Know the difference?

Intel Core i5-750 - Core i5 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 1156 95W Processor - BX80605I5750
Intel Core i5-750 - Core i5 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 1156 95W Processor - BX80605I5750

Pros: It is simple, i5 is worth every cent if you know what you are getting. Married with the right mobo this cpu will blow your mind and in some cases out do the i7 big brother(out of the box). At 2.66 GHz this guy runs like a pro even though its lacking the hyper threading of the i7 its ability to utilize its 4 cores"Turbo Mode" is far superior to the current i7 2.6. With a mobo that supports Turbo mode the i5 out of the box will easily "OC" itself to 3.2 GHz without you having to know anything at all. Im currently running this OCed at 4 GHz without problems at all and its cool as can be with stock fan in my system.

Cons: Its not really a Con it's just what its missing. no Hyper Threading. Its a quad core, but if you are looking for HT you should not be buying this you are looking for the i7.

Overall Review: i5s will bethe new mainstream CPU that you will find in dells hps and what not. If you are looking to build a nice computer with a medium budget you cant get better than starting here with the i5.

Well thought out!

Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is very well thought out. If you take a few minutes to map where you want everything run you can have a beautiful set up. Paired perfectly with my h105 radiator. Perfect airflow in this case. For the money I have never owned a case that was as solid as this one. Painted inside and out. cable routing was easily done with a modular PSU. Just..... happy.

Cons: I have to put something here?

Overall Review: ^I had to put something there

If you are scared

ASRock P55 Extreme LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock P55 Extreme LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: The board has it all. If you are looking for a mobo that you can start bare bones and build into a monster stop here. I was a little nervous going away from my normal brand to try this product however I was more than impressed with the results. There were no issues marrying this guy with my i5 and the two work very well together. I was impressed by the look of the board as well as getting what I paid for. The built in OC features work well and it makes it easier for people to set the "Turbo Mode"feature of the i5 and regulating the voltage to everything has never been so easy.

Cons: Its a little tight around the CPU with your Ram and GPU, but if you get everything in correctly you wont have anyproblem

Overall Review: I look forward pushing this board to its limits just to see what it can give to me. Im currently in the process of building a new gaming pc and this was at the right price for the right features. I imagine that later on down the road I will come back to this company for more.
