Pros: Upgraded from a 9800gtx and this card is so much faster than I expected. I have played Bad Company 2, Black Ops, World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Just Cause 2, Crysis, and Aliens vs Predator all on max settings @ 1680x1050 and haven't even noticed the slightest hitch.
Overall Review: This card takes anything I throw at it. You will not regret buying this card!
Pros: Keeps my i7 860 @ ~25C idle and ~38 under load
Cons: None at all
Overall Review: I prefer this cooler over my previous corsair A70 and arctic cooling freezer.
Pros: This motherboard is loaded with features and goodies not found in the average 1156 mobo. First of all, the color scheme is great. The layout is the best I've had in a motherboard to date. This ROG feature is a great bonus. I don't use it much, but it was fun to play around with. Now, on to the overclocking. This motherboard is a champ when it comes to overclocking. I was able to reach a stable 4+ ghz with the software overclocking utility provided with the driver disk. I was able to push my i7 860 to 4.2 ghz on air. Like I said earlier, this board is a champ!
Cons: The battery is obstructed by my videocard, so I have to remove the card to reset CMOS. However, if you have a normal dual slot card then this won't be any problem at all. it is honestly difficult to find any meaningful downfalls with this board.
Overall Review: Upgraded my spare computer from an old 750i to this amazing 1156 board. I can honestly say that I prefer this board over the $300 x58 board in my other rig. You will have no regrets buying the ASUS Maximus III Formula!
P.S. I bought the board during a one day deal of 10% off so I got one heck of a deal!
