It's a case, that's about it5/11/2020 9:44:26 AM

Pros: It's a case It fits a motherboard the buttons work

Cons: **Everything Else** -literally an inch too short for a radiator -the top fan ports cause vibrations so loud that I had to uninstall the fans, like I can't even talk it -sounds like a go kart engine -no cable management options -3.5" HDD bay blocks 2 front fan slots -missing one of the 3.5" trays

Overall Review: This case honestly isn't that great but it can mount a motherboard and the power button works and I feel like these aspects would be pretty consistent across other cases, but remember that you get what you pay for, it's a cheap case but it does work so if you are in a pinch and need to get a replacement case ASAP this will do fine but I recommend not using the top fan ports.

mediocre card for the price, don't buy AMD12/13/2016 3:41:37 PM

Pros: -nice when it worked -after a year has had nothing but issues

Cons: -endless driver issues -Battlefield 1 crashes constantly -Full screen issues with BF4, Hardline -Full screen issues with just about any game that uses something newer than DX10 -Constant crashes, had to REGEDIT something to make sure the card stops crashing

Overall Review: Only buy NVIDIA. Never buy AMD anything. I don't care what the fanboys said, AMD is nothing but trouble, driver issues, and headaches. AMD is bringing nothing to the table other than reminding people why they don't play games on PC. If anything, AMD is driving customers back to either consoles, or NVIDIA. This was the second AMD experience for me and both while positive at first, became negative very quickly.

I really can't review it because the first one was defective, currently getting a replacement5/13/2016 1:26:03 AM

Pros: none so far

Cons: -There's no screw holes on the entire right side of the board, very shifty -SATA ports fail to detect anything, I tried all 4 in all combinations, and got nothing. -I press the power button and the PC turns on for a sec and then cuts out sometimes, checked pw sw wire and made sure negative/positive was in correct position, it was. -SECOND MSI MOTHERBOARD THAT HAS HAD THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM

Overall Review: Seriously MSI, I know a rep is gonna come on here and try to make me happy, but trust me, I like MSI, I've recommended you guys to a lot of people, but this is the SECOND MSi board that has had the exact same issue. I hope when I get this replaced my opinion will change.

Dear Khristian, Based on the symptom you reported, we suggest you checking following steps below since many reasons can cause the situation like this , 1. Check and make sure that power are connected correctly and firmly (JPWR1 and JPRW2). 2. Check your other major hardware’s (memory, video card, CPU and power supply) to ensure that they are not the cause of the issue. Clear CMOS. 3. best single gpu for gaming2/24/2016 8:44:54 AM

Pros: -Crushes anything on the market right now -Most people said it was overkill for me at 1080p, but when you are using a 144Hz monitor, this card compliments it beautifully, running games like PlanetSide 2 at 120 FPS and even new games like Rainbow Six Siege between 120-150 fps. And The Witcher 3 with gameworks off gets about the same 130-150 fps. This is just an amazing card and really shines in a 1080p environment when you are looking to get the most framerate out of your games. -Twin Frozr just gets better and better, idle temp around 40c, under load it barely gets over 60c, and that's saying a lot since I saw in other 980 Ti products how the card runs hot, well not with MSI and Twin Frozr -Backplate! The small things matter -And usually this isn't a pro, but price, you are basically getting a 6GB Titan for almost half the cost.

Cons: -Absolutely none

Overall Review: If you want the most out of your games in 2016, the 980 Ti is the way to go

Good psu but misses the point of modular2/17/2016 11:32:23 AM

Pros: -Great PSU with 80 PLUS Gold rating -Efficient

Cons: Big con, cost it 2 eggs rather than just 1. As a modular PSU, you are buying this power supply to cut down on wire clutter and keep the case organized best as possible. Unfortunately the CPU cord is not long enough to even make it to the top of a SMALL mid size ATX case. The reason this was 2 eggs docked is because, if it barely makes it across the motherboard in a small mid tower, then it probably can't reach the CPU plug AT ALL on a full size case! Sure I could go and buy some third party cables, but I expect to be able to use the cables included. Had I used this PSU in my personal case (Thermaltake Level10 GT) which has a height of 24", I would not have been able to use this PSU at all. It would have been unable to reach the motherboard.

