Good bang for the buck.
Pros: Load times, footprint, Good selection of streaming sources. Came with a good quality HDMI cable.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Very happy with this purchase. Bought it locally on a whim and wished that I had checked here at NewEgg first to have saved a few bucks. This loads much faster than than the Panny BD it replaced, setting up accounts was a breeze with no spelling things out, my Onkyo TX-NR609 remote operates everything on it and streaming video was crisp and clean via Netflix. Updated the firmware before I did anything else and the on screen interface was very intuitive and that included it only took about 15 minutes from box to watching streaming video and BD. Feel like I found a diamond in the rough with this one.
It works...
Pros: Works well for my home theater arrangement. Can link to four different peripherals. Small.
Cons: A real pain to set up because the enclosed documentation seemed to be aimed at "see how easy this is" instead of giving actual information on setting the darned thing up. I eventually called D-Link's tech service and the first call didn't get anywhere because the tech didn't want to wait for me to look up my SSID and IP address. Second call got me up and running but it was a bear to understand the accent of the tech who I am guessing was in Islamabad.
Overall Review: D-Link calls themselves a California company. the product is made in China and their customer service is in either aIndia or Pakistan.
User friendly! Just put them on and go.
Pros: Very clear and bright lenses, seem very durable and look great.
Cons: Slow shipping. Snail mail from Cali to the East coast.
Blazing fast
Pros: Screen, SSD, good customer service. I messed up the OS first night in and tried a restore which crapped out. Called Acer and they emailed me a fedex label and I sent it in to be restored and was impressed by the very quick turnaround. Thank you, Acer! Setup was a breeze using my M$ account and Firefox sync. Minimal bloatware easily removed and the backlit keyboard makes typing in a dark room easy. Connecting to my WiFI was a breeze and the connection is solid. I saw none of the problems others have claimed. The touchpad is responsive right out of the box and is easily adapted to as the whole pad can be used as right or left click rather than two dedicated rockers at the bottom. I like this better. It is FAST with a boot up of around six seconds and multi tasking does not seem to slow it down. Games and large photoshop files are handled easily. The sound is good for a laptop and loud enough to game or skype but I will use external speakers for the additional bass that I prefer. The understated looks are a plus as well, it looks professional rather than gaudy.
Cons: No scroll strip on touchpad. Will have to get used to using arrows.
Overall Review: Very happy with my purchase.
Android 4.4

Cons: none
Overall Review: My nexus upgraded to Android 4.4 KiKat last week. Works well.
Totaled a new build
Pros: Paperweight
Cons: Bought three of these and they wouldn't let a new build even boot.
