Enormous fits MEB boards
Pros: enormous MEB board fits perfectly
Cons: arrived slightly bent up -- maybe the packaging could have better protected it from this
Overall Review: I wasn't sure if my MEB board would fit inside this case, and I was pleasantly surprised that the case was clearly designed to hold an MEB board. I just had to move around some of the standoffs for my TYAN S8812WGM3NR MEB Server Motherboard.
Defective Memory Slots
Pros: 32 memory slots 4 CPU slots Available Phone Tech Support
Cons: 8 defective memory slots only one SATA port on the motherboard
Overall Review: This would have been a great board, if all 32 memory slots worked. Unfortunately, only 24 memory slots worked on my board, mirroring many reviews here. I called their tech support, and they agreed that the problem was defective memory slots. To make matters worse, evidently I bought the last one from Newegg (it is now Out of Stock), so I couldn't get a replacement. I couldn't return it either really, because I had already opened my AMD CPUs so they couldn't be returned, and I didn't have any use for 4 AMD CPUs without this particular motherboard (usually I would buy Intel CPUs -- I made an exception for this particular motherboard). Having said all my gripes about this board, it is still running great with just 3/4 CPUs and 24/32 memory slots. I've got it with 192 GB memory. Probably not the most cost effective way to get 192 GB -- it would have been a real great deal if I could have gotten 256 GB like I originally planned (all the parts totaled about $4000, if only the motherboard wasn't defective!). Please, don't waste your time on this board. It is too good to be true. The 32 slots seems to usually not all work. Hopefully the motherboard stays out of stock so nobody else gets stuck with another one of these defective boards.
