Pros: Great processor! I bought it from Newegg in February of 2012 for a new gaming build. Its been going strong ever since, and handles everything I throw at it with no problems. I have no reason to upgrade it yet.
Cons: None.
Great While It Lasted...
Pros: Great card...while it worked. Ran everything at max settings with no problems...while it worked.
Cons: Unreliable hardware in my opinion. Lasted only a little over 4 months. Bought the card from Newegg on 9/21/2009. Card died today, 2/5/2010.
Overall Review: Was playing Star Trek Online at max settings. Card was not overheating. Temperature was 65C as I monitor temps and the card's onboard cooling fan was set to 100% using EVGA's own "EVGA Precision" software. Graphics began to glitch, artifacts started appearing in the game. Shortly afterward a Windows blue screen error occurred. After that artifacts appeared on the bios boot screen. Artifacts also appeared on the Windows XP boot screen, and Windows boot up would freeze at the Windows logo screen. I shutdown the system, removed this card, and installed an older spare video card I had laying around. Everything work fine. RMA filed. Will probably take 1 to 2 weeks before I have a repalcement. So that puts me out of any gaming during that time. I'm very disappointing with this product. I'll think twice before buying another EVGA product.
Almost 8 Years
Pros: Just looking over my Newegg order history, and I realized that I've been running this motherboard daily for almost 8 years now. Never had any problems at all.
Cons: None at all.
Overall Review: Will only buy Asus motherboards in my next build. Very satisfied.
Tried & True, Reliable
Pros: Cheap. Very reliable. I've ran 4GB of this in my older PC for 5 years with no problems. I just bought more to up it to 8GB.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Based on my years of use of this RAM, I'm going to strongly consider G.Skill brand in my upcoming new PC build.
