Not the greatest overclocker

AMD Athlon X4 860K - Athlon X4 Kaveri Quad-Core 3.7 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W Desktop Processor (BLACK EDITION) - AD860KXBJABOX
AMD Athlon X4 860K - Athlon X4 Kaveri Quad-Core 3.7 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W Desktop Processor (BLACK EDITION) - AD860KXBJABOX

Pros: If you're gaming on a budget, this is a must see CPU. It has a low cost and fairly high performance. I have it running with an R9 270 and 16gb 2133 RAM. I have no major complaints with it from a gaming standpoint, it shreds through most games on High/Ultra without a hitch.

Cons: Overclockability is pretty weak. I can get this 100% stable at 4.2ghz, but anything higher gets unstable. I ran it at 4.3ghz for a while but the system would lock up once every couple of days and I didn't want to raise the voltage much higher. Hopefully the Godavari 870k will overclock better.

Overall Review: I personally will be upgrading to the Godavari Athlon x4 870k when it is released. While this is a solid chip, I just want to upgrade to the newest and best FM2+ chip when the time comes. I have been playing The Witcher 3 extensively on this chip at 4.2GHz and a MSI R9 270 with a mixture of High and Ultra settings @ 1080P with Hairworks Disabled. I am seeing a very steady 40-45 FPS with the occasional 35 in highly populated areas and 60+ in caves and out in the wilderness. I would highly recommend this chip to a budget gamer.

Sure beats having no fans

Rosewill 120mm Case Fan 4-Pack, Long Life Sleeve Bearing Computer Case Fan ROCF-13001, Ultra Quiet Computer Cooling Fan 4 Pack 120 mm Standard Case Fan
Rosewill 120mm Case Fan 4-Pack, Long Life Sleeve Bearing Computer Case Fan ROCF-13001, Ultra Quiet Computer Cooling Fan 4 Pack 120 mm Standard Case Fan

Pros: -Cheap -Reliable -Great for low end PCs

Cons: -Loud -Bad airflow to noise ratio

Overall Review: If you're looking for a pack of reliable case fans for a low budget PC, this is a good choice. I originally added 3 to my case and 1 to my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo heatsink for a push/pull configuration but the noise was unbearable without a fan controller so I eliminated them.

Excellent monitor with some minor physical build issues.

Nixeus EDG 27" IPS (AHVA) 2560 x 1440 4ms (GTG) AMD FreeSync Certified 144Hz Gaming Monitor (NX-EDG27 v2)
Nixeus EDG 27" IPS (AHVA) 2560 x 1440 4ms (GTG) AMD FreeSync Certified 144Hz Gaming Monitor (NX-EDG27 v2)

Pros: -Coming from a TN panel, this IPS panel with some minor tweaking is gorgeous. -144hz FreeSync is a dream. -1440p is more demanding but it was worth it because I sit close enough to my monitor that I notice a difference.

Cons: -OSD layout is a nightmare to navigate. The buttons displayed on the OSD and the labels on the physical buttons don't match up. It was really confusing at first. -The build is less premium than much more expensive brands, which is completely acceptable considering the price differences. However the casing for the panel on the top side doesn't close together cleanly and my panel is slightly pushed in on the bottom right corner.

Overall Review: -The stand is kind of cheaply made and it's not easy to make fine adjustments. For example, when adjusting the tilt I end up very easily raising or lowering the monitors height on accident. -The speakers are exactly what you'd expect from monitor integrated speakers. They work well enough for basic tasks like notifications or YouTube, but don't expect to have a pleasant experience trying to listen to music or game with them.

SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 380X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Dual-X OC Version w/ backplate (UEFI) Video Card 100383NTOCL

Pros: Handles 1080p 60fps on most games on High or Ultra settings, depending on the game. Mine overclocked well and stays below 78c at full load. Quiet.

Cons: A bit expensive (I paid $236). These days you're better off with an RX 480 at this price range.

Overall Review: I regret not waiting a few more months and getting the RX 480 due to price.

Great money saver

Cons: None
