Great USB drive!
Pros: This is a very rugged, fast, great little USB drive! I love the tough rubber coating, and the fact that it has a thing to stick the cap on while using the drive, so you don't lose it. I wanted the 32Gb version, but settled for this one due to my typical lack of $$$, lol.
Cons: None, other than OCZ's 10-day policy on getting rebates in these days, but this has absolutely nothing to do with the Egg. Just remember this when purchasing ANY OCZ equipment.
Overall Review: As stated, OCZ requires you to get your rebate in within 10 days these days, which doesn't really give time to properly test many components. Just be aware of this when ordering, though I highly recommend this drive to anybody in need of one.
Better than a G5? I dunno...
Pros: Great feel in hand, good action (despite the sensor being in a more forward location than typical), left/right buttons feel good, dual scroll wheel, lots of buttons, "convertible" wireless etc.
Cons: Sadly, I love everything about this mouse EXCEPT most of the buttons. :( First, compared to a G5 the 4 thumb buttons feel a little too far back. With the G5 I could fully rest my hand on it & always have the side buttons under my thumb. With the G700 I sort of have to consciously move my thumb back to reach them - not nearly as comfortable. I also don't like how subtle the action is of these buttons - sometimes I'm left wondering if I actually hit my coms key or not. The rear two top/side buttons seem to be a little far back as well. While I love the dual action & slick feel of the wheel, I have to press it a little harder than I'm used to, sometimes causing my finger to slide off it instead of actually tilting it left. My other dual action Logitech does not require near as much pressure, making the slick finish a non-issue. The G7 has a rubbery wheel, so tilt-grip is also a non-issue with it.
Overall Review: I bought this for a few reasons.. first, I wanted the option of wireless or wired. Second was because my G5 was having scroll wheel issues + I just wanted more buttons. Unfortunately I'm left wondering if I should exchange this for something else, or just hope I get used to it. This is the first time I've thought about returning a mouse & first Logitech product I've not instantly liked. :-/
Re: Tyler Forge
Pros: I do not (yet) own one of these. This is currently only in response to Tyler Forge's pitiful review.. Who the heck buys a computer monitor & expects its built in speakers to sound good?! Also, in the price category this one falls, I wouldn't be expecting wonders in the USB department/be surprised if its ports weren't powered. It's a monitor & those two features should only be considered extras. Also, do your homework before purchasing.
Cons: As stated, I don't own one of these, though may likely get one. (if I remember, I'll amend this accordingly) It's sad when somebody comes along and gives what's likely a great product, a bad review because they've got unreal expectations though.
Overall Review: It annoys the heck out of me how most monitors have nearly non-adjustable bases. I love how this one can be dropped nearly as low as the bottom of its "foot", without the need for an aftermarket mounting solution. All monitors should have similar!
short lifespan JUNK!!!
Pros: not too loud considering the airflow (until they prematurely fail!) blue LED's match all the other blue's in my build 3-speed fan control move a lot of air
Cons: SHORT lifespan!!! non-threaded/overly small holes - 1st mounting takes brute force! the price for a piece of junk PSU killer!! (see below)
Overall Review: I've never given a product so few Eggs, (or thought I would on anything Antec), but these things are pure garbage. I've owned 3 and all have gone bad in little over a year?!! I do leave my systems on 24/7, but still, have never had fans go out so often, nor take down PSU's when they do. (quality PSU's with plenty of oomph) Third time's a charm, I'll NEVER buy one of these again. BEWARE - apparently Antec's no good @ case fans. Buy at your own risk. (currently ordering some Scythe's & ANOTHER PSU, heh) PS - apparently the word cr%p is obscene & offensive to NewEgg
Great USB drive..
Pros: Durable, waterproof, looks & worked great.
Cons: Failed in under a year.. only holds 2.92Gb's now. :(
Overall Review: The fact that mine died won't sway me from OCZ, but it's annoying. I REALLY like the rubber casing & 16gb of space.. OCZ, I'm a loyal customer, send me some love!!
Pros: For the record, I do not/yet own this product.
Overall Review: Why can't anybody get one of these units right. Since this has audio hook ups I was thinking of replacing my cases stock 3.5 bay with this one, as it contains the same connections + adds a card reader & e-SATA. Since it won't connect via headers, I have no use for it though. I mean come on, who isn't already using their sound cards external connections? Also, IMO, if you're going to include e-SATA, put a power jack in the mix as well.
