Pros: Keeps my laptop nice and cool. Fan noise is minimal.
Cons: After I shut down my laptop and turn off the cooling pad it usually turns itself back on after about 10 to 15 seconds requiring me to turn it off AGAIN. Occasionally it will turn itself on a second time after initial shutdown. Very weird.
Overall Review: Overall it soes a good job of cooloing my laptop. I have an HP Omen gaming laptop. Intel 6 Core I7 processor. I'd recommend it in spite of the "weirdness" of it turning itself on.
Pros: It was reasonably easy to assemble. It came with the tools necessary to do the job. It took about 1 hour to assemble using my screw gun. It will take a bit longer if you use the tools supplied. The pads used for feet are adjustable so you can level it and prevent it from "rocking". It looks good in my utility room but if you have "high end" exspensive furniture in the room it might look a bit "cheap" in comparison.
Cons: There are 2 DIFFERENT length screws supplied. Be careful to use the correct length screws in their designated locations as the longer screws if used to secure the shelves or the desk's top will poke through the surface. Unfortunately for me, there were 3 long screws mixed in the bag with the short screws and I have 2 small holes in the lower shelf as a result. Check the screw length before installing them - don't assume that all the screws in the package are all the correct length as labeled like I did.
Overall Review: Overall I would would definitely recommend this desk. It's fairly heavy and quite sturdy. It's a great deal at the regular price and an even better deal when on sale. I got mine as a Shell Shoccker deal last week for less. Sweet!
Pros: There are no pros to these pieces of junk unless using them as a paper weight counts.
Cons: Constantly disconnects from any device I've tried them on. If they stay connected for 5 minutes I feel lucky. Left earbud cuts in and out every 15 to 20 seconds when they are connected to a device.
Overall Review: DO NOT waste your money on these. But something else. I DO NOT recommend.
Pros: The picture quality is pretty good. It boots up relatively fast, It's light weight, it has a very narrow screen border and it works great as a PC monitor.
Cons: The speakers are terrible. They are really awful. They sound tinny and adjusting the equalizer doesn't help. The only option for external speaker hook-up is via "optical audio output".
Overall Review: Unless you plan on using this as a PC monitor you'll probably be happy. If you plan on using it as a TV, I can't recommend this.
Pros: Metal shell keeps it protected. It's small . It has a loop shape so you can put it on a key ring.
Cons: It's EXTREMELY SLOW for both uploading /downloading and opening/playing files. You can only add files to the "protected" folder. The software for the password protection is a pain to use (if you close the window and need to reopen it you have to run the software and enter your password again even if you haven't disconnected it from the computer. (This may be a good thing for some people, but not for me). You CAN NOT access file properties when they are in the protected folder. There is no protective cap for the USB end of the drive, which will no doubt allow dirt/dust buildup over time and possibly prevent a good connection.
Overall Review: Although it works well at protecting your files the negatives far outweigh the postive.
I WOULD NOT recommend this drive! The ONLY reason I am not returning it is because I ordered the 64GB version, but I got a 128GB drive in a 64GB package by mistake and at this price point it's not worth returning it. (In other words I'll put up with the negatives because of the increased capacity)
Pros: Great for streaming! Omni directional sound pickup. Very low hiss, wow and flutter. Clear voice transmission.
Overall Review: Recommend
Pros: Very quiet. Fast Read/Write Speed. A great value!
Cons: Included cable could be longer but not a deal breaker.
Overall Review: Highly recommended!
Pros: I own 5 of these (5TB) and they ALL work flawlessly. Inexspensive external storage. Very quiet operation. Fast Read/Write speeds depending on your PC's capabilities.
Cons: Included cable could have been a bit longer
Overall Review: Higjly recommended!
Pros: None. Really.
Cons: The entire handle vibrates, not just the brush end. Feels uncomfortable in your hand. It makes your whole mouth VIBRATE during use - VERY, VERY uncomfortable
Overall Review: TOTAL TRASH! Don't even think about buying this unless you like feeling your teeth rattle while brushing them.
Pros: Connectors fit nice and snug. Cable is quite flexible. Cloth wrapped for an asthetically pleasing look.
Overall Review: Highly recommend!
Pros: Anti vibration rubber feet. Works horizontal or vertical. Moves a good amount of air. Has decent suction power if you're using it to evacuate air. Nice long cord. The additional USB port is quite handy (not for data just for power - you can plug your phone in and charge it from this port). Multi-speed inline switch.
Cons: Could be quieter but not really all that loud.
