best single gpu for gaming

Pros: -Crushes anything on the market right now -Most people said it was overkill for me at 1080p, but when you are using a 144Hz monitor, this card compliments it beautifully, running games like PlanetSide 2 at 120 FPS and even new games like Rainbow Six Siege between 120-150 fps. And The Witcher 3 with gameworks off gets about the same 130-150 fps. This is just an amazing card and really shines in a 1080p environment when you are looking to get the most framerate out of your games. -Twin Frozr just gets better and better, idle temp around 40c, under load it barely gets over 60c, and that's saying a lot since I saw in other 980 Ti products how the card runs hot, well not with MSI and Twin Frozr -Backplate! The small things matter -And usually this isn't a pro, but price, you are basically getting a 6GB Titan for almost half the cost.
Cons: -Absolutely none
Overall Review: If you want the most out of your games in 2016, the 980 Ti is the way to go
Honestly, not that good, first gigabyte mobo, will be the last too

Pros: -Cheap z97, but that's where the pros end
Cons: -The BIOS are a mess, they have it setup in 3 different menus that don't even work with each other. You can change something on one bios menu, but another menu will say otherwise. Incredibly confusing. -I have this board paired with a Pentium G3258, I bought RAM that was over 1333 for future use. The Pentium is only compatible up to 1333MHz, but the bios keeps defaulting it back to 1867, which is causing immediate blue screens, and corruption with windows. Every time this happens it stop POSTing and will only boot every third or fourth try. But this most recent time, it will not POST at all. -Ran Prime95 for 2 days after the first time, thinking maybe it was the CPU and RAM, and unfortunately, everything is leading to the mobo being defective.
Overall Review: This was my first ever gigabyte board, and will be the last. And before the gigabyte customer service rep comes on here to make a ticket, no thank you, I don't want to fix this board, I don't want to replace it. I want to go with another brand that I have used in the past like MSI, or Asus.
Decent monitor for price

Pros: price
Cons: stand
Overall Review: The monitor is very nice for the price, it feels very snappy and insanely quick for response time. You can feel the quickness. Also 1440p is a decent upgrade as well, the picture looks good, again, for the price. Its not an IPS panel, so dont expect the most vivid colors and black depth etc. If you know what to expect youll be very pleased with the picture. After all, its a high refresh rate, low response time gaming monitor, its not meant to give the most cinematic picture, its meant to be efficient, and it is. There is one downside to this monitor and its the stand, its just a basic tilt stand and, I hadnt been without height adjustment in a long time, I dont care for it but, its easy to get over if you have a proper height place for your monitor. I will say, if your desk relied on your monitors being height adjusted, you might want to look for one with a more feature filled stand. Overall if you can get past the tilt only stand, its an amazingly fast and efficient monitor for the price you pay.
It's a case, that's about it

Pros: It's a case It fits a motherboard the buttons work
Cons: **Everything Else** -literally an inch too short for a radiator -the top fan ports cause vibrations so loud that I had to uninstall the fans, like I can't even talk it -sounds like a go kart engine -no cable management options -3.5" HDD bay blocks 2 front fan slots -missing one of the 3.5" trays
Overall Review: This case honestly isn't that great but it can mount a motherboard and the power button works and I feel like these aspects would be pretty consistent across other cases, but remember that you get what you pay for, it's a cheap case but it does work so if you are in a pinch and need to get a replacement case ASAP this will do fine but I recommend not using the top fan ports.
mediocre card for the price, don't buy AMD

Pros: -nice when it worked -after a year has had nothing but issues
Cons: -endless driver issues -Battlefield 1 crashes constantly -Full screen issues with BF4, Hardline -Full screen issues with just about any game that uses something newer than DX10 -Constant crashes, had to REGEDIT something to make sure the card stops crashing
Overall Review: Only buy NVIDIA. Never buy AMD anything. I don't care what the fanboys said, AMD is nothing but trouble, driver issues, and headaches. AMD is bringing nothing to the table other than reminding people why they don't play games on PC. If anything, AMD is driving customers back to either consoles, or NVIDIA. This was the second AMD experience for me and both while positive at first, became negative very quickly.
I really can't review it because the first one was defective, currently getting a replacement

Pros: none so far
Cons: -There's no screw holes on the entire right side of the board, very shifty -SATA ports fail to detect anything, I tried all 4 in all combinations, and got nothing. -I press the power button and the PC turns on for a sec and then cuts out sometimes, checked pw sw wire and made sure negative/positive was in correct position, it was. -SECOND MSI MOTHERBOARD THAT HAS HAD THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM
Overall Review: Seriously MSI, I know a rep is gonna come on here and try to make me happy, but trust me, I like MSI, I've recommended you guys to a lot of people, but this is the SECOND MSi board that has had the exact same issue. I hope when I get this replaced my opinion will change.
meh
product was fine luckily, I'd rather deal with newegg next time, I ordered a different item (through newegg) about an hour or two after a item sent through adorama, and the item ordered through newegg was here 2 days ago. The order processing through adorama took an enitre day, so a solid 15-16 hours in between placing the order, and it actually being shipped. It was shipped through USPS, which was the part where I was most furious because USPS doesn't care.I paid for shipping on this item too. Shotty packaging. Bad response time. Mediocre experience. I will go out of my way and pay attention next time I purchase something, just so I don't have to deal with these guys.
