Overall Review: After trying an 8db Omni-directional antenna to find local WIFI signals, I wanted to try a more directional antenna to get more reliable reception. I hoped to get a 50-100% signal boost from this antenna but was pleasantly surprised by the 100-200% boost in signal strength I experienced with the strongest links I started with. I live on a first floor apartment and the ease of setup and the easy aiming adjustment makes this antenna a real joy to use. I thought about a higher gain corner antenna, but this one worked out better for me. It was more versatile, more compact, less expensive and delivered what I needed.

Pros: Player includes a FM Radio, stopwatch/lap timer, audiobook and podcast support and can record using it's microphone or off the FM. The player also supports micro SD cards up to 32 GB in size.

Cons: After 5 weeks of use the player still provides poor aac file support. Your best off converting everything to MP3 format for this player. Even with all MP3 file content, when you change file content on the player it can take over ten minutes to refresh even minor changes if you use a memory card to augment the player's memory. Change any of the content on an almost full 32 GB Micro SD card and refresh will take over an hour! Yes, over an hour! Not exactly a great user experience, to say the least.

Overall Review: SanDisk has pumped out three firmware updates in the last five weeks for this player. They have resolved none of the flaws mentioned in my two reviews. Their customer support has been horrible. They excel at denial and wasting your time when you are only trying to help them fix their product flaws. I use their forums to discuss these issues instead and get at least some ideas how to workaround the many product issues. I have downgraded the player to one star after five weeks of ownership due to the numerous issues with refresh times and AAC files and the lack of problem resolution displayed by SanDisk. Buyer beware!

Pros: Plenty of ports, Hub unit heavy enough to stay put, external power supply included to provide extra power, LED on power supply and hub to indicate power connected and working

Cons: Power supply failed after about 8 weeks of use. Power supply LED still green but LED on HUB not lit any more. Measured voltage out of power supply and found it was 0. I was afraid this might happen and I really needed the extra power. The unit is pretty worthless to me now. Thought Rosewill made good stuff. Live and learn.

Overall Review: Will see how the warranty works out on this.

If you need this item right away source it local. I was willing to wait a week, but this took a little longer, so I found my two year old tube of thermal compound (MX-4). There was enough left to do my project. A couple days later this item showed up. Too late for my project but ready for my next need.
