Pros: HIGH quality, solid, machined pefectly. Cant ask for more. Parts went together perfect. Not for the first timer. If you know what you are doing, this will blow your mind. Very big case, but thats what makes it great. You can fit everything in this case just like a mid tower. Beautiful finish, nice LCD display, tray and bottom flap have dampeners in them so it just dosent flip open, opens SMOOOOOOOOTHLY. Great feature. Cable are plenty long enough to reach all the ports of my ASUS Rampage Board. The two Diamond HD 4670 1GB DDR3 Graphics cards fit with no problems. Thermaltake CL-P0466 Heat sink and fan fit like they were made to go together. With one exhaust fan, I run at 29C during COD4 on ultra high settings.
Cons: not a con for the case, just make sure that your board has sata ports that face up. Mine face to the side and it was a pain in the .... to get just two of the 8 in.
Overall Review: Tech support was awesome. No recording, a real live person answered the call and answered every question I had about the unit. I wanted to know about the LCD and he answered greatly! Best experience I have ever had with a case.
Waste of money
Pros: New egg shipped within one day. LOOKS like a good card
Cons: I replaced 2 Diamond HD 4670 cards with one of these and it wont even play GTA4 for 15 minutes without blackscreening. I bought a total of 3 of these cards for my employees and my HTPC. My employees PC's lock up in Premier CS4 with the same black screen. Once it crashes, the card is so hot that you cant even touch it. This is with dual 250mm fans, dual 120mm fans. Tried calling EVGA 3 times and after waiting an hour each time (I am waiting on hold with them now as a matter of fact) I was told: 1st time - Your OCZ 700watt power supply is not enough. I bought a PC Power and Cooling 750 watt with approx 85 amps and still same problem. 2nd time - They told me that it was the drivers and that I needed to download install the beta drivers from nvidia. That didnt fix it. 3rd time - they said it was thermal. OK, well I cant ad anymore fans so I guess this card requires liquid cooling?! It doesnt say that on the box....nor does it say that you need more then 680watt and 46 amps.
Overall Review: Dont waste your money on this card. Get the HD 5000 series card. It blows this card out of the water.
Pros: Fast shipping, solid design.
Cons: Unclear as to the connections of the cables. Came with one female VGA and one Male VGA end. Who has ever seen a monitor or KVM switch with a female VGA port!? Now I am stuck with worthless KVM cables that I paid 60 bucks for because I dont have the packaging they came in. NewEgg shipped fast though, next day! They are unclear as to the exact port specs. I guess they thought like I did, "Of course it has two male VGA's , why wouldn't it!?"
Cant ask for more...
Pros: Changed from a Gigabyte EP45-DS3L because my Quad Core Q6600 was running a little hotter then I like at 51C. I was also having issues with games skipping and movies skipping when watching. It was not a scratched disk skip either because it skipped the same way every time. I swapped everything and last but not least, the motherboard. I went with this model and I am very happy. It cleared up every problem I had before. Running Vista Ultimate 64 with 8 Gigs of OCZ Reaper running at 1066. Dual Diamond HD4670 1024 DDR3 memory in Crossfire. Actually outperforms my HSI HD 4870 card in my other PC. LG HD-DVD Blu Ray combo drive wont skip if I tried. Last but not least, my Thermaltake CL-P0466 heatsink and fan keep my babies running under 30C at all times even after playing Fallout 3 on Ultra High graphics. Cant ask for more.
Cons: None, kind of wish it was as cool looking as the Rampage Extreme. However, read the reviews for that board and you will see why I went with this one.
