Gigabyte Quality

GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This is my third Gigabyte board, the other 2 are AMD; and like them it works flawlessly. I wanted an upgrade path to Wolfdale core and this was a nice start. I'm running an E4300 O/C'd to 2.4 GHz with 3 Gig A-Data 800 MHz RAM, 8500GT, 320GB & 160 WD SATA Drives. Not a single issue in the install. Board has been rock steady since I got it a month ago.

Cons: Updating BIOS to F5 version floating around on the net helped a lot with the overclock. Prior to that, like others have said, it would not hold after re-boot.

Overall Review: Buy this board. If you don't want the energy savings stuff interfering with your O/C, just disable it in BIOS and don't install the software. Simple. Great board, low price, great value. What's to think about? Dual booting Vista Home Premium x64 & Windows XP Pro x64 using AHCI and both run without a hitch. Newegg service & shipping were eggcelent (sorry...) as usual!

Awesome Graphics Card!

EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC Ultra GAMING, 06G-P4-2067-KR, 6GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans

Pros: Runs nice and cool and it actually fit in my 12 year old Raidmax Smilodon mid-tower case. Incredible graphics power. One of each port makes connecting to most anything a breeze. Only uses one PCIe power connector and doesn't draw gigawatts of power.

Cons: None

Overall Review: This is the most I've ever paid for a graphics card, but since I rebuilt my rig with a 9600K i5 and new MSI Z390 motherboard I thought an upgrade from my GTX960 was in order too. I don't regret the price though. I really can't say much about it's true gaming capabilities since I use it for Prepar3d 4.5, but my frames in that went from 33 fps to 60 fps using a dual 27" monitor setup, with the cockpit on one and an external view on the other, flying the PMDG 747-8. If I only use the cockpit view I'm seeing close to 90 fps. Absolutely no stuttering or lag even with both monitors going. Now it's like you can actually reach out and touch the clouds, and thunderstorms look incredible and very lifelike. I was pretty happy with my GTX960, but this thing blows it away.

It's a cable. It works as advertised.

Rosewill HDMI Pro-3 – 3-Foot Black High Speed HDMI Cable with 3D & 4K Supported, 10.2 Gbps Transfer Rate - Male to Male
Rosewill HDMI Pro-3 – 3-Foot Black High Speed HDMI Cable with 3D & 4K Supported, 10.2 Gbps Transfer Rate - Male to Male

Pros: Easy to use. Only needed the 3 foot one because it's connected from my PC to one of my 27" monitors. Provides a good connection and colors are crisp and clear.

Cons: A little on the stiff side but hopefully that means it'll last longer since it's thicker gauge.

Overall Review: I'd definitely recommend this product; it's cheap and it works.

Western Digital Quality

Western Digital Scorpio Black WD1600BEKT 160GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Scorpio Black WD1600BEKT 160GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: This is my first WD laptop hard drive and I have to say it is every bit as good as their desktop drives. Faster load times, faster file transfers, no hotter than 5400 rpm drive it replaced, and no vibration - totally silent. Newegg as always!! I've spent a ton of $$ with Newegg and have never had a bad experience.

Cons: None. Not even price; I got it when it was on sale for $47.99 with free shipping.

Overall Review: Replaced Seagate 320 GB 5400 rpm drive in new Gateway laptop. I'd rather have the speed than the storage capacity, besides I don't trust Seagate drives. Installed Win 7 RC x64 on it and it boots and runs beautifully. 320 GB drive got relegated to external case and I can still use as backup storage if I really need it. Newegg Rocks!

Awesome Deal

Gateway Laptop AMD Athlon X2 QL-64 (2.10GHz) 4GB Memory 320GB HDD ATI Radeon HD 3200 15.6" Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit NV5215u
Gateway Laptop AMD Athlon X2 QL-64 (2.10GHz) 4GB Memory 320GB HDD ATI Radeon HD 3200 15.6" Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit NV5215u

Pros: As stated above, ATI graphics far superior to Intel 4500HD. I also bought this at BB for the same price. In the week I've had it it's run beautifully. I've tried Windows 7 on it, now I'm back to Vista H.P.. Win 7 boots and runs faster. Will put Win7 back on when my W.D. 7200 rpm hard drive arrives tomorrow.

Cons: Yes, the track pad button bar thingy is kinda wierd. I'm using a Logitech cordless mouse with it; much better. Seagate hard drive. Matter of preference I guess but I just don't trust Seagate drives. I've had several of them give up after short periods of time, so I'm now a die hard Western Digital guy; and that's what's going in it.

Overall Review: This is my first new laptop in about 6 years. I've never had a use for one really, but I'm in school now so needed one. Wanted one for under $600 and this one had the best specs for the $$. Like I said, it's been running great the week I've had it. It will do everything I'll ever need it to do, and if not I've got 14 desktop computers to choose from at home that will. Overall a great buy. Don't hesitate!

Good Board

Foxconn 975X7AB-8EKRS2H LGA 775 Intel 975X ATX Intel CrossFire Motherboard
Foxconn 975X7AB-8EKRS2H LGA 775 Intel 975X ATX Intel CrossFire Motherboard

Pros: An amazing array of ports & connections. Awesome collection of included accessories (round cables, USB/1394 connections, top quality i/o shield). I know board is made for Cross Fire, but I'm an Nvidia fan boy, so it has a single 8500GT. Just wanted this board for a cheap os x86 install capable of 4 or more gigs of RAM. Newegg!!

Cons: Manual overclocking through BIOS is definitely not for beginners. Even then, still limited abilities, even with newest BIOS. Slow POST times - I'm attributing to Digital PWM, not sure, just a hunch. Northbridge heatsink fan sometimes gets a little loud.

Overall Review: Flawless Kalyway 10.5.2 install with this board, E4300 O/C'd to 2.2 GHz, 4 Gigs A-Data DDR2 800, 8500GT O/C'd edition, WD 320 Gig SATA, Pioneer IDE DVD-RW. Also have Vista H.P. x64 on WD 160 Gig SATA. WEI scored a solid 5, with hard drive at 5.6. Overall a great deal for the $59 I paid for it, though noticed it just went to $99.
