This will not fit on a newer Asus X5709/2/2021 7:55:30 AM

Cons: It cannot be attached.

Overall Review: This will not attach to a newer X570 board without an upgrade kit that is not available. Others advise taking of the backplate but that should not be done. It prevents board warping.

Very good, high quality drive.8/28/2017 5:31:08 AM

Pros: I have purchased and installed 12 of these in the last 7 months. None have been DOA; all are working fine though time will tell. I have always been a fan of Seagate drives because historically I have had great luck with them.

Cons: Quite slow compared to SSD (see below)

Overall Review: I build a lot of machines for general office use, and in that environment Office 365 and dropbox are my target. I have been installing the OS on a 250G Intel SSD drives and only installing these segate drives as the "cache" for dropbox. This setup has been very popular because it boots in seconds, logs quickly and applications pop while still having the capacity for lots of files without shelling out for a large SSD. That said, this is a very reliable drive for this purpose.

Exactly as it's described.8/28/2017 5:20:01 AM

Pros: Nice quick processor for the money. Embedded video is great.

Cons: There are no cons. I would not use this for gaming, I'd use an i7 with a separate video card. But for running visual studio and building code for work, it's great.

Overall Review: I have not yet tried it with a 4K monitor.

Generally like asus but not this one8/27/2017 7:03:24 AM

Pros: I have built hundreds of computers. I generally like ASUS mobos. They are typically rock solid and just work and for gaming set a pretty high mark.

Cons: 1. The network drivers from the CD cannot find the hardware and will fail to install. There is a hotfix available on ASUS's website, if you can get it to download from their horribly slow site. However, to run the hotfix, you need to have a registered version of windows, which you cannot have until you get it on the network. So you are stuck unless you happen to have another network adapter handy. 2. The drivers install CD is more of an advertisement player than a drivers cd. It should not take 20 minutes to install drivers when it took only 10 to install all of windows. Hey google? do believe it's effective advertising when the presentation method is just annoying people? All and all I'd avoid this particular mobo until they can get all this worked out.
