The definitive experience8/16/2021 8:59:15 AM

Pros: This has to be one of the best gaming viewing experiences money can buy right now. I'm coming from an AD27QD and this thing has me hooked. Lets get into it. - Quick turn on & turn off. - Built in speakers are exceptional. See cons. - Coming from a 27" panel, 48" is big but not too big, this thing works. Ideally at least 3ft away. - Noticeably faster in RT/IL than my AD27QD even with a slightly lower refresh rate without ghosting. - Amazing colors in comparison to the AD27QD as well and in general. - OLED, no backlight bleed. - 4K@120hz PS5 Con: 4:2:0 - KVM support. - Display port 1.4 - Works great with RTX 2000 series. Hardcore gamers will want the RTX 3000 series or more. - G-sync works right out of the box. - Pixel refreshing does not interrupt regular use. - Monitor build quality is quite strong.

Cons: - Dead pixel near middle of screen with a typical cloudy halo around it. New panel has no dead pixels. - BURN IN! Experienced permanent burn in with under 24 hour panel use. New panel has not had any issues after 60 hours use so far and slightly more precaution taken. - Included cables (HDMI/DP/USB) are short. The inputs are on the left side of the screen. Expect to buy longer cables. - Not true HDMI 2.1. - Long blackout period when going from fullscreen to window or changing any resolution/refresh rate. - No optical audio output. I would have rather had this than built in speakers and allowed easy, proper use with a digital audio system. - Auto dimming may be annoying to some users. Reports of it glitching out. - The HDR is very bright, although not as high as expected or advertised. - The screen is moderately reflective. Best use in a blacked out space.

Overall Review: - An amazing monitor and an amazing experience. Currently the same price or cheaper than the LG C1. * Newegg replaced my monitor with no hassle.

Acer VG271U is okay4/22/2019 10:38:28 PM

Pros: - IPS - 144hz - Affordable - Minimal backlight bleed - No issues with ghosting - response feels very good with overdrive off in comparison to my older dell monitors.

Cons: - Acer seems to always let me down - this monitor has green stuck pixels. - Stand is the worst stand ive ever seen, you don't even know when its connected properly because it doesnt make a sound and its just garbage. Wobbly is an understatement, the tilt sucks, I feel like it always reverts back. And Blue really? Why not just grey/black for stand color - luckily in my dark environment it looks grey. EDIT: - Every hour or so on desktop the screen would flicker - highly distracting and unacceptable Returned for Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD which is a 10x better monitor in every way.

Overall Review: - Compared to my Dell IPS - the colors on this thing are WHACK but its still beautiful. - Don't buy for HDR - Speakers are garbage but at least they're there if you hook up a console etc. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONITOR.

Great CPU12/19/2018 8:05:18 PM

Pros: * Fast * Runs cool compared to my 4.2ghz i7 5930k & is MUCH faster + more cores, and for around the same price I paid for the 5930k - great buy * This CPU crushes everything you give it

Cons: - Should of had more CPUs for launch

Overall Review: Wish I would have waited a little bit longer for the cpus to really saturate the market and save a few bucks now that prices are going down from the 580-590 I spent. * Great upgrade from my X99 i7 5930k build - The new Z390 chipset/New CPUs definitely give better performance and overall better stability than my dated/dating X99 build. Being an early adopter of DDR4 and back in the day having an awesome HEDT build was great but it had so many bugs/stability - this upgrade has been great and its nice to see that over time these issues have been ironed out.

Great motherboard!7/16/2016 9:00:46 PM

Pros: * It is feature rich * Good price point * Looks absolutely amazing in person * Great overclocking

Cons: - 4 Pin Molex power connector at the bottom of the board, this could have been designed better.

Overall Review: * RGB lighting would have been the frosting on top

Quality PSU12/1/2014 5:24:55 PM

Pros: * Platinum rated * Quality components inside the PSU * Great packaging * Corsair Link * Up to date with current standards

Cons: * Bent connectors, 24 will not plug into motherboard even with an ungodly amount of force. I got an RMA 24pin and even that had came with the connectors in the cord bent so it still wouldn't go in. Waiting on my second RMA 24 pin. * Only 3 6+2 pins WHAT!!! I can't do GTX 970 sli now, eventually I'll have to sell my PSU, what is this!! Even the HX850i only has 3!!! I've seen 600watt PSUs with 4!!!