Overall Review: Great PSU, terrible cables, if you are looking to buy this be prepared to buy third party cables because the ones included are very short in length.

nice2/7/2016 11:18:06 PM

Pros: SSD, fast read speeds for a good price

Cons: None

Overall Review: The actual product is fine. But the reason I give (gave) 3/5 eggs is because while checking out, I wasn't paying attention and apparently ordered it through a third party retailer called "Adorama Cameras". Forewarning, if you place an order with them after 4pm EST, it won't go through til the next day. Shipping quality was shotty may as well have just sent the loose box. Overall, next time I will make sure it's through newegg.

looks good, first one was defective though2/7/2016 11:12:42 PM

Pros: for a rubber dome keyboard at this price range, definitely looks good and feels good too

Cons: that enter key

Overall Review: I had to get a replacement, the 3 star rating is because of this. The "+" key would randomly start typing and holding out of nowhere even if I never touched it. Tried to fix it but no dice, had to send it back for a replacement. Once I received it back it isnt too bad, 4 stars now. Not perfect but for the price you cant complain.

Holiday build went south with gigabyte, glad I went with Asus1/14/2016 10:31:11 AM

Pros: This board needs no words, it speaks for itself. Easy setup, easy windows install, easy windows transfer. Has been running stable for about a week now and I have stress tested the system.

Cons: None, actually wait, it could use some boost in the aesthetic department lol

Overall Review: Was building a computer for a friend and I used the Gigabyte G1 Z97 board. The board was a mess and the BIOS was probably the deal breaker. Stopped POSTing after 2 weeks, so if it wasn't for the holiday return policy, I'd have a dead board, and a friend who would have been deeply upset. I am thankful for this Asus board, being easy to work with, no bells and whistles to bring it down, just a good quality board that promises years of use. Reason I mentioned this, because imagine you are in this situation, I was two days from wrapping the computer up, imagine the feeling one of your friends or family members would have had to get a present that doesn't work right off the bat. Exactly, you would be pretty mad too. I'm not slamming Gigabyte either, I don't need to, the reviews for that board speak for themselves, I'd say 1 in every 3 of those boards are DOA, and it appears that NONE of the boards sold for the holidays were working properly. What a shame.

Honestly, not that good, first gigabyte mobo, will be the last too12/23/2015 8:56:02 AM

Pros: -Cheap z97, but that's where the pros end

Cons: -The BIOS are a mess, they have it setup in 3 different menus that don't even work with each other. You can change something on one bios menu, but another menu will say otherwise. Incredibly confusing. -I have this board paired with a Pentium G3258, I bought RAM that was over 1333 for future use. The Pentium is only compatible up to 1333MHz, but the bios keeps defaulting it back to 1867, which is causing immediate blue screens, and corruption with windows. Every time this happens it stop POSTing and will only boot every third or fourth try. But this most recent time, it will not POST at all. -Ran Prime95 for 2 days after the first time, thinking maybe it was the CPU and RAM, and unfortunately, everything is leading to the mobo being defective.

Overall Review: This was my first ever gigabyte board, and will be the last. And before the gigabyte customer service rep comes on here to make a ticket, no thank you, I don't want to fix this board, I don't want to replace it. I want to go with another brand that I have used in the past like MSI, or Asus.

good psu for the price, gets a little hot12/12/2015 4:05:24 AM

Pros: Hey it's a PSU, 500W and 80 Plus Bronze, so far it hasn't blown anything up, but coming from Corsair, I doubt it would anyway.

Cons: -Only problem I have is that it gets a tad hot, might just be that I need more airflow, but to me it seems hotter than usual.

awesome monitor11/30/2015 4:41:25 PM

Pros: This monitor is FANTASTIC. The difference between 60hz and 144hz is literally night and day. Even though yes, it doesn't suddenly make you the best player ever, it does improve your ability to see what's going on faster, and with the 1ms response time, reactions in game feel a lot more fluid versus a standard monitor with longer latency. People say the colors are washed out, maybe it's because I've never owned an IPS panel, but this monitor stands out next to my other TNs, definitely looks the best out of the others.

Cons: Absolutely none, if you are looking for 144hz this monitor has everything you are asking for.

Nifty little case, exterior is fragile11/30/2015 4:12:08 PM

Pros: It's a great, compact sized case. -Spacious but small, room for a 120mm rad on the front -3 sided ventilation around the motherboard compartment -Fits a full sized PSU -Room for a large dedicated graphics card -Magnetic dust filter for PSU compartment

Cons: -Matte finish attracts fingerprints and scratches easily -Side left panel also had a few scratches from the factory -Cable management is tough unless you at least have a semi modular PSU. Even with semi modular, I ran into some tight spots and still felt that it could have been cleaner. Definitely recommend a fully modular PSU for this case.

