Motherboard with room to improve
Pros: Bought this as a combo with my i7-920 and couldn't be happier! Plugged in everything and booted right up. Overclocking was very simple even for my first time. Just had to make sure to read as much as possible so I wouldn't mess anything up. Have not tried to SLI or use the 6Gb/s sata but will some day.
Cons: Like others have said the pata and floppy connectors are hard to get to but I use neither so it's not a problem. Also, the USB was a stretch and had to do some crazy rerouting in order to get the case USB plugged in. I have not tried to SLI but my EVGA GTX 275 seems rather close to the next PCI-e x16 slot, I'll cross that road when it comes though.
Overall Review: Gigabyte has never disappointed me and I recommend it to everyone I know.
great cpu, tad hot
Pros: GREAT PRICE and runs fantastic!
Cons: Stock cooling is pretty bad. For the aveage user it may work, for gaming or other higher preformance machines, not so much.
Overall Review: Find a nice cooling system that works for you. With stock cooling I averages 50C just on boot up. Once I replaced it, temps plummeted to 30C!
