Pros: Good performer, solid specs
Cons: QA and costumer support is really a letdown of this product. The first unit I received was defective that I couldn't turn the computer off even though Windows turns off in seconds. The replacement unit doesn't have the problem, but it had small problems like reading voltages very inaccurately (multimeter reads 3.32v, motherboard reads 3.47v). After three month of use with the replacement unit, both wires of the antenna broke (I didn't even touch the antenna that much) and wifi became basically unusable. Submitted the issue twice on ASRock website, and half a month later still no reply. Besides both boards have serial numbers mismatch between the boards and the boxes despite that I bought condition new. While the board itself is great in many aspect, unfortunately poor execution from ASRock makes the overall experience far from satisfactory.
Pros: One thing I noticed along the way I was researching on laptops and monitors is that, whenever a product is expected to have high quality display (no matter it's a laptop or monitor) there's always a ton of reviews about display issues like backlit bleed etc. The thing is, as far as my experience, many of them are actually fine if you don't blow up your brightness to 100% and try to find backlit bleed with an all black image and all lights off. And frankly most people just don't use displays that way. I was very concerned about the 4K display on the Dell XPS 9570 before I buy it, but it turned out just fine. I also had an old 2013 Macbook Pro that I've been using for past 4 years and one day when I followed the steps online I immediately found that at 100% brightness with pure white background, one side of screen is warmer than the other side. But I just don't notice it when I use it daily even when I use it with 70%-80% brightness. Anxiously looking for problems will amplify imperfections to intolerable failures, and that's why people often have no luck if they try to order replacement several times because each time their expectation is getting worse. Another thing is people will be much more likely to write an review if their units are faulty, making it seems a product is having an extremely high failure rate. Anyways, I took a chance buying this display with so many negative reviews and now I'm happy with it. Yes there is backlit bleed if I go 100% brightness and all black but who cares. It's a beautiful display when I use it the way I normally use and that's all that matters.
Cons: The buttons are indeed hard to press, but it doesn't feel cheap or anything, just not so well designed. Since I don't use the so often I probably won't mind it.
Overall Review: The stand is well-built and adjusts all the ways I want.
