Plays Regular Blurays fine

LG Ultra Slim Portable Blu-ray / DVD Writer - UHD Ready and M-DISC Support (BP60NB10)
LG Ultra Slim Portable Blu-ray / DVD Writer - UHD Ready and M-DISC Support (BP60NB10)

Pros: -Includes Bluray player software. -Plays Blurays fine

Cons: -Included software is several years out of date -It's basically impossible to play 4K Bluray disks on my computer because it doesn't detect Intel SGX (even after turning on in BIOS) and it wants me to use my HDMI port to connect my ultrawide display for HDCP 2.2, but then my monitor will run 50 Hz).

Overall Review: It's ok I guess, but trying to use it to play 4K disks is too much hassle.

Good bang for the buck

Hanns·G HG-281DPB Black 28" 3ms Widescreen LCD HDMI Monitor 500 cd/m2 800:1 Built-in Speakers
Hanns·G HG-281DPB Black 28" 3ms Widescreen LCD HDMI Monitor 500 cd/m2 800:1 Built-in Speakers

Pros: -Clear display at 1920x1200 using HDMI. No unexpected visual issues there. -Fast response. -Great if viewed straight. Displays bright colors well. -Swivel & tilt base.

Cons: -No DVI input. -The screen would flicker when I used the analog input (VGA/HD15) -Darks are hard to distinguish. Makes dark scenes in games a little more difficult. Maybe next time I'll go for a display with a higher contrast ratio next time -Could be brighter. It's brighter than my old 17" Samsung, but dimmer than my TV and laptop. -The colors get distorted when you don't view it straight on like on the pre active matrix LCD displays.

Overall Review: -Haven't tested the component input. -Overall I'm happy with my purchase. It's a mid quality massive (28") display priced to compete with high quality large (24") displays.
