DD-WRT Supported, Rosewill RNX-N150RTv2 - Wireless N150 Wi-Fi Router - IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n, Up to 150 Mbps Data Rates, 5 dBi Fixed Antenna, WDS Bridge Connection, QoS and VPN Supported

Pros: Excellent wireless range. Excellent wired and wireless speed

Cons: None

Overall Review: Purchased this router to replace an old (I'd guess about 10 years) D-Link DIR-524 g router which had served me well, but is likely a bit tired by now. I was amazed at the dramatic range and speed improvement with this new Rosewill router. Previously, using Speedtest, I could only get about 4-5 Mbps via a wireless connection via my old D-Link router to PC in the same room as the router. And via a wired connection I could get about 14 Mbps. And I could scarcely maintain a wireless connection when moving to the living room not very far away. With the new Rosewill, I typically get in excess of 20 Mbps via the wired connection and also via the wireless connection to the living room (where I previously could scarcely maintain a connection at all). A dramatic performance improvement with this new little Rosewill router. Especially considering the price of the new router (I'd gotten it for $20), I am very pleased. This is an excellent product and an outstanding value.

Worked fine for 1 month

D-Link Whole Home Router 1000 (DIR-645) Wireless N300, SmartBeam Coverage, Gigabit, USB SharePort
D-Link Whole Home Router 1000 (DIR-645) Wireless N300, SmartBeam Coverage, Gigabit, USB SharePort

Pros: Good wireless range while it worked

Cons: After 1 month, wireless disconnects sometimes multiple times per day. Had this problem with initial purchase. Replaced via RMA and replacement had exhibited exactly same problem (fine for 1 month, then continuous disconnects).

Overall Review: Bought this primarily for extended wireless range for which this Dir-645 has been highly touted. Had been using $20 Rosewill RNX-N150RT which works very reliably, but need some additional range. Dir-645 did have somewhat improved range (definitely better, but not dramatic). So I was satisfied. After about 1 month. router began dropping wireless connection sometimes multiple times per day. Replaced it via RMA. Now replacement product is experiencing exactly same problem after 1 month. Apparently terrible quality control with this D-Link product. Going to try one more RMA. Unfortunately, each RMA return shipment costs $14.71, so I've already spent more than $29 just in return fees. Only positive here is that I have my reliable little Rosewilll for temporary backup.

Using it strictly for FAX

Rosewill RNX-56CX Modem with Speaker Conexant 56Kbps Internal V.92 PCI Data/Fax/TAM - WINDOWS 7 READY
Rosewill RNX-56CX Modem with Speaker Conexant 56Kbps Internal V.92 PCI Data/Fax/TAM - WINDOWS 7 READY

Pros: Worked right out of the box. Did not use the enclosed CD. Allowed Win 7 (64) to locate and install driver. Unlike experience of some other users, the documentation on my box for this item does not promise caller id. It does state "Full speakerphone function", but I'm not completely clear what that implies. I did try Caller Id using the Phone Tray Free application (available on the web), and although it did recognize the modem, it did not work or appear to sense incoming calls in any way. I do not need this function, nor did I expect it, so it is not a problem for me. Whether or not use of the enclosed driver CD would have enabled Caller ID is unknown. Previous reviewers have suggested that that driver was definitely inferior to the default Win 7 driver. I didn't try it.

Cons: None

Overall Review: The box does not indicate Win 7 support, but it works fine in my Win 7 (64) machine. Unlike the experience of some other reviewers, the hardware installed cleanly in my home built ASUS MOBO machine. At this point, I'm completely satisfied with this product. Assuming it continues to work properly, it's an amazing value for $6.99.
