STRIX + EyeFinity = Amazing
Pros: The past 5+ years' I have been racing on-line in EyeFinity mode @ 6334 x 1080 with three ASUS 60Hz monitors and running various AMD video cards in X-Fire. I now have two ASUS STRIX 390X plugged into my ASUS RAMPAGE IV BLACK EDITION 2011, i7 4960X. 12/7 I upgraded to three ASUS MG278Q 27"/144Hz TN Panels. The picture quality is excellent, all my games run smooth as silk @144Hz and I am very! pleased with STRIX physics across three ASUS TN Panels. Replacing my 280x/60Hz With 390x/144Hz, #I now average -200 watts less, and get +75-fps more. #Eye strain is gone. #Three DisplayPort!
Cons: none
Overall Review: I have six race games and one flight game. I have all games running in CrossFire with FreeSync on, V-Sync on, @ 144Hz, they all maintain 143.8-fps, even with a full race room (FRAPS benchmark). While gaming, STRIX runs @ 50c/60c on the primary card and 45c/55c on the secondary card, medium/high graphics, static-air setup, cool ambient room temperature. I have two STRIX pushing three MG278Q TN @ 7680 x 1440/144Hz my over-all average gaming temp. is 56c. (ALL HARDWARE MENTIONED I GOT FROM NEWEGG!) #ASUS/AMD ROCKS.
Server/Audio Steel Rack
Overall Review: I also got x2 Fixed Rack Shelf 1U (24'' ~ 30'' depth) I placed my order Sunday morning 10:30am, I received my 3 items Wednesday at 4:00pm, nice. Height "without" wheels 55"-1/4" (4'-7"-1/4"), wheels add 2"-3/4". Perfect for my man cave, I have 2 computers, my gamer and a mini pc for everything else. I run Eyefinity, the 4th monitor at my desk is for the mini pc, talk about cords from H... 8 cords just to run my TN panels... I installed my rack mount UPS at the bottom then my PDU, then a shelf for my Full tower PC then the second shelf for my 13"-1/4" tall mini PC works out just right. Both pc's have clear doors, looks very cool and instantly fixed my cable management fiasco.
