Works as intended
Cons: Hoses are a bit stiff
Overall Review: I recommend this 100%
Pros: Unit worked perfectly out of the box.
One of the only 256 bit cards out there that won’t break the bank.
Cons: Older tech.. getting a little past it’s prime.
Overall Review: You will not have any problems getting decider frames ... just keep you refresh’s rate around 90mhz with a proper monitor. Anything beyond that you will need to back off the eye candy.
Pros: Not a big fan of “white label” products... in some cases I have experienced some questionable items.
This closed loop cooler has a reasonable build quality and installs in less than an hour for an experienced builder.
Cons: Instructions were crappy... sorry... but google translate missed the mark.
I am normally a high end boutique builder using high end parts so had to just used common sense and did not refer to the instructions.(Pretty straight forward)
Overall Review: The included fan is adequate however I expect my customer to return for a high end PWM fan in the future.
Pros: Cheap and effective
Overall Review: Works as intended in an S7 with compatible Samsung high power wall adaptor. No excessive heat and provides normal charge times
Pros: Works as intended and it is very convenient.
Cons: For some reason my OEM Apple wall block seems to get excessively warm compared to the when I use the OEM cord that came with my iPhone 7.
Also, it seems to take a bit longer to fully charge the device.
Overall Review: It has a thinner gage wire (than my OEM cord) which might explain the extra time required to get a full charge and the excess heat i witness with the power block... the question is ...”will reduce the life expectancy of the power block”?
Pros: none so far performance is in line with the price
Cons: this is a slightly de-tuned version .... still a good card but not the flagship for this segment.
the LED is weak but the light show is not the reason to buy a card.
Overall Review: make sure you "pair" this card with a suitable CPU/MOBO combination.... no sense in bottlenecking your system with this entry level card.
Pros: no big surprises here .... it does exactly what it is designed to do.
Cons: none to speak of considering I have had them less than a month
Overall Review: people need to educate themselves before posting negative comments.
this is a "USB3.0" enclosure.
as such it requires you to connect to a "USB3.0" port for it to function properly.
a "USB2.0" port does not provide adequate power so of course it won't work dummy!!!
this is not Newegg's fault ... and chances are the unit is not DOA!
as far as a "status LED" goes ... it does not include one... if your hard drive controller board has an LED you will see it!!!
Pros: delivered product in a reasonable time.
product tested any functioning properly.
Cons: my bad ... did not read the fine print carefully .... I just looked at the picture.
when I opened up the package there was no charge cord.
it clearly states that that the cord is "not" included.(if you bothered to "scroll down to read")
if I had done my due diligence I would not have purchased this product at this price point....learn as you burn!!!
Overall Review: feeling a bit like this was marketed in such a way as to catch customers off guard.... well ... it worked!!!
it is my own fault... no debate... but chances are that I will be more skeptical about ordering anything else( from New Egg's 3rd party vendors) especially when the customer feels like a chump!!!
Pros: hooked up to my ac router without issue
throughput is definitely better than old "N" 150 I was using
no need to reset unit thus far.
$20 with free shipping made this a deal worth considering
Overall Review: friggin' fast delivery!!!! at my doorstep in less than 48 hours .... well done Newegg!!!
Pros: price point was "spot on" for an economy build.
holds all the parts like it should.... i even installed a closed loop water coolong system with no problem.
air flow is acceptable..
no cut fingers yay!
Cons: as to be expected ... cable management is limited.
the thin metal can be easily bent if you are rough with it.
the front audio cable is just a bit too short and had to be streched across the motherboard to reach the header. zero chance for routing.
Overall Review: you get what you pay for people!
Let's face it ... you're just not going to get a USB 3.0 port or dust filters on a $20.00 case, period ... so stop whining!
i cannot believe the nasy comments said about Antec!
Antec is allowed to compete at this price point and in my 30 years in the computer business i have seen people pay alot more for crappier cases.(me being one of them)
This computer case is what it is .... a cheap box to hold cheap parts ... and it does the job.
New egg shipping rocks! I ordered the item at 9am on tuesday and it was on the bench by 4pm the following day. Well done New Egg.
Pros: this is a classy looking, descreate box suitable for regular useage.
i see reasonable value for a corperate or home theatre build. Client was very pleased.