Overall Review: This PSU shines when you can eventually get the 24 pin to stick, although its not recommended to run any machine unless it is fully inplace but I have no other choice. For single high end GPU/CPU builds this psu is perfect. Focus on the cons, Its really annoying have connectors that dont plug in all the way. Took 1 egg off for the cons.

Amazing Monitor!12/1/2014 5:15:56 PM

Pros: * IPS - Great colors! Absolutely fantastic, looks very nice along with my other IPS monitor. * No dead or stuck pixels! * No backlight bleed!!!!!!!! * Got it on sale for 350 dollars! * Would recommend, stand is SUPER sturdy. It swivels, pivots, tilts, and has height adjust! * 6ms response time, plays run super smooth! Ghosting what?

Cons: *Speakers are garbage but seriously, get a nice pair of cans and a nice stereo and this wont be a problem!

Great board11/23/2014 5:39:40 PM

Pros: * Worked on first boot up, everything works correctly.

Cons: * none

Overall Review: To manually overclock cpu ratio and multiplier, you don't click on it like mostly everything else in the UEFI bios, you hover over it and use the + and - on the keyboard ;/

Amazing Keyboard9/8/2014 2:02:26 PM

Pros: *Beautiful, day or night! *16.8 million color that can be used in literally a TON of different ways. *The software is very nice. *Corsair quality. *Price is right. *Mechanical keys, Cherry MX Reds! *Media Controls *Best RGB keyboard to date!

Cons: None!

Overall Review: No on board USB pass-through. LEDs seem like they will last MUCH longer then the previous generation. They're also very "sturdy". They have no problems with all the crazy effects.

Great Card6/8/2014 8:27:55 PM

Pros: * Fast * Max out all new games at 1080P example - Watch Dogs plays flawlessly * Came with Assassins Creed IV when I bought this * Good temps

Cons: * None

Overall Review: * Can be hard to remove powerconnecters due to heat pipe but you'll get it eventually like I did

Great, works perfect.6/5/2014 4:32:50 PM

Pros: * ASRock quality and UEFI bios, both are beautiful. * New Z97 chipset * Handles my 4690 perfectly.

Cons: * Due to the smaller/odd size of this ATX board fitting my Corsair H80i on to my CPU was a complete nightmare, not enough space to have a smooth install but I got it eventually. Will not take a star off though. If this was more expensive yes but you cant have everything at this price point, such as M.2 SSDs.

Overall Review: * Worked the first time

Amazingly Fast6/5/2014 4:28:55 PM

Pros: Upgrading from a AMD 4170, what can I say this gave me 20 more frames or more in all of my games with my GTX 770. It finally feels like I'm a gamer. This CPU is built tough and thats what you would expect from Intel. I felt that my AMD was lagging behind a lot. Expensive but its worth every dollar over current AMDs.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: * Didn't want to wait till June 25th for the release of the Devils Canyon, unlocked version i5 - 4690k. Would not recommend to anyone that is a non gamer, I would stick with AMD this has too much power to be used for anything less then max settings gaming.

Cheap, Fast, Just right6/5/2014 4:26:03 PM

Pros: Its an SSD regardless of whatever type of NAND it is using, synchronous or asynchronous. Bought to use on a web browsing only PC and its fast! PC boots up in seconds and its everything you could ask for in an SSD. 65 bucks too!

Cons: None, works just fine, couldn't bother to ask for more.

Great Monitor4/22/2014 7:22:36 AM

Pros: * Crisp True HD * IPS * AMAZING Colors * HUGE upgrade from a standard monitor * Great Glossy Finish * Small Bezzel

Cons: * None, you get what you paid for. I kind of wish it had HDMI but I don't need it. It's a great price so not much more you can ask for.

