Pros: Did not have the same exact specs as my current memory that has been in the system since I built it five years ago, but I think it sinks just right. Going to 64 gigs is a huge boon for running some of my services while gaming, and maintaining my plex server.

Cons: I should have got 64 instead of 32gb for this upgrade

Overall Review: Not other issues. My other ram had LED's in it. I have them turned off. Too bright for sleeping with that computer in the room. That is why I got this led lightless ram. Much nicer for sleeping conditions.

Pros: I thought it was a good deal for this refurbished elite book and was quite disappointed at what I received. There is nothing like having friends rely on you to help them get a deal on a laptop and you get a ham. This machine is not covered under a newegg standard warranty. It is covered only under 'Replacement' which is a horrible thing that I have to deal with the MFG now and pay for another LAPTOP out of pocket now to deliver this week and I get stuck with a piece of junk replacement that I don't need.

Cons: This computer was full of embedded food and dirt not just under the keys in the keyboard, (you think that they would replace a keyboard that only costs $15 dollars when they refurbish a laptop), but there was food and dirt embedded into the speaker grills in the front of the laptop also. Their were smudges and food pressed onto the screen like it had not even been wiped off. The headphone jack does not work, so its useless for movies or music. The computer has blue screened a couple of times and does not warn you when the battery gets low. It just shuts itself down. The screen also has had a tendency to black out for a few seconds here and there, and I have only used this thing for a few hours so far.

Overall Review: I have bought more then a few refurbished laptops from newegg and never received one in this poor condition before. Generally I buy Acer laptops but this guy wanted an HP. My guess is that this was not refurbished by HP at all but through some third party reverse logistics business like UPS where they have poor standards of work.

Pros: 12-19-22: Ok, I am updating this review now that I have figured out what the issue was. Literally I am copying and pasting this from the email I sent to Asus this morning after opening a service ticket with them which would have taken another few days to close/ "This issue has been resolved. I do NOT know what happened, however the keyboard stopped being recognized by the PC during this time. I hooked up a second keyboard to see how to bypass that bios screen and still nothing happened. However, after hooking up a 3rd USB keyboard it was then recognized to bypass that screen in the bios. This activity is highly odd as those keys on the keyboards worked both before and after that issue with the bios. Both the first and the 3rd keyboard used are in regular use and DO NOT have any issues while the second keyboard used was a backup keyboard that I keep as a spare."

Cons: It worked fine, however the bios crashed earlier and rebuilt the database for the bios. I made a small change to xmp profile, the thing bootlooped and now it gets stuck on the american megatrends screen saying to press F1 to go into the bios and run setup, however F1 DOES NOT WORK. The only thing that works is hitting control alt delete that takes you back to the same place. I have tried with different keyboards and about to strip this thing down to the board and start smashing things. The CMOS doesn't even clear anything it just takes you back to this stupid screen that sais press F1 to rebuild the bios. There isn't even a bios reset on this board that works. because it just sais press F1 to RUN SETUP but the button press is NOT recognized.

Overall Review: Why? I have never had a bios break from changing a setting before. Why doesn't it just take you back into the bios if the setting change didn't take. Instead, this thing just does nothing and gets stuck at the American Megatrends screen telling you to recover the bios. I'll update this once it gets working again since I know a setting changed fubr'd it, but this is ridiculous. 12-19-22 Update: So as you can see this bios is especially finicky and for some reason your keyboard may not be fully functional or recognized if you change a setting a fail to POST. As mentioned, I have never had this issue before and am an old skool PS2 keyboard plug aficionado specifically for this reason (not having usb drivers for you old timers out there). My first guess it that the board was borked from a corrupt bios, but this thing is just very sensitive and it only supports usb keyboards. Posting this in case others have the same issue, have a few extra keyboards on hand which most people do not have. Overall it is a fully featured bios with a nice gui that is pretty standard for this line. I think it is just a bit overly-sensitive and since this chipset is kinda first gen, there may be some bugfs to work out. I easy flashed the bios update from asus once I got back in and it rebooted several times as it updated. I am sure this board will last a long time and warned the kid, not to change anything in the bios, lol.

Pros: Item received as ordered. Cheapest price on the egg or anywhere for that matter for this connector.

Cons: It took a few weeks or maybe even a month or longer to receive it since it came from overseas.

Overall Review: Shipped from Vietnam as a gift. I left a one egg review earlier but was contacted by the seller to change it. I think everyone should have a fair chance at developing a business and making money so updating the review since I did receive the item I ordered. They seem like honest people and worth ordering from if you don't need the item in a hurry.

Pros: Works flawless. Good speed and plenty of space for anything you would ever need. I ordered this to put into my brand new HTC Bolt which I got lucky enough to order before sprint stopped selling them at a record breaking low price. San Disk is top notch and essentially runs the game.

Cons: None at all. IT works and should last for the life of the device.

Overall Review: This is used for my phone but I would not hesitate to use it as an expansion for tablet, netbook or computer.

Pros: Purchased: 1/8/2017 A call to a nice girl in Guangdong province was actually able to walk me through the steps to determine that for some reason 'automatic enabling' of wifi services was disabled in 'wwan' settings in management console. The good thing about overseas call centers is that you can call them at 11pm.

Cons: Stopped Working: 3/11/17 Got working again 3-15-17. I don't know if this was a windows 10 thang or what. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, removing, disabling, re-enabling, etc. For some reason this product stopped working one day without me changing any settings. Too much time spent trying to get it to work again is a huge headache. 4-15-17 Stay away from this dongle. It is junk as far as I'm concerned. It only works for the first 15 or so minutes after rebooting the computer before it automatically turns off requiring a reboot to get it to recognize again. Spend a bit more of your money on something better that works and save yourself the aggravation. Dropping this garbage back down to 1 egg because there is no option for No eggs!

Overall Review: I have mixed feelings on this one. It has worked. It has not worked. Now it is working again. Hopefully it stays that way. I went from 1 star to 4 stars because of the nice girl I dealt with on the phone. Not 5 starts because of the headaches, not to mention my time wasted on such an 'inexpensive' product. Used mainly to tether to phone, so I am not sure if the CDMA drivers were causing the connection issue.

Bought this for an aging halfop. Wasn't even sure if it was worth the money to upgrade but at this price, I decided that I would take the chance. Upgrading from 2 to 8gb did not necessarily speed up the boot speed, but movies do load and stream flawlessly now.

This thing is pretty sweet. It is way quieter then then the other air filtration devices I have in the house. I was skeptical about paying full price for this thing, but when I saw it on the deal of the day I bought it. Refurbished is the way to go from Dyson. I bought a vacuum refurbished as well last year and have not had any issues with Dyson's coming refurbished. Newegg is one of the 3 approved resellers of Dyson products and I will tell you that they come wrapped up like brand new from the factory. I put this one in my bedroom and the great thing about it is the heater which I can turn on for ten minutes when I hop in the shower and it heats up the room by the time I am done so I don't have to jack up the temperature to heat up the whole house.

I think I ordered this for a dollar. That is cheaper then it would even cost for them to ship it from china. To my knowledge, a month later, it has not shipped and probably never will. This isn't the product I needed anyways, I needed a converter.