Overall Review: I would recommend this.
Pros: Smallest External USB SSD I've ever seen!! Works FANTASTIC! No heat issues. Plug & play.
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this drive
Pros: I have several of these. They all work fantastic! I just ordered 5 more.
They seem to have very low power consumption.
Although I didn't benchmark any of these, they all seem to have quite fast Read/Write speeds.
Cons: The supplied USB cable is a bit short. (Not worth subtracting an egg for it though)
Overall Review: Highly recommended for a totally portable storage experience.
Pros: This breathed new life into my 2 year old Lenovo Y-50 Laptop. Win 7 64 Bit boots to home screen in about 12 seconds. Shutdown time is about 9 seconds. All my game frame rates increased by at least 20% after installing this.
Cons: None so far! (been using it for about 9 months)
Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone looking to replace an existing HDD, SSHD or SSD.
It should also be a great drive for a new build.
I wish it was still in stock and on sale for 285 bucks again
Pros: Quite fast for 8 year old technology. Easily upgraded to the latest Mac OS (High Sierra). Mine came with 4 GB memory not 2 GB as advertised. I also got an 80 GB SSD instead of the advertised 250 GB HDD so boot & program (apps) loading time is quite fast. Physical condition is quite good - the lid has very minor scratches that you need to look carefully at to see them. Track pad works great. Keyboard looks like new as does the palm rest areas. The underside cover has a few deep scratches, but it's the underside so who really cares. Battery lasts about 4 hours or so during normal usage. DVD drive can be removed so you can add a second HDD or SSD in it's place - just use an external USB DVD drive/burner if you must have that capability. Screen is bright & shows accurate colors.
Cons: Only has 2 USB ports (4 would have been nice) The screen has a very slight blemish about 4 inches long near the top right side but it's barely noticeable unless you actually look for it. There 1/4 inch minor cracks on the left & right side of the hinge area but the hinges work perfect regardless so really not an issue. It's now available for 20 bucks less with the promo code then when I purchased mine.
Overall Review: I plan on upgrading the 80 GB SSD to a 500 GB Samsung EVO SSD in the near future so I can retain the DVD drive/burner and have more storage space. I would definitely recommend this machine! Never had a Mac before because they were too expensive? Well this is a GREAT first Mac!!
Pros: Compact (about half the size of a soda can) Pretty red anodized color. Has a cut out on the underside to store a full size SD card adapter to store your TF card. Capable of LOUD volume! Better sound quality than my iPhone 5s speaker. Pairs easily with all of my Bluetooth devices. It was FREE after rebate!!
Cons: Title of item says "Speakers" (plural) so I assumed I was getting 2 of these in a set. WRONG! You get ONLY ONE :-( Uses a proprietary USB Combo Cable so don't lose it - I have no idea how you'd get a replacement cable. Lacks any significant amount of bass - a bit tinny sounding actually. Included instructions claim you can daisy - chain 2 or more but doesn't tell you how. Uses a 1 mm mic input jack. Red LED indicates when it's charging but stays on even after fully charged.
Overall Review: For those of you looking to hook this up via cable you use the proprietary cable's jack. No manual - instructions are printed on the box in VERY fine print - have a magnifying glass handy to read them. At this price point I recommend it especially if the rebate is still on. You can't go wrong for FREE!
Pros: Newegg shipping was quick & it arrived physically undamaged. It turns on and it will run programs (they take EXCESSIVE time to load though). Screen is crisp and clear. Decent battery life (4 to 6 hours normal use, 1 1/2 to 2 hours MAX while gaming).
Cons: Takes FOREVER to boot (like almost 4 minutes). There is NO 8GB SSD. It comes with one hard drive only, a 1TB "HYBRID" drive with an 8GB solid state cache. On boot the drive goes to 100% usage and STAYS at 100% for up to 10 minutes after it reaches the desktop causing excessive loading times for programs and it lags until the HYBRID drive settles down and goes to 2% usage at idle. 8GB RAM is NOT enough memory for most games to play well. Runs EXCESSIVELY HOT!! I have a 4 fan cooling pad under this & it still overheats when gaming. Dual graphics configuration is a joke & you can't disable that feature. Lenovo support never answers emails or phone calls (Really Lenovo?). There is no way to turn off the keyboard lights to help extend battery life. Internal wireless card died after 7 months. Ethernet port internet speeds are slow as molasses in the winter. BIOS has no overclocking capabilities. No access panels for upgrades - it must be disassembled to change any components. BTW my first one came DOA. This review is for the RMA replacement I received. Lenovo needs to wake up!!