Overall Review: Overall a great case, nice and small, yet spacious, looks great and the airflow is superb. The exterior and the scratches are what caused me to knock an egg, it seems to be a common problem, so I see it as a fault of design. But it's still a great case and honestly, one of the cooler cases of this size too. Just wish they went with a less "fragile" exterior finish.

best $60 I've ever spent...again and again11/29/2015 3:41:34 AM

Pros: I have used this CPU in 3 builds now, (going on 4) all for my friends who wanted to get into PC gaming but at a low price point. And dude, it almost feels like you are getting MORE than the price reflects. We all know the basics, 2 cores, unlocked, cheap, and 1150 socket that has a lot of upgrade headroom, but I'll answer the REAL questions and that's, how does it game. Experience when OCd and paired with an R9 270x/R9 380 and 8GB of RAM -Yes, it does run Fallout 4, it runs better than I expected -Yes it runs BF4 at ultra like a breeze -Yes it runs GTA V, and the hiccups have stopped since an update for better performance on less than 4 core machines. -Other games I've seen it run at full, ultra 60+ fps is ARK: Survival Evolved, PlanetSide 2, Killing Floor 2, Dirty Bomb, XCOM Enemy Unknown, Kerbal Space Program, and many, many more. People say this chip confidently runs anything before 2012. I would bump that up to...2014 and it runs all the ones except for literally like 2 or 3 games, which EVEN THEN it still RUNS but may experience a few stutters.

Cons: -Dual core

Overall Review: If you are on a budget, and want to get into the 1150 socket. Buy this cpu and you won't look back. If you are into streaming, or are already a streamer, maybe look at an i3 the hyper threading will help you out, this pentium is great at performing one task at a time, but heavy multi tasking is it's weak point.

awesome board3/10/2015 6:32:17 PM

Pros: Great board, awesome for black and white aesthetic Running it with a G3258 - 2x4GB DDR3 - R9 270x and even overclocking the Pentium to 4.2Ghz

Cons: None, no problems

great airflow - roomy - slight fault in wire managing3/10/2015 4:14:01 PM

Pros: -Great airflow for the size -top 120mm fan slot actually fits a fan -Roomy for the size, fits a full sized graphics card

Cons: -Wire management isn't too bad, however there is no way to get wires from the back to the top of the case, the only way to route the 8 pin cpu plug was through the wire management slit located at the top right corner of the motherboard. So it's stretching across.

fast3/10/2015 4:09:25 PM

Pros: Fast, extremely fast, windows loads up in less than 5 seconds, it boots Windows 8.1 faster than my own computer (which actually made me wonder about my 840 pro).

Cons: The only thing I could think was that it only shows up as 118gb but that's not worth an egg if you ask me.

Have overseen 3 builds with these - all flawless3/10/2015 5:30:30 AM

Pros: -Great budget card, probably the best card for around 170-200 range -Runs quiet -Can run all of the newest games @1080p

Cons: none, this card is perfect and I've seen it go into 3 builds recently and all have had higher than expectation performance.

Pros: -Wire setup -Leather Earcups -Virtual Surround that actually works -Audio quality is incredible compared to other headsets in this price range

Cons: None

Overall Review: This is the best headset you can buy in this price range. Are you questioning this or a pair of wireless headphones? Go with these, the qualm of wires is nothing compared to the quality and feel of these glorious headphones.

awesome gpu12/22/2014 5:14:08 PM

Pros: -Runs everything out today on Ultra @1080p at silky smooth 60fps. -Quiet, YES I HAVE HEARD THE COIL WHINE, it happens in the Far Cry 4 loading screen, and I have a little bit in game on Dead Island. But you know what I have to say? Honestly, unless you have your head right next to the computer, it's not all that irritating. And someone else said it too, I kinda like it actually. *vroom*

Cons: NVIDIA experience is hella incompatible, I was having an issue that almost made me RMA, I STILL cannot get it to work but everything else including the NVIDIA control panel is working, so I decided to live with it until they come out with a update. I kinda wanted to play older games in 4k but I can't do this without geforce experience, so I'm stuck getting 3000fps in older games.

Overall Review: I still love this card.

Awesome RAM12/10/2014 11:17:01 AM

Pros: Looks cool Runs great Optimized for Haswell E

Cons: Not really a con to me considering I have a 4790k, but it seems that if you use this RAM on ANY other board than an X97 Intel you will run into some issues. But it does say on the box that it was designed to work best with 4th gen Intel.

Best intel 4-core12/10/2014 11:11:15 AM

Pros: Fast, very fast Runs everything and anything you throw at it

Cons: If I had to choose one, it would be the fact that 8 core cpus are still not really worth it in 2014. I could buy 3 of these and then some to get that 8 core, and the performance difference isn't anything to write home about.

Awesome board12/10/2014 10:41:40 AM

Pros: -This time around I went with a themed build, this board accents it nicely. -Asus ROG BIOS -Ability to Flash BIOS via USB -Again, board looks awesome

Cons: None, the only con was the amount of skepticism generated from reading the reviews. Asus almost lost me as a customer a few years ago but they seem to be bringing back the quality everybody once knew them for.
