Good for what it is...
Pros: You can't argue with the price, especially if you picked it up with a rebate like I did. Installation was amazingly easy, updating the drivers was quick and easy too. Gave me a DVI and S-Video port, which I lacked previously, which means I can go dual monitors now.
Cons: Just to test ou the connection, I used the S-video to hook it up to my Sony television and the image displayed in black and white. I messed around in Catalyst for a while but couldn't seem to get it in color. Works find on my monitor though. Probably just need to reinstall the driver... Though I doubt I'll ever use the S-video connection.
Overall Review: This card obviously isn't going to run oblivion or FEAR or any of those games at even mid-settings, and it certainly doesn't pretend to be able to. I bought this card to hold me over until christmas on a 3 year old AGP system. It runs what I need it to run with acceptable settings and it wasn't a hassle to deal with.
Works Fine, Looks Great
Pros: Modular cables, quiet (some noise, but well within tolerable levels), looks amazing, steady and sufficient power.
Cons: It has a green LED inside, which isn't really my thing, but it's sorta growing on me...
Overall Review: I was hesitant to buy this PSU knowing that Mushkin was relatively new to the field and was more specialized in memory, but I'm glad I got it. It's been great so far and I've had it over 6 months now, with the system running basically non-stop. Powers an e6600, 2gb of ddr2 667, a 320gb SATA drive and a GeForce 7950gt. I've tossed an extra hard drive in it on occasion and it's handled it with no issue.
Easy and Stable
Pros: Very easy install. Enough connections for everything I needed and the software and drivers loaded up very easily. It's been completely stable since I assembled the system almost a month ago.
Cons: So far I haven't run into a single thing that makes me regret this purchase.
Overall Review: My build is this MoBo with an E6600, OCZ S.O.E. 2x1gig, Seagate 320gig HDD, Sata DVD burner, evga 7950gt. The thing is running fantastic.
Pros: Runs every game I've thrown at it at high settings with more than acceptable frame rates. Installed easy, drivers worked good, no compatibility issues at all. Fan isn't noticeably loud.
Cons: None really, Its not gonna run Direct X 10 but I didn't expect that when I bought it.
Overall Review: A solid purchase. Price/performance compares well with the x1950pro and Nvidia tends to run better on the games I play. (Company of Heroes, FEAR, etc...)
Pros: The drive was just what I needed in terms of price and capacity. Free shipping didn't hurt either. Installing the drive and getting it formatted was simple.
Cons: Not really the drives fault, but in my case it caused some issues with overheating my 120 gig maxtor drive that I use as the master drive. For now I am just leaving the side off my case, but I'm probably going to dremel a vent next to the drives to solve this.
Overall Review: It's a good drive at a good price, my case just needs better circulation. UPS mangled the box a little bit, but everything worked fine. Newegg is great, the best online shopping experience I've ever had.