Cons: All minor gripes:
No front USB 3.0 headers as of yet. Hopefully they will be comming soon!.
The inclusion of holes for a side panel fan would be helpful if you intend on any "aggressive" overclocking.
Get your dust rag ready. this thing is a fingerprint magnet!!
Overall Review: Catch this on sale with free shipping and you will have yourself a nice little enclosure. it's cheap enough that you can carry one as inventory/display for convenience.
Pros: Does exaxtly what it is intended to do.
Things are staying cool.
Cons: not really a "con" per se ... i knew it going into the purchase ... but please be aware that this unit does not come with a PWM controlled fan. i found that the fan is noticeable!!! Whoever says it "runs silent" is pulling your leg. (I am currently shopping for a 92mm PWM fan)
i also recommend that you buy some thermal paste along with cooler. The small amount of thermal paste provided is too "watery" in my opinion.
Overall Review: Assembly took 35 minutes. (I had to pull the motherboard because the cutaway on my Antec 300 and the location of my CPU do not line up.)
Also, you will have to remove the fan to access the screws during install.
One last thought. For an extra 5 bucks you can get the next model higher.(Thermaltake CLP0600 92mm Contact 21 CPU Cooler) It comes with a controlled fan and superior cooling.
Pros: this the first time working with this low profile ram. it installed perfectly and seems to run cool.
Cons: none. it's budget ram.
Overall Review: prime 95 ram for 24hrs straight. no errors. 'nuff said!
Pros: layout is better than i expected once i got down to work on this mobo. Bios updating went smoothly. Great fit for a budget build.
Cons: Software disk has all necessary drivers but the "other" software required me to explore the disk to dig it out manually.
Overall Review: rock solid!!! budget build went without incdent.
this is about my 8th build with biostar boards. not one has has had to go in for warrentee.
Pros: cheap and effective.
Cons: none. it installed the OS in a new budget build without incedent.
Overall Review: Remember that OEM means no software. keep that in mind.
Pros: this speedy little sucker .... Installs easily, runs cool enough and is overkill for email, facebook and the like. this is a very capable proc. for a business or budget build.
Overall Review: i antcipate several years of usefull life from this proc. Considering the price ... it is a good deal.
Pros: Arrived intact in less than 3 days.(good job newegg!) the case itself is "as expected" for the price. It is relatively bland but totally functional. The power supply is adequite for the budget build i worked on.
Cons: the provided power supply was one of the loudest i have heard in several years of being a system builder. you will know when the system is on!!!
Overall Review: I have always had good sucess with Foxconn. I got what was expected. nothing more - nothing less.
Pros: haven't had to manually charge the thing yet.
Cons: soun quality: my kid says it sounds like i'm talking under water.
Overall Review: it's $20.00, shipping was free and it works just fine ... thank you very much!!!
Pros: worked perfectly out of the box. this was an upgrade from a pentium e2200. price was reasonable.
as others have said "it's a speedy little sucker"!!!!
Cons: none so far.
Overall Review: perfect for an office deployment, web surfing or general computing. delivered in 48hrs .... well done newegg!!!
Pros: quiet and worked perfectly out of the box.
Cons: no PFC, but that is not expected on a $40.00 power supply.
Overall Review: very good for budget build. more connectors than needed for a standard deployment.
Pros: working as required. quiet. speed is reasonable.
Overall Review: running 24/7 for 3 weeks now as a primary drive without a problem.
came with the most current firmware installed so it was plug'n'play!
Pros: slight bit heavier than some competator's offerings. suitable for my 5" garmin.
Overall Review: works fine on my jeep's dash.
Pros: works flawlessly with windows 7!!!!
Cons: kinda cheaply made!
Overall Review: i contacted vantec prior to purchace and was assured that this unit has been updated and is windows 7 compliant. with that said .... i went and purchaced the item and it is working as expected. no complaints in regards to it's performance.
Pros: works as expected
Pros: good layout/ ample features for an office build.
Cons: as others have stated the bios is not able to support AHCI which you need to turn on for TRIM support(requrement for good ssd drive maintenance)
as a result an ssd is not a reccomended build option.( unless of course asus releases a bios update that can enable that feature.)
Overall Review: feature rich for a budget build.
