Pros: Supposed good specs
Cons: Poor quality RAM slots
Overall Review: Board has 8 RAM slots but #3 slot (C1) is bad so out of 8 slots can only use 2.
Easy to work with
Cons: No USB ports on the front
No reset button
Bad SATA backplane (If you hot-swap a disk all disks installed will fail). Do not hot swap the drives!
2 x 10Gbe
Up to 128GB ECC RAM
Cons: Hot - If you do not actively cool the CPU it will overheat
Cannot boot from NVMe M.2, only SATA M.2
Front USB 3.0 header would be good
BIOS does not have health/temp information
Cannot flash BIOS without DOS boot disk
Overall Review: Only thing I did not expect was not being able to boot from NVMe, but really not too big of a deal.
3 of these and a 10Gbe switch and you have a monster lab ready to go!
Pros: Easy to install. No problems at all so far, 8 months. Fast SSD speeds.
Cons: Had the same issue as the other 1 eggers. Until was installed and worked fine for about 3 weeks, then during the day just died and now does not power on at all.
Overall Review: Do you backups.
Pros: Cheap, Quiet, GPU built in
Would be good for HTPC or Grandma's computer
Cons: CPU shipped from Newegg does not support Rapid Virtualization Indexing. Newer batches of this CPU do support this feature, but it seems that Newegg is shipping old versions that did not support RVI. Basically this CPU is useless to me.
