Overall Review: Like many here I found the mask straps which hold it with your ears are very small. Very painful to wear for a long period of time. If you're looking for a protective mask you can wear all day or for me, even a couple of hours look somewhere else.
My three-star rating is really generous.
Cons: Just so's you know, this software package is for up to three WINDOWS systems. Unlike other antimalware packages, Bitdefender only offers the option to cover Macs on its top-tier 5-system package, at considerable additional cost ... or significantly shorter term of coverage ... and not this package.
Overall Review: Kinda kluncky antivirus. setting up scheduled scans is buried deep in the settings, not as customizable as other antimalware packages. It's worth it for short money if you have only Windows systems, not so much if you have Macs or a mixed shop of Windows and Mac systems.
Pros: Ability to switch between 3 paired devices easily
True independent Bluetooth device - does not require USB dongle to work with Bluetooth-equipped devices, like most Logitech keyboards
Has spare USB dongle to work with computers NOT equipped with dedicated Bluetooth broadcasting
Cons: Could use a built-in riser/legs to prop up the top of the keyboard for easier typing.
Overall Review: I bought this because:
1) It works with Bluetooth-equipped devices WITHOUT Logitech's add-on chip. So I can pair it with my Bluetooth-equipped PC laptop, PC desktop and Mac Mini without tying up USB ports.
2) It's a full keyboard, with 10-key calculator functions to the right a fairly rare feature with pure Bluetooth keyboards. Most of the full-sized Bluetooth keyboards need a dongle. This one provides one if you need it, but if your device has built-in Bluetooth you won't need it.
Device is heavy. Hopefully that translates into sturdy and reliable ... hopefully I'll find that to be the case as time goes on.
Pretty easy to type on. Has good, positive key action and seems to take well to my pounding on it like it's a manual typewriter. Would be better if I could elevate the top of the keyboard to facilitate easier, ergonomic typing.
Top bracket for handling a tablet/smartphone is very handy especially if you're like me and prefer to text/SMS at the speed of physical keyboard typing.
I would absolutely recommend this keyboard, even if you only want to pair it with just one Bluetooth-equipped advice. The multi-pairing feature is a bonus or helpful necessity, depending on how many devices you need to use it with. If you're tired of shuffling between keyboards on your desktop, this is the answer for you.
This is a quality piece of kit priced at roughly half the price of rival pure Bluetooth keyboards. A well-built piece of equipment from a leading manufacturer. It's more than worth the price.
Pros: Separate IR receiver let me place the main box below the desk
Has separate manual switch on main box if IR goes on the fritz
Super Small - Velcro'd it to a 4-port Gigabit switch and it only covers half the top surface
Cons: Little documentation
Needs additional power cable that wasn't supplied
Overall Review: Very compact remote switcher with manual override switch on case. Ironing out little glitches like one laptop sleeping and not waking easily when switching back to it (laptop set to never sleep, worked fine for two days then problem developed ... it's kinda confusing). But for the price, it works well and is well worth spending time to iron out the bugs. A good buy.
Pros: Very sturdy mounting, even with the clamp-over desk option.Handles fairly heavy 26" monitor well with very little sag.Great hardware, well-built and easy to assemble with a little patience.
Cons: For my needs, the mounting post is literally about 4-5 inches short. Not an issue for me, but if your monitor is 27-32 inches and has VESA mounting holes 200mm apart, you're going to need an additional adapter or some fabrication to mount it to this setup.
Overall Review: This is a great setup for mounting a large-format monitor to your workstation with a tiny footprint. Very sturdy, easy to assemble with lots of adjustability within its range. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because for my drafting table/standing desk it's about 4-5 inches short to place the center of the monitor level with my eyes from my work surface. And I've got it set high (and maybe even a little higher than I should) at the absolute top of the main post's adjustment range. I'm not exceptionally tall at 5'8", so for taller users the problem may be more acute. This may or may not work when mounting on a desk surface you'd be sitting at. But for me, it literally comes up just a little bit short.
Pros: All the cords and plugs are now in the dock, not constantly getting pulled and re-plugged into my laptop when I get back to my office
Unhooking my laptop from my office configuration for road work is a one pushbutton, one second task
Overall Review: Great factory product, excellent price and prompt delivery. Thank you very much.
Pros: - Compact
- Metal case
- Status Lights reflecting not only that you are connected, but the speed of it too
Cons: - Would rather have had all plugs in back/just lights in front
Overall Review: I bought this to extend the wired connection of my work table/standing desk (two PCs) about 15 feet away from the cable modem/router. As expected, the switch gives me much faster speeds and measurably more security. Good product at a great price.
Overall Review: Sure I would.
Pros: - Really is completely tool-less.
- Serves the purpose well
Cons: None, really
Overall Review: Bought three of 'em for my use, ended up using two and giving away one. Will buy more of 'em at these prices. A screaming deal for what you get.
Pros: - High-performance 7200RPM, USB 3.X drive
- Well engineered
- Nice case
- Durable (Writing this review 4 years after I bought it)
Cons: - Case is almost too nice - bottom edges rubbed finish, fixed with small Velcro pads.
Pros: I got something, eventually.
Cons: I didn't get what I ordered.
Overall Review: Note the photo that goes with this description. It shows a stylus you can use for your tablet or smartphone. Note the fresh description, though, which calls this a "stylus pen." When I ordered this, the description matched the picture. I ordered it with other items, and the next day only half my order processed because this item was listed as out of stock.
I heard nothing from the vendor for three weeks, and then asked NewEgg to intervene. Lots of emails flying back and forth, and I got three pens with stylus ends. They work, I guess, but the pen end is a pain (it constantly opens the pen end which I never use) and it's specifically what I didn't want. But for the small amount of money I paid, it's not worth more than reporting this unfortunate experience. I didn't get what I wanted, but what I got was cheap and it'll work in a pinch. I'll deal with it until I can get what I really want elsewhere.
Pros: - Secure, tightly holds iPad
- Good looking, safely padded case
- Great Buy
Cons: - None, really
Overall Review: The product photos show two different styles of cases. One type looks like it covers the stereo speakers at bottom of iPad Air, which I didn't want, but got. Fortunately, the speaker covers have holes in them that lets the sound through, but isn't described in the product listing. Glad I bought it.
Pros: Big, bright screen, sturdy mounting and stand, great price.
Cons: Non-adjustable stand, no DVI cable.
Overall Review: I bought this monitor on sale at NewEgg for only $150. That's a great price for a large format monitor, and this is a great large-format monitor. And bright too! I scaled contrast down to 50% and brightness down to 40% to make it comfortable to view. The stand is non-adjustable -- and short -- but it's very sturdy. Prop it up on some phone books so you can look straight into it without straining your neck and you'll love it.
And I have no idea why this monitor -- like many inexpensive high-resolution models -- is shipped with a VGA cable and not a DVI one. The VGA cable can't support the video quality this monitor is capable of, yet it's the one that gets shipped instead of a cable that takes full advantage of monitor capabilities.
I can't imagine that a DVI cable costs much more -- if any more -- than a VGA one, so all I can figure is that somebody in the Far East has a big warehouse full of old cables they have to get rid of before they can order new ones. I'd rather get no cable at all than another junk one ...
