Disapppointed

MSI Optix G273QPF 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz 1ms GTG Rapid IPS, HDMI, DisplayPort G-Sync Compatible VESA Tilt Swivel Height Adjust Gaming Monitor
MSI Optix G273QPF 27" WQHD 2560 x 1440 (2K) 165Hz 1ms GTG Rapid IPS, HDMI, DisplayPort G-Sync Compatible VESA Tilt Swivel Height Adjust Gaming Monitor

Pros: Everything as advertised.

Cons: Brightness is not uniform, there is a 300-ish pixels margin on the left and right edges that is dimmer/darker than the rest of the screen, regardless of viewing angle or distance. See customer photo. Very annoying in Chrome and Notepad++. The cheap 15-year-old monitor I am replacing still has better brightness uniformity than this. Crosshair shapes are terrible. They all look like they were drawn by an edgy 10-year-old kid. Most of them are several pixels thick, what the hell? The position cannot be adjusted. MSI should seriously take notes from AORUS monitors, which have software to upload custom shapes, or at least provide simple thin cross and dot shapes like LG monitors. After Windows has turned off the display due to inactivity, the Windows device connect/disconnect sounds play over and over again every 10 seconds, regardless of which GPU port is used. This is absolute nuts. The only workaround is changing the Windows power options to never turn off the display...

Overall Review: The cons are a real shame, this screen is nothing short of amazing otherwise. Nonetheless, I will still get a refund and likely go for another brand. I can live without crosshairs, but the dim edges are an absolute deal breaker for my OCD :(

Ok-ish

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G+, 80 Plus Gold 750W, Fully Modular, FDB Fan, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Power Supply 120-GP-0750-X1
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G+, 80 Plus Gold 750W, Fully Modular, FDB Fan, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Power Supply 120-GP-0750-X1

Pros: Decent AC noise filtering

Cons: Audible 437 Hz tone from the always-on fan. The rest of my system is quite silent and this PSU is the loudest part when idle. It's not that loud, but it does get annoying when my brain notices it.

Overall Review: I wish it had an external fan header so I could customize the fan speed to get rid of that annoying tone...

Overpriced

ASRock Z590 Phantom Gaming 4 LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock Z590 Phantom Gaming 4 LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: - Lean and mean. - Resizable BAR support, although it's disabled by default.

Cons: - Phantom Gaming Tuning software is terrible, sometimes crashes, no multi profiles for fans, current values not displayed on fan graph, no low RPM warnings (use HWiNFO instead) - At high loads, VRMs have audible whine and they get hot fast (80°C according to my IR thermometer). I have a front-mounted water cooler, so the mobo didn't get a lot of airflow. Just to be safe, I used strings to hang a fan inside of my case, with the airflow directed toward the VRMs. - Heatsinks are very easy to unseat with just a little nudge. - Coil whine when OpenRGB Pipeline (third-party software) is open. This one is a mystery.

Overall Review: I got this in a GPU combo, honestly get another brand if you can. Not worth more than US$100 at best. I wish it had more USB-A ports, 5 is a little low.