Overall Review: This was my WORST computer purchase EVER! Considering the price point, this laptop should fly - IT DOESN"T!! I should have just used the 10 one hundred dollar bills I spent on this to light cigars lol, I would have had more satisfaction doing that. I DO NOT recommend this product to ANYONE. STAY AWAY! BUY SOMETHING ELSE!
Pros: Sound quality is amazing for the price. Noise cancellation is quite good (filters out an easy 90% of ambient noise). Volume control on the ear cup shell. Can turn noise cancelling on or off. Nice carrying case included. Small compact design. Reasonably light weight & comfortable to wear. Fully adjustable headband. Sturdy construction.
Cons: Bass at high volume is a bit muddy - not terrible, just a bit of distortion. Needs 2 AAA batteries to operate the noise cancelling feature even when plugged in to my computer.
Overall Review: I'm quite happy with these headphones. They easily compare to much higher priced brands. 15 bucks & free shipping - a no-brainer! I recommend these to anyone.
Pros: IPS panel. Amazing color quality. Perfect size for your desk. Low power consumption. Plenty of adjustments, so you can tune it to your liking. Sturdy base, nicely stable on my desk. Has VESA mount capabilities. Full HD. Mine came NEW in a factory sealed box!
Cons: None for me!
Overall Review: I cloned this to my 40" Sceptre LED HD TV using the DVI-D input & it works flawlessly. This stays on 24/7 and it's been 5 months - never had an issue. I'd recommend this monitor unless you need direct HDMI or Display port inputs (but you could use a 5 buck adapter to HDMI if necessary).
Pros: 800 mAh & 2100 charge cycles. Great shelf life when fully charged. They last a long time in my devices before they need recharging.
Overall Review: Highly recommended! If you use a lot of AAA batteries, you will save a TON of money over time.
Pros: This is an amazing kit! Batteries have GREAT shelf life when fully charged. Batteries run my devices for a long time without needing recharging. The charger works FINE! (ignore the review by anonymous about the charger) Additional spacers ARE available (once again ignore the review by anonymous). This kit will save you a TON of money if you use a lot of batteries. These are the BEST rechargeable batteries I have ever owned. Very happy with this kit.
Overall Review: Why do people who do not know what they are talking about write reviews? Need a nice case for this kit? Go to the local cigar store & ask them for an empty wooden cigar box (they throw them out anyway, so you'll get it for free). Besides, you'll probably have the batteries installed in your devices & the charger plugged in charging batteries, so do you really need a fancy case to drive up the price?
Pros: Price! (got on sale for 7 bucks) Reasonably comfortable to wear. Nice soft ear cup padding. Good sound quality at "normal" listening volumes. Adjustable headband. 6 foot cord gives a lot of maneuvering room.
Cons: They don't block out external sounds completely. Ear cups cut be a bit larger in diameter. Some sound distortion at louder volumes.
Overall Review: A great headset considering price point. Great for those on a budget. I'm very happy overall with my purchase. I'd recommend these for an average PC/Laptop/Mac user. Will probably buy another pair or 2 to give as gifts.
Pros: Looks nice & sleek. Red & black color scheme is pleasing to the eye.
Cons: This is an unknown brand amongst the R/C crowd. Replacement parts hard to find at reasonable prices.
Overall Review: Go with known brand names in R/C cars such as Traxxas & Losi that have replacement parts readily available. The Traxxas Rustler is a very similar R/C car & will outperform this at about the same price point.
Pros: Price & physical condition - but who cares if it doesn't work??
Cons: OS corrupted. No pre installed software for webcam, fingerprint reader or USB ports. HDD no good. Could not reinstall OS. Had to RMA for refund. If 1 out of 20 of these are actually good, it's a miracle! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS REFURBISHED GARBAGE!! Would have given ) eggs if it was a choice. Total junk.
Overall Review: Shame on you Newegg for selling this piece of junk through your Newegg Marketplace
Pros: Awesome price! ($25 on sale) Fully programmable keys. Backlit keypad capable of different colors or none at all. Large wasd keys.
Cons: wasd keys are black unlike my older Merc Zboard which has the gaming keys in red. Heavier than earlier models, so not as easy to handle, but the weight helps keep it from moving around so it may not totally be a "con".
Overall Review: Overall a nice board with a good feel to it. There may be better out there, but regardless of their reviews, I think this board is the best of them all. I would recommend to all, especially if you find it on sale for $25!
