Good small desktop
Pros: Not too loud when all cores are running 100%. No bloatware, just HP business software which I don't need for personal use and I removed after careful research.
Cons: The spec shows an SD card reader, but my unit does not have it. The photo shows an HDMI port, but my unit does not have it. It has three DisplayPorts.
Overall Review: Good enough for my needs. I wish it had Wifi/Bluetooth.
Very good touchpad but poor keyboard and poor display
Pros: The touchpad is very good and responsive. The Chrome OS gestures are almost as good as a Macbook. The charger is compact. Both chromebook and charger are very light.
Cons: The keyboard feels bad and sometimes a keystroke doesn't register. The display has bad viewing angles depending on the ambient light. The bottom is too slippery for holding in your hands. I fixed it with grip tape in the areas I touch.
Pros: Inexpensive. Good sound quality.
Cons: The AC cord is too short. The other cords are awkwardly arranged.
Overall Review: Delivery time was excellent. The OEM box was inside a bigger box filled with styrofoam peanuts so it was well-protected, but the OEM box had a long cut on one side, like it was slashed by a box cutter. There was no damage to the contents of the OEM box, but I was alarmed when I saw the slash.
Canceling my order should have been easier
I ordered the item Saturday morning. On Sunday morning I changed my mind and canceled the order. On Monday afternoon the order was shipped. I had to RMA and return the unopened box. That's a lot of wasted effort.
