Currently I have 8 externals and a couple of internals, no problems with any of them. They're always reliable, and I expect the same out of this one.
Pros: First, let me state, I'm no pro, heck, I'd like to know what my 22 yr. old son forgets in a day! I do know how to build a basic PC though, and I've used ASUS boards on the last 4 of my 5 builds, had one DOA, it got replaced and I still use it 7 years later! Windows 7 pro 64 bit installed without a hitch. Memory was recognized with no problems. I did install the memory opposite of the manual per other reviewers comments about the manual listing the wrong dimm slots for dual channel memorym, and it worked. Haven't had it more than a week, so can't say much yet. I did want to share the ease of installation, and the fact that it seems to perform fine. I'll update as I experience it. I'm not a gamer, so the onboard graphics are all I need, they look great! Havent used the audio yet. Very smooth install.
Cons: All the negative reviews! No, seriously, none yet. It's fallible, as is any piece of electronics. We'll see. All my previous boards, except for the aforementioned DOA board have performed fine, so I don't expect any problems with this one.
Overall Review: System basics:
AMD Phenom IIx4 955 Black Edition
WD 320 gb
G.SKill 4gb DDR3 SDRAM 1333
MS Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
Pros: Cheap, works fine, does what it's supposed to do, no problems after a couple of months. Love the swinging cover, can't lose it!
Cons: None really....
Overall Review: Mine went through a complete wash cycle, I let it dry out, and it just kept working, didn't lose the data that was on it!
Cons: Cable just did not work. Must've got a bad one. New Egg still rocks, not their fault.
Pros: Finally, 2 TB in one small, slim drive. Not a huge deal, but it's nice to see them finally size them down ( I have 3 of the large mirrored 2 TB drives). Transfer rates are fine, no problems with speed. Price is certainly right, I snagged two of em'!
Cons: None really, unless you count the fact that USB is the only connection, (I can understand the need for firewire for some folks).
Overall Review: This is a basic HD for basic storage, perfect for my needs!
Pros: Great thumb drive, no problems, files copy quickly. Already been through the wash twice, let it dry a few hours each time, still worked fine! The prices are really coming down on these things. I'll buy a larger one next time.
Overall Review: Sturdy, love the swivel cap, can't lose it!
Pros: On/Off power button, GREAT feature! My WD premium 2 doesn't have that, and i paid 100.00 more for it! USB 2.0 Transfer rates are very quick! No probs, it does what it's supposed to do. Price was certainly right for this much storage!
Cons: Case is plastic, may turn some folks off. If you drop it, I suppose it doesn't matter what the case is made of!! USB is the only connection, some folks will want firewire. Both are really no biggies (for me anyways)! If you want to use the max capacity (2 TB), you'll have to configure it out of mirror mode (minor irritant), not a problem, easily done.
Overall Review: Would buy another one in a heartbeat!
Pros: Built a cheap PC for a friend who needed something for burning and surfing. Blazing speed compared to his old PC!! Just a basic processor, for a basic PC.
Cons: None, it's works and it's worth the small price I paid for it.
Overall Review: Perfect for anyone on a budget wanting to build a cheap, fairly fast PC!
Pros: Built a basic PC for a friend on a budget. This MOBO seems to be perfect for his needs, which are pretty much surfing and burning! No issues, worked fine out of the box.
Cons: None at the moment, hopefully it continues to work!
Overall Review: Perfect for the budget minded builder!
Pros: No real complaints on this tower. Power supply could be larger, but it was built as a basic PC for a friend to burn cds, dvds, etc so it's fine to that end. No case fans included. Build went very quickly, no problems or issues. Everthing fit as it should.
Cons: None other than the power supply and lack of case fans.
Overall Review: I'd buy another for the same situation (basic PC). Remember to grab a fan for it!
Pros: Swivel cover, no cap to lose, all aluminum, seems very sturdy, transfer rate for files is quick, XP recognizes it immediately. Works fine!
Cons: None yet.
Pros: Great price (got it on sale), easy setup, USB 2.0 transfers are really quick. Not much to say, it works, it stores.
Pros: Super cheap, works fine!
Cons: None, it works!
Pros: Asus, cheap! Cheap ram works great in it (pqi power series). On board graphics isn't the greatest, but I'll put in a good, cheap graphics card and fix that.
Cons: Couldn't load the OS with a sata optical drive, had to buy an ide, after that, no probs, (so far)
