Pros: Default configuration worked out of the box Enabling XMP increased voltage and timings automatically
Overall Review: Ryzen 5950X keeping up with FCLK change Fit fine paired with Noctua NH-D15
Perfect
Pros: Easily connects to network and discovered by MythTV setup promptly. Channel selection was new to me but got the unencrypted local HD channels recording from the cable line. The power transformer is small (guessing about 2x1x1inches) and fits nicely in the power strip with other plugs.
Cons: None, working as advertised.
Overall Review: This has been running for over 6 months as part of my MythTV setup flawlessly. I am extremely happy with this, partly surprised the network concept works so well. I've never experienced a need to restart the device. A friend has been using this for a few years with over-the-air signals. I delayed my purchase about a year thinking the HDPVR would fit my need better -- wish I hadn't waited.
Refurbished product received well packaged
Delivery was great. Product exactly as advertised with correct specs. Runs great. But this refurbished product has screen damage that that has two bright spots (damaged from thumbs on screen?) that is barley tolerable to me, but I will not be gifting this as planned. Would prefer better quality control. Will be limiting future purchases.
Good condition
Product arrived quickly and in good condition. Some outer stickers gave appearance something was resealed, but didn't notice any issues with product and accessories.
