Pros: Plays every game on highest settings no problem in 1080p.
Get 7.9 in Windows experience index
Overclocking is really easy and stable, eVGA precision X is really nice.
If you change the fan control with precision x, this card can blow crazy amount of air.
I have not seen any tearing at all with adaptive vsync and get very high fps.
Looks awesome with the back-plate, which also helps dissipate heat.
Very efficient card
I ordered directly from eVGA and the box was slightly damaged from shipping, but the packaging that the card comes in is soft foam so the card had no damage at all.
Cons: Costs $50 more than the reference card, but it looks better and had a heat dissipating back-plate so it is worth it.
Overall Review: My system setup:
i7-3770k OC@4.6GHz 1.330V
Asus ROG Maximus V Gene Z77
eVGA GTX 680 SC+ Signature w/backplate
16Gb Corsair Vengeance 2200MHz 9-10-10-24
RAID0 Dual 128Gb Samsung 830 ssd's
Pros: Put two of these in RAID 0 and 1300MB/s sequential read and 660MB/s sequential write. Gets 7.9 in windows 7. Slightly thinner than normal ssd.
Pros: Currently running at 4.6 GHz with 1.330V.
It is steady as a rock.
Very nice overclocking and integrated graphics are powerful!
Cons: Does not get 7.9 in windows 7 even with 4.6 GHz overclock.
Overall Review: While waiting for my video card to arrive in the mail, I tried playing starcraft 2 on low settings in 1080p. I was very surprised; I was getting an average of about 140 fps!
Pros: Overclocks like a beast
LED's look good
SOOO many features and customization of hardware settings
small form factor
Pros: Runs i7-3770k OC@4.6GHz and 1.330V and gtx 680 with plenty of power to spare if I ever want to add another gtx 680.
The LED's look pretty nice
Cons: Not rated at 80 plus gold
Pros: Not very expensive compared to custom loops and you never have to do maintenance. Also comes with very good warranty. The fans are really powerful but a little noisy. It is also not very much more expensive than high performance air coolers, but exhausts the heat outside the case instead of the cpu area, lowering temps of all other components as well.
Overall Review: I am currently running i7 3770k OC@4.6GHz and 1.330V on ROG Maximus V Gene z77. Idle temps are around 34C and full load with prime95 gets temps up to about 75C.
Pros: -Solid construction
-Looks awesome and very professional
-Plenty of room
-Cable management is very good
Cons: USB 3.0 front panel has cables that run out the back and into the i/o panel taking up ports. Easily solved but this should be a usb 3.0 header to plug directly into the motherboard. I am sure an updated case will come out soon.
Overall Review: After reading some negative reviews I was slightly worried but once I got it I was completely relieved. This case is awesome and very high quality. I originally got a 300R but decided that I wanted the extra space and the side panel window. I am very pleased with my decision.
Pros: Used this to plug the usb 3.0 cables on the corsair 650D into the motherboard header so that the cables are not coming out the back and take up extra ports. worked great.
Pros: does what it is suppped to
Overall Review: Not sure why larger cases do not come standard with this or why power supplies do not add on about 6 inches to the power cables
Pros: Awesome that it is 140mm fan but mounts on 120mm mounts. Blows a lot of air for the price and is very quite.
Cons: Cable is not sleeved or black.
Overall Review: Installed it in a corsair 650D and it reduced temps by noticeable amount.
Pros: Very fast
Scores 7.9 in windows 7
Not much more expensive then lower speed ram
Red heat sink looks awesome
Bought 2 kits and both passed memtest86+
Cons: X.M.P. Profile did not work for me
Overall Review: I am running on asus rog maximus v gene z77 mobo and the xmp profile found by my board was not what the specs on the ram say, nor does the xmp profile work. But manually setting the speed and timings worked fine. I am running rock stable with i7 3770k OC@4.6GHz and the ram timings set to 9-10-10-24. Really fast!
Pros: This is the most fun game I have ever played, hands down. I was not a gamer until I got into SC2. This is the only have I have ever been able to play for more than about 30 hours and not get bored. The entire SC2 community is awesome.
Overall Review: Get it.
