CyberPower CP850PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS 850 VA 510 Watts PFC Compatible Mini-Tower
CyberPower CP850PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS 850 VA 510 Watts PFC Compatible Mini-Tower

Pros: This little guy has saved my bum many times. The power in my apartment up at college is very finniky; surging, undervolting and completely going off more often than one would want. It acts both as a UPS and a surge protector. The LCD on it is fantastic; I love seeing how much power is left in the battery and how much my PC is using. The additional software included is great as well!

Cons: Alarm in it is a bit annoying; but one can remedy that by "silencing" the alarm via the front-panel buttons.

Overall Review: Great, recommended if you love your PC!

Good.....if it works.

LG Black 6X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 40X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Model GGC-H20L
LG Black 6X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 40X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Model GGC-H20L

Pros: I dont kow of any right yet......

Cons: Drive that Newegg sent me was defective, my computer would detect the drive no problem, but when it came to PLAYING a DVD....HA! Forget about it! Took 3-4 mins to read the DVD, then when it would finally read the Disc, the unit would power-down and stop playback of the movie. Wouldnt run .exe's either on a disc, such as installing a game. My rig is all blue-ray ready, so the probability of it being a problem on my end is slim-to-none.

Overall Review: I RMA'd, hopefully the next one works. Only 2 eggs because of,well, the drive not working properly.

Game changer

Toshiba 40" 1080p 60Hz LED-LCD HDTV 40SL412
Toshiba 40" 1080p 60Hz LED-LCD HDTV 40SL412

Pros: This a fantastic set; 40" of sheer brilliance. The colors are vivid, plenty of inputs and the menu is slick and intuitive. The remote for this set is also grand, having buttons you wish you'd had on your previous set. Super thin; this makes transportation or even space-saving on your stand/desk easy-peasy. I love the touch-sensitive power/volume/input/etc buttons on the FACE of the TV. Toshiba really did "think of everything" with this set.

Cons: Looks very plastic-y, but then, what doesn't these days?

Overall Review: I'm using this as a PC monitor, so my text on the screen looks a little messy. This however is only because of the distance I am sitting from the screen (a little over 2 ft.) I had to adjust the windows "cleartype" to clean it up a little. This was a known factor for me, as it DOES look better than a 720p screen at my distance, 1080p would look much better at a larger viewing distance. Still not a deal breaker. The speakers are what they are, don't expect PC or Home audio-level quality. They are speakers, they work and they were included in the price of the TV. LED TVs are notorious for poor speakers because of the panel thinning benefit LED has. Don't let the review of "bad speakers" deter you.

You lost me on this one

Corsair Carbide Series 500R Black Steel structure with molded ABS plastic accent pieces ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX (not included) Power Supply
Corsair Carbide Series 500R Black Steel structure with molded ABS plastic accent pieces ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX (not included) Power Supply

Pros: The color scheme of the whole presentation is great, white LED fans with a black exterior/interior are a great pairing. Cable management is pretty great for this case, lots of holes and notches to route cables through; non-modular psu friendly. Having a cut-out at the top-left of the motherboard plate was a TERRIFIC idea for those tricky 8-pin CPU connectors. Lots of HDD racks, flexibility of the racks ensure durability. Bumped-out side panels ensure space for cables and the large fan to not interfere with components.

Cons: Unfortunately the cons far outweigh the pros however. First off, one the front panel USB3 ports came with a bent contact pin; rendering the whole port useless. When I say bent I mean BENT, the whole pin was twisted, contorted and broken off like someone jammed a pencil in it. Secondly, if you don't plan on removing the upper HDD cage, then prepare to move your disk drive up one slot. L-angle SATA cables don't work when you have a disk drive at the bottom bay. One of the pre-drilled holes for the power supply were off by a centimeter or two, forcing me to angle a screw.

Overall Review: Its seems Corsair, while focusing on the "large" things about cases, forgot about the small things...things that add up to completely break a case. I heard about Corsair's reputation and decided to go with them over cooler master; it seems by decision was wrong. Their QC department needs a smack in the teeth, neglection is a big part of Corsair as it seems to me. I'll go with CoolerMaster next time.

Nice little guy

ADATA Nobility Series NH01 640GB USB 3.0 2.5" Portable Disk Drive ANH01-640GU3-CBK Black
ADATA Nobility Series NH01 640GB USB 3.0 2.5" Portable Disk Drive ANH01-640GU3-CBK Black

Pros: - Small enough to place in a pocket - Pretty durable (I wouldn't go dropping it on purpose though) - USB 3.0 w/ 2.0 backwards compat. on the same cable - Unobtrusive Blue LED activity light

Cons: - 598GB formatted with NFST....bummer about the conversion tables - Sticking this on a 2.0 port with a 6ft 3.0 cable wont work, there wont be enough power, but that's not the drive's fault

Overall Review: -Get this if you need a slick new external, you will future-proof yourself since it is USB3 -Makes a cool "clicking" noise when it powers off =p

Second set, still awsome!

Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory w/ Red LEDs Model BL2KIT25664TR1337

Pros: Everything

Cons: Free cooling fan wasn't offered when I ordered :(

Overall Review: I bough a 4GB kit back in 2009 for my new PC build(now my "current" PC) and I loved these so much I wanted another set to feed Windows 7 8GB. I'm a Crucial fan for life now.
