Pros: -This BenQ design is very clean and almost no bezel. No goofy looking "gaming" stuff like extra LED lighting and big logos.
-IPS provides great colors, viewing angle, and contrast for a 144Hz monitor.
-Works perfectly with Nvidia 'G-Sync Compatible' using a DisplayPort cable. Enable this feature in Nvidia Control Panel (NVCP), set low latency to On and cap your framerate to 141fps.
-AMA 1 or 2 gives very fast pixel response with great image quality.
-Top tier low input latency if you check benchmarks.
-Surprisingly decent 2.5Wx2 speakers built-in, for when not using headphones or larger speakers. I recommend the cinema mode for sound.
-Supports VESA mounts (as shown in my photo).
Cons: -Little bit of backlight glow at the corners, but that's normal for IPS monitors.
-Blur Reduction quality is second to none, but must be disabled if you use VRR.
-I recommend not using the included HDMI cable, buy a DisplayPort cable. This will give you 144Hz with 'G-sync compatible', while also sending audio for the speakers.
Overall Review: Using a mid-range PC and unwilling to make the jump to bigger more expensive monitors like 1440p/144Hz or 4K/144Hz? This is the way to go. Note in the photo below I'm using a VESA mount not included.
Pros: Great performance easy runs at XMP Profile for DDR 3200 speeds
Cons: LED lighting is insanely bright. Too bright for me and the software doesn't let you dim them so I ended up just disabling the LED lighting on this RAM. Unfortunately sometimes it turns itself back on so then you need to reload software and disable it again. Wouldn't buy this RAM again because of the lighting but if you're looking for bright LED rainbows look no further.
Overall Review: I'd just buy a non-LED version next time.
Pros: (1) Highly accurate mouse pad. So good it's a minor con with my mouse, see below.
(2) Surface gives a great sense of control on all any sensitivity (especially gaming, CSGO, Diablo 3, etc). I run relatively low sensitivity for FPS (1.8 in CSGO).
(3) Overall great build quality. The stitching around the perimeter adds a great quality and look to the pad.
(4) Comfortable, soft surface to have your wrist on.
Cons: (1) There is a rubber smell to the pad. I left it outside for a day and soap washed/dried it but the smell is still there. It'll actually make your wrist smell of rubber. It's not too strong but you will notice it. Hope it'll fade in time as this is common with soft pads.
(2) Tracking is so good the lift distance on my mouse actually increased on my Razer Deathadder Black. I'm now thinking about getting a Zowie FK1 or any other mouse that advertises low lift distance.
(3) I feel the bright green design is a bit overkill, I'd opt for a bit more subtlety.
Overall Review: Great pad 4/5. The cons are all minor, my overall experience with it is excellent.
Pros: Drive is very fast and quiet and large cache size.
Overall Review: I am using this hard drive in my PlayStation 3. It was an easy 5 minute install, and the drive works perfectly. The 40gig mine came with was getting pretty full and wanted to upgrade when I saw it on sale.
Pros: Fast, reliable, secure, has a USB port for an easy FTP server, small size, is supported by custom Linux firmwares (Thibor, DD-WRT, OpenWRT, Tomato, etc)
Cons: The stock Linksys firmware could be improved but who cares. Maybe a bit expensive.
Overall Review: This router is best with a custom firmware, I personally run Thibor 17c (http://www.thibor.co.uk/) on it and it's just perfect. With this firmware its the best all around router I have used.
Pros: Better than average design. Asus is generally reliable. I like the heat pipes. Lots of BIOS options.
Cons: Not the best memory support, but the last few BIOS updates have improved that. Did not work with OCZ memory (2.0-2.1v) But works great with Corsair and A-data (1.8-1.9v)
Overall Review: I'd buy these boards again for more budget PCs.
Pros: Burner does everything it says it does. It's a great price for this burner. I bought it after my $xxx Plxxxor decided to stop working and didn't feel like RMAing it. This thing works great
Cons: none really, maybe it could have more cache but for the money it's worth it.
Comments: It's a lot cheaper than the normal retail version in stores. It says IMPORT but it makes absolutely no difference. The game installed perfect without a problem, got on a Steam and was playin HL2:DM and CS:S in no time. Once again, I live in New Jersey, pay no attention to the IMPORT thing it has no affect on what you recieve from Newegg, I didn't even see any difference in the box.
Only downside to this is its 5 install disks (yes FIVE) it would have been nice to get it on DVD when it gets to be that many disks.
In short: Just get it.
