perfect extra storage for xbox one
Pros: Got this for $99. Needed space for my xbox one, decided to spend the extra money and get 4TB than to get a 2TB for $80. Plugged it right in and Xbox formatted it right away and now I have room for nearly endless games. There is an option on the Xbox one that puts external storage to sleep when the Xbox is off. So you don't have to worry about the hard drive running 24/7, only when it's plugged in.
Cons: None so far, I personally like Western Digital the best but Seagate is right up there and for $99 it couldn't be beat.
Pros: Price vs. options. this is a good budget board that has everything someone would need to make a cheaper build. It has all the new, updated PCIe slots and USB 3.0
Cons: Kind of cheaply constructed, compared to other boards of this price, but you do get what you paid for. The board does not reach as far as other ATX boards and I do not understand why. The heat sinks on it also come right off, as if they are just sitting on top of the components and not really secured down.
Overall Review: I took a risk and bought an open box because it was $35 less. I knew that nothing had to be with this board in order for it to work, but i got lucky and everything came with it. I did get a DOA though, the dbug LED had a code for "no memory installed." After trying different options and using RAM that I knew worked, I figured the slots were bad. This thing was supposed to be tested before but I guess not. Not the best experience with this company and board, it was my first from them and I probably will not buy one again.
Pros: -Quiet -Efficient -Fits 17" Laptops -Works Great -USB Power
Cons: -Not Comfortable On Lap -Kinda Bulky To Lug Around
Overall Review: Overall its a great cooler, using it with my 14" laptop, and while playing WoW it keeps it cooler. The fan has low RPM but since the fan is in fact 23cm, it pushes more air than smaller fans.
Great Monitor for Gaming
Pros: 1080p 1ms response time G-sync Up to 180hz 2 USB ports Tilts and swivels Easy to navigate menu with joystick Bright display
Cons: TN Panel, obviously not as vibrant as IPS but I knew this before buying No speakers Takes some color calibration out of the box to get the most of the display
Overall Review: I bought this when it was on sale for 30% off $400 ($280). This is a refurbished unit and after reading reviews I did not know what to expect when it arrived. Some people received units in plain brown boxes, not wrapped in anything, dead pixels, no cords included, etc. Well, I think I hit the jackpot on my lottery ticket. It arrived in its original box, so I figured that was a good sign. The monitor was not wrapped in any plastic, but it was in between styrofoam. Mine came with all the cords in plastic bags, power, usb, HDMI and Display Port cable. No dead pixels, just a little bit of light bleeding near the bottom of the monitors, but it is only noticeable on dark screens. So you really do not know what you will get, but for getting what seems like a brand new unit for $280 is amazing. As for performance, this monitor does what its supposed to do. up to 180 hz with gsync is amazing. Coming from a 60hz Benq the difference is insane. I have only tested Overwatch but the movement is so smooth its insane. Even just moving windows around on the desktop are so much smoother compared to 60hz. FYI: If you want more than 60hz, you need a display port or dual link DVI-D cable, or a HDMI 1.3 or better. Overall I got lucky receiving the one I did. I will update if anything in the near future happens. For $400, meh, that is too much for me to spend on a monitor. $280 is amazing for what this monitor has.
Great upgrade from H50
Pros: Installation was normal, not too bad if you have patience. Tubes are flexible and a lot better than the plastic ones that came with my H50 forever ago. Can be quiet and loud depending on the RPM setting Thin radiator looks sleek and saves space Corsair Link
Cons: None so far. Need an open USB header on the motherboard in order to utilize Corsair Link, luckily I had one.
Overall Review: 240mm looks so much better than a 120mm imo. Corsair Link is wonderful. With this cooler, the symbol on the cpu block can change colors depending on the temperature, in which you set those parameters. Or you can change the color to any color you want or it can cycle through colors. Can set a graph to how much the fans ramp on depending on temperature of whatever parameter you choose.
simple and easy
Pros: The card came in the box when I received my video card. Followed directions, since I already had steam on my computer it was real simple. Took more time to download the games then to put the code in and get the games. about $120 worth of games for "free." This is why I chose AMD over NVIDIA
