Pros: No problems. Purchased 8 drives and all running solid. Setup and consistency check were normal.
Cons: Price dropped a week after purchase
Overall Review: Ask me again in 3-4 years when these disks are still spinning.
Pros: They work with the I-Star T-7M1. They do function just fine. No problem with fit or function.
Cons: Not as good as they used to be. Too expensive for what they are.
Overall Review: I think another reviewer mentioned the difference in design from the originals. They are expensive only because I-Star or whoever knows you need them to fit in your T-7M1 bays and there really isn't any alternative. I own about 7 of the old type and now 3 of the newer type.
Pros: If your reading this then you probably already know what this board offers. Easy overclock. Stable performance, easy to set up. As it should be for this level of product. Recognized all 64Gb of HyperX Beast 64GB KHX21C11T3FK8/64X no issues. Very happy with this setup. I have had some quirky issues with some other Asus WS boards, compatibility with Array Controllers specifically; and was hesitant to purchase Asus again, but this one has been grinding away. So Far So Good.
Cons: I got nothin.
Pros: I had no problems setting this up as my boot drive on 2 different motherboards, both Asus. It's been solid for over a year and a half. Still getting 373MB/s reads but only 105MB/s writes which I believe has gone down. I just upgraded the firmware but that did not make a difference.
Cons: Write Speeds could be better. Is this a garbage collection problem?
Overall Review: I see a LOT of negative reviews on this card here and elsewhere but I have not had any problems and believe it operates as it should.
Pros: Powerful but small. Amazingly quiet for its small Fan.
Overall Review: I agree very much with what another reviewer here said, when I opened the packaging I thought "this thing is only partially modular" but then I ended up using all of the non-modular cables anyway. Also the extra pcie power 6+2 pin cables were a bit stiff.
I was using a thermaltake toughpower 875 and it was MUCH louder. I haven't even had the fan running past idle using an i7950(3.8Ghz) and GTX580 + watercooling + 3 hard drives playing Crysis. I would buy this power supply again and recommend it to others.
Pros: When it worked it pumped well and was quiet.
Cons: It stopped working after about 30 days which is the length of the warranty.
A $70 pump should last longer!
Overall Review: This product should be warranted for a more realistic length of time. 30 days is maybe enough if it is DOA.
