Pros: Cheap, good timings, nice heat spreaders.
Cons: They weren't free.....
Overall Review: Never heard of Team Elite, gave them a try and was presently surprised.
Pros: Sleek Look
2 USB Ports and audio on the front
Cons: Expansion slot brackets are flimsy.
Overall Review: Expansion slot brackets are flimsy and should be removed before Mobo is installed because if you don't remove them and you try to do it when the Mobo is installed you might damage it. This is a small issue that is avoidable if you look over the case before installing the mobo. Other than that, couldn't be happier with this case, looks good, runs kool and quiet.
Pros: Quad Core Capable
8 GB of RAM Max
4 SATA Connections
ATI Radeon HD 4200
Overall Review: For the $$$, not a better board out there. AMD Athlon II X4 620 and 4 GB of DDR2, 750 GB Hard Drive and this thing is a beast. Couldn't be happier with this Mobo.
Pros: - Solid, Sturdy Card
- Nice Antenna
- Well Packed
- Linux and Windows Drivers
- $10 Shipped
Cons: - Range could be slightly better, but is good overall, for $10 you can't beat it
Overall Review: Installed three of these in old 500 Mhz boxes running absolute linux and there were auto detected and worked right away. Range is a bit better in Windows than linux, but I am totally happy overall. Best $10 wireless card you can buy, I highly recommend it.
Pros: Excellent Processor, worth every penny. Very well priced processor with good performance. Great for your first quad core or your 10th.
Overall Review: The heat sink is poorly designed, the clamps are less then ideal, but it is not a con if you install it in a shuttle with the ICE Cooling system.
Pros: Great space saving box, for the money I don't think you can buy a better case. The ICE Cooling system is outstanding, the box is whisper quiet and proc temps are around 30 degrees. Plenty of USB ports is great and it comes with thermal grease!
Cons: 2.5 bays are tight, but usable.
Overall Review: These are work horse boxes with a quad core and 4 GB of RAM. I enjoy building these and applaud shuttle for a nice design.
Pros: This RAM is top notch, timings are perfect, responsiveness is outstanding. 4 GB Running Ubuntu 9.04 with 512 MB Graphics card on Pentium D 3.0 Ghz, runs like a dream. Spend the extra cash to get quality RAM, it is worth it.
Overall Review: Even if you are building a budget box, buy good RAM like this, it makes a world of difference.
Pros: Nice, sturdy card, came with low profile adapter and DVI to VGA Adapter. Runs cool, is pretty quiet and graphics quality is outstanding. For the price, hard to find a better card. Relatively easy to install in Ubuntu 9.04 and the HDMI is the icing on the cake.
Cons: None to speak of.
Overall Review: It didn't come with Linux drivers on the disk, companies should all do this, but what are you going to do?
Pros: Great Drive, very responsive. Drive is very quiet, even when it is being stressed. Great Drive for the money, 320 GB is a perfect size for the average user, plenty of space for photos, music and videos.
Overall Review: none
Pros: Excellent RAM for a great price. I like the smaller form factor sticks, ideal for tight space, like a shuttle PC. Good timing, great response from the memory. Kingston is Solid, always has been.
Pros: I think the "Celeron" name has a bad rap, as soon as people hear that they think junk. Not the case here at all. This processor is excellent for the money. Installed and stressed this processor to the max and it performed very well. This was installed in a budget box, shuttle KPC, Kingston 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM, Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200AAJS 320GB 7200, LG 22X DVD burner and this processor all for under $250 shipped. The processor has been running since I got it with great response time, it handles tons of compiling and source code. I gave it 5 eggs because you can't beat it for the price.
Overall Review: 3 pin fan connector, not a negative, just something to be aware of.
Pros: Cheap, Good Quality, Good Performance and Network Ready. Samsung has always made good products and they continue to do so with this one.
Cons: Network Scanning is not easy.
Overall Review: Overall a great product for a great price, I don't know why anyone would buy an inkjet when you could have a laser!
