Pros: Good drive and good capacity for price
SiSoftware gave it respectable benchmark scores with 200+ mb/s read benchmark
So far has been working perfectly fine
Cons: First drive came DOA; logic board was messed up but recieved a new one very quickly from newegg within a week.
Pros: Not a bad price for a capable graphic card; running it in an older machine posted respectable benchmarks on 3DMark. Its roughly 30-50% slower than the 650 Ti.
Good cooling, software with it was great.
Cons: Didn't work with MSI 990FXA-GD80V2 AM3+ Motherboard. The motherboard kept posting a 99 debug code and wouldn't allow the system to boot. But the card worked perfectly fine in my Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AM3+ and my Asus M3N-HT Deluxe/mempipe motherboard. Placing a Quadro FX 4500 and geforce 650 Ti in the MSI board and it worked just fine. This video card will simply not work, after flashing bios for motherboard and legacy bios for the video card I gave up.
It's roughly half a Geforce 650 Ti, which is only $30-40 more so getting this card unless on a tight budget wouldn't be satisfactory
Overall Review: This is my first MSI Graphic card and I wasn't exactly pleased with it simply not working in an MSI board. The problem could possible have something to do with the UEFI GOP but I stopped there as theres nothing I can do more if the legacy bios don't work.
Pros: Good sounds, comfortable and good controls.
Cons: Wire within the headset must have been faulty or lose, after about 2-3 months the sound began getting funky and cutting out, only if you wiggled the wire near the headset could you get it to work right. It would be an easy fix, but theres almost now way to take these things apart other than breaking them open with a hammer.
Pros: Controls for everything is on the top, which works out nicely since my computer setup sits right below me.
Very nice cooling, it has a total of 4 fans that come with the case, you can buy additional 3 more fans for the side top and front. It has a nice emphasis on cooling harddrives and improving airflow around the processor heatsink with its massive top fans.
Sleek and stylish, plenty of room and easy to use HD slot holders and cd rom (etc) locking.
Cons: The finish is prone to fingerprints and smudges. Only con i can think of. The set screws for the PCI slots were tough to initially unscrew but are fine now.
Overall Review: I personally bought this case for a special Hatsune theme computer case. This being black and teal/green its going to work nicely once I send it off to get painted. I also do heavy overclocking so the airflow is nice and option of upgrading to water cooling is there for the future.
Pros: Runs at the rated speed and timings (1066Mhz 5-5-5-15-24-2T)
Stays pretty cool, and runs like a dream on my system.
Reliable, even when overclocking.
Currently running this ram at...
(Who can't resist Platinum heat sinks too?)
Cons: Having to manually go into the BIOS and set the voltage to the memory, then manually setting the MHZ to 1066 can be a pain for some people. And some mobo's my have problems upping the voltage.
Overall Review: Very difficult to get it to run 1T Command Rate (CR) I was only able to get it at around 800mhz or a little higher, but timings have to loosened as well. tRC timing doesn't like to high 4 and below at 1000mhz+ rating as well.
