Awesome GPU for 1440p and 4K gaming!

MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card RTX 2080 Super Gaming X TRIO
MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card RTX 2080 Super Gaming X TRIO

Pros: As a customer who wasn't really impressed/fully satisfied by the results from my last (and 1st) GPU which was the RTX 2070, i've decided to upgrade to the 2080 Super and so far i'm very impressed/happy by it. I haven't overclocked the GPU yet (not sure if I would ever consider it), but the current stock results are already enough for me. I was able to play my favorite and classic old FPS games on 1440-4K, Ultra settings with Ray Tracing enabled on 100-165 FPS. From games like Battlefield 3, 4, 1, V on full 4K, 60 FPS, Titanfall 2, Apex Legends, GTA 5, etc. Very happy with the stock performance of this GPU. And oh boy... this GPU just looks VERY SEXY! Especially with it's awesome looking back plate, RGB, sleek design, etc. What's so strange and very impressive is how insane the cooling is in this GPU. So far I haven't exceeded over 70c on ANY game including Battlefield V on full 4K, 60FPS gameplay. The limit so far 65c. Heck at times, the fans won't even turn on due to the GPU not even hot enough to run the fans on certain heavy loaded games haha. But I believe this is due to my GPU having unlimited air to breath since my PC case is a open air case. I also have to mention the cute comic book style instructions it also comes with... love it!

Cons: The only con I can say is a warning on the size of the GPU... I was shocked to see how BIG and THICC this GPU is..... it's massive... seriously. I highly recommend checking the measurements of this GPU before purchasing it. It also comes with a stand too which is a HUGE plus.. but I didn't need it since my case already has a big support for the gpu.

Overall Review: Overall i'm very happy with the results of the RTX 2080 Super. It's awesome looking, awesome performance for the latest games, able to play games on 4K, etc. I highly recommend this if you want to game on 1440p-4K on high FPS.

AMAZING Motherboard! Yet, disappointing QC issue with ASUS

ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme AMD AM4 X570S EATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, Passive PCH Heatsink, 18+2 Power Stages, 5 x M.2 Slots, Wi-Fi 6E, 2" LiveDash OLED, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Front-panel Connector with PD 3.0 60W, 10Gb & 2.5Gb LAN)
ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme AMD AM4 X570S EATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, Passive PCH Heatsink, 18+2 Power Stages, 5 x M.2 Slots, Wi-Fi 6E, 2" LiveDash OLED, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Front-panel Connector with PD 3.0 60W, 10Gb & 2.5Gb LAN)

Pros: -The MB looks amazing! -Gets the job done very well! -Love the 5 SSD storages. Now i'm able to add tons of my games into each drive and organizing too. -Packaging is high quality and well organized. -Extra goodies from the MB especially a screwdriver, the new DIMM.2, etc.

Cons: As a ASUS ROG fanboy, buying this for my new PC was a must. Being able to take advantage of 5 SSD's, sleek design, amazing RGB, etc. I was able to buy this on sale and arrived on time before Christmas. Started my build on Christmas and well... that's where the nightmare begins. I have to admit that I've built/rebuilt my past PC's over 5 times before this project. And by far this is the most frustrating build due to quality issues. I nearly gave up! Long story short, I came across an issue where every time I boot up my PC, it sends me to a question about TPM. Gives me options to either press Y or N. Guess what? When I clicked both Y and N, NOTHING HAPPPENS! HUH! I've thought I done something wrong while building my new PC. Long story short, I took a week of rebuilding my PC literally 5 more times, keep pressing Y and N, swapping SSD's, swapping parts, etc.. Literally nearly every troubleshoot method i've tried. Eventually I gave up, decided to RMA. Got another new MB and guess what? Gave me the same question before BIOS. Pressed Y and guess what? IT WORKS! IT FINALLY WORKS! FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!! YAY!!!!! What was the issue the whole time? My 1st MB has faulty USB ports.. ugh. Wished I could've returned this sooner and just got another MB!

Overall Review: Even though my 2nd MB works now, I just cannot give ASUS 5 stars. I love ROG, but their QC has been pretty poopy so far. Back in November, i've purchased their 28 inch, 4K 144hz monitor and it has quality issues. Decided to just get a refund from that and now, nearly got a refund for this motherboard too. Yet went through the RMA process, and got a new one that actually works. Just be aware about the QC issues. Also, please make sure you know what you're doing when it comes to building PC's. I've though I nearly knew the basics on building PC's. I guess not after figuring out a week later that my 1st MB has faulty USB ports :p

This monitor is ok but honestly the coil whine is driving me CRAZY! Disappointing QC from Gigabyte

GIGABYTE - M32U - 32" IPS Gaming Monitor - UHD 3840x2160 - 144Hz - 1ms MPRT - AMD FreeSync Premium Pro - Type C KVM - HDMI, DP, Type C - Height Adjustable - Black
GIGABYTE - M32U - 32" IPS Gaming Monitor - UHD 3840x2160 - 144Hz - 1ms MPRT - AMD FreeSync Premium Pro - Type C KVM - HDMI, DP, Type C - Height Adjustable - Black

Pros: I'll say this. I'm pretty mixed by this monitor. But Gigabyte's quality is overall just disappointing atm. Not sure if I'm just unlucky... or they seriously have problems to resolve. I'll share my story.... Monitor 1: Received my first M32U last week. It was great at first until I've discovered a dead pixel. Also the coil whine was pretty loud. Time to RMA! Monitor 2: Just received my replacement yesterday. Well.. all seems good until... LOUD COIL WHINE! yay................ I cannot tell if this is just a big flaw of the M32U, or bad QC from Gigabyte. I've been PC gaming since 2018, bought 4 monitors especially a 4K TV, NEVER heard any coil whine until now from Gigabyte's monitors. It's just annoying! Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Yet, there are ways to fix it.. simply turning your monitor on and off will reduce it.. haha. Yet, it usually comes back right after I turn on my PC. Other than that, i'll just list my pros and cons now. The pros: -The size feels really immersive while gaming. Personally i'm better off with the smaller M28U. Sadly it's been sold out for months now. -Small bezels which is awesome -Clean design and don't mind the lack of RGB -The installing process is very easy The Mixed: -I can't tell if it's just me, but the monitor performance is a mix bag. I felt that this is a bit slower compared to it's other competitors on performance (yes I've played on other 4K, 144hz monitors). Felt like there's lots of ghosting on some overdrive settings. -Apparently HDMI 2.1 is not even "true HDMI 2.1". Only uses half of the bandwidth. Can affect the PS5.

Cons: And... the bad........ -HDR: Please don't use it... lolz -COIL WHINE! It's very loud and it's annoying. Received 2 monitors in total, both have coil whine!

Overall Review: Overall, this monitor is a just a mix bag for myself. After receiving 2 monitors of the same model with both coil whine, I think it's safe to say that imo, it's best to avoid this and wait until the QC improves. Again, I don't know if this is on QC or actually a big flaw from the monitor itself. It's just very annoying and it's not something I want to hear nearly daily especially while gaming and just tying this review.. bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. imagine hearing that daily
