Pros: It reads CD's DVD's, Blu-ray and HD-DVD's flawlessly. It burns CD-R's and DVD-R's.
Cons: none that I can blame on the drive itself. this drive is superb.
Overall Review: I had to upgrade my video card in order to play HD content on my PC, but that's ok, I needed it anyway. I bought a GeForce 8500GT here in NewEgg, which cost me only sixty six bucks, and it was all I needed to bring my PC up to speed and into the realm of HD movies.
Pros: can be hung from the edge of the monitor to be close to where the eyes look at. This makes for great "eye contact" with te remote user.
Cons: Well, unfortunately, my unit came with a perpetually out-of-focus lens.
Overall Review: Had to RMA it and decided to get a refund.
Pros: Well built (solid feel). Not too heavy, or too light - just right. I like the buttons on both sides AND the scroll wheel. The "remote-control" piece is an excellent bonus. I wanted a keyboard and got both a keyboard and a remote. Nice touch! The battery lasts a lot longer than my previous one. I am going on three months now with the factory-installed alkaline batteries, and it still feels like the first day. Easy to change radio channel if there is interference with your home WiFi LAN.
Cons: None. Only thing I would ask for to make it IDEAL would be glow-in-the-dark keys or a lighted background.
Overall Review: Good deal. I am very pleased with this remote keyboard/remote combo. My previous wireless keyboard had a poor battery and wireless signal! With this keyboard I have absolutely no signal problems sitting on my sofa 10 feet away from the TV/HTPC. This keyboard is the real thing. For those of you with no previous wireless keyboard experience you can stop looking around. This KB works. For years, I had a lousy wireless keyboard and put up with bad signal quality and short battery life. I shopped around a lot for a replacement and finally decided on this one. A great decision. One more thing. I use a three-foot USB extension cable to move the USB receiver/antenna from the back of the HTPC to a place next to the TV where I get better signal than from the back of the HTPC. If you like how this keyboard looks, what you see is what you get, and no less.
