Pros: Easy to set up, fast, evga made a good overclocking utility to got with it. stays cool enough even while overclocked. I run crysis 2 at 35 fps on extreme with it and an i-5 2320 and 8gb of ram. gets a little choppy in some parts on ultra.
Cons: forgot to do the mail-in rebate. the evga precision tool limits you to 1000 mhz overclock speed, but its enough. no real cons here.
Overall Review: my buddy and i both bought it to use in a budget gaming build and it works fantastically well for that. haven't had any problems with it after 2 months.
Pros: no faults so far. the tuner utility can control up to 5 fans. has presest overclocking utilities i have not tried yet, and a power saving utility. claims it can increase your lan speed and usb speeds, but havent noticed any real difference.
Cons: a lot of bloatware. i forgot to put in the rear shield. D'oh
Pros: You should probably just skip to other thoughts for the real insights. Nothing was broken (knock on wood), all the case components worked right away. Plenty of fan mounts, pretty blue LED lights, and just a lot of space. Lots of thumb screws which is convenient.
Cons: The top dock for an HDD is a good idea, however the way in which the ports are orientated made it impossible for me to connect my portable hard drive, it was just too thick, which was a little disappointing.
Overall Review: even though the hard drive bays have mounting points for 2.5" drives, i had to use and adapter for my intell 330 series ssd because the shape of the drive bay insert makes it impossible to plug in the SATA cable without an adapter, or without breaking the plastic insert. I had to reroute the front panel cables because my power supply (HX850) was long, and it covered the hole which they were originally routed through.
Pros: 8gb of ram, 2nd gen i-5 cpu is fast (turbo works very well), huge hard drive.
Cons: the power supply is really small, so if you ever want to add anything you'll have to upgrade the psu. also the motherboard only has 1 pci-e 2.0 slot so look elsewhere if you want to xfire. the tower is also quite small.
Overall Review: makes for a great base for a budget gaming pc. i purchased an evga geoforce gtx 550 ti fermi video card and a 550 watt power supply for about 170 together. so i got the whole system for under $800. It averages about 35 fps for crysis 2 on extreme when the gpu is overclocked. my buddy supply got the same exact set up and neither of us has had a single problem after 2 months and we both game a lot.