Overall Review: Bought this monitor at a local store.

What can I say..11/11/2010 3:54:21 PM

Pros: None.

Cons: Horrible.. I upgraded from my suckish ATi radeon 4550, to find out that this card is even worse. I got 35-25 frames on BFBC2 Low graphics settings, windowed mode and on a low res. With the ATi Radeon 4650 I get 25-9 frames on BFBC2, lowest graphics settings, windowed mode and on a low res. Man I never thought this would be a down grade. I also bought 3 day shipping I never knew it would take 7 day's. Very unsatisfied and a VERY bad card..

Very good card11/7/2010 8:41:56 AM

Pros: What can I say... It's an awesome card for the price. Runs GTA IV with 80 frames on low and res at 1440x900. It was a great upgrade from my onboard ATi HD Radeon 4200.

Cons: Non. Works great..

Overall Review: If your on a low budget buy this card.

Awesome upgrade7/23/2010 12:44:23 AM

Pros: I absolutely love this card. It's actually, to be honest, a very nice gaming card. Well improvement over my integrated graphics. Really cool card. I popped it in, and played a few games. Counter Strike: Source on Highest - 30 Frames Average [W/ heavily populated bots] Counter Strike: Source on Lowest - 60 Frames Average Garry's Mod on Highest - Guessing at least 40 - 50 frames average Team Fortress 2 on Highest - 30 - 40 frames average Company of Heroes on Ultra - 20 - 30 frames average Medal of Honor Beta on Medium - 20 - 40 frames average [Medium looks flawless] Direct X 10.1 is fantastic as well. I'm still getting more games, such as CoD: Modern Warfare: 2, and maybe Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Anyways, overall, I love this card to death. Insane upgrade over my Onboard card. 5 Eggs.

Cons: Company of Hero's crashed twice. No biggie. I think it's just a RAM flaw. [It was taking up 1.6Million K's, the most I've seen any EXE take up] And if you go to places like "Can you run it" etc etc [Tells you if you can run a game], it reads your card as a 4350. Probably self explainable, since 4350 is partnered up with the 4550. Otherwise. NONE. Perfect card.

Overall Review: Card is flawless. Happy with my purchase.

Really nice upgrade7/22/2010 10:53:32 PM

Pros: This is one awesome card. I popped it in, and played a few games. Due to my integrated graphics before, I could hardly play any games. But what this thing delivers is power and integrity. Gaming is beautiful on this card. Counter Strike: Source on Highest - 30 Frames Average Counter Strike: Source on Lowest - 60 Frames Average Garry's Mod on Highest - Guessing at least 40 - 50 frames average Team Fortress 2 on Highest - 30 - 40 frames average Company of Heroes on Ultra - 20 - 30 frames average I'm still getting more games, such as CoD: Modern Warfare: 2, and maybe Battlefield: Bad Company 2 [2 high intense FPS's] Anyways, overall, I love this card to death. Insane upgrade over my Onboard card. 5 Eggs all the way.

Cons: None so far. Although, when I popped it in and powered it on, the card got SERIOUSLY hot, but it seemed to cool itself down. Oh yeah, and a very small one, if you play CoH online/multiplayer on Ultra settings, your game might crash. It crashed 2 times for me. Although, it really doesn't matter because it really doesn't happen much, nor bother me ^__^

Overall Review: Awesome card, go out and buy it. And as another reviewer said, it comes with 2 external brackets, 1 for VGA only, and one for DVI and HDMI. These are only addons, and don't need to be used if you don't want them.

Really good upgrade7/2/2010 12:31:57 PM

Pros: I ordered this RAM just to make a performance speed increase, since 2GB was NOT cutting it, and quite franky, this is a very good upgrade. Very happy with my purchase. I bought it, plopped it in, started up the computer, 3GB of RAM, and it improved Frames on my games about 1 - 2. Anyways, thanks G.SKILL, I have 1 more RAM slot, might buy more later on (:

Cons: None so far, just hope it doesn't break on me D:

Overall Review: This is a good upgrade, for a seriously cheap price.
