Fast and Great Color
Pros: Coming from an old LED TN panel from 2012 this was a significant upgrade! Adaptive sync is compatible with my 2080 Super. Great color and definitely a good value.
Cons: Unable to figure out how to get the monitor to shut off the LED and go into full standby mode. This requires me to manually press the power button to get the screen to shut off at night.
Overall Review: Recommended if you are looking for a fast response 1080 monitor. I will likely buy a 1440 monitor to go with this for games where I'm less concerned about frame rate (non shooters).
Fast and Runs Cool
Pros: Can always expect good thermals on the vendor custom boards. Temps run about 70 C under load.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Probably will use the card in IOMMU passthrough to a Windows Guest in the future once RTX 3000 series come out. Currently running Windows but will run Linux Host in the future.
Great Case
Pros: Tons of room and unlimited options. Easy to work in. Great existing cable management and available tie offs for other routing. The tinted glass panel helps dim some of the RBG lighting that gets put on everything these day. This is nice if you aren't looking to completely light up your space with the lights (which I wasn't) but don't mind the LEDs peeking through when they are on. Ample amount of accessories, most I will never use.
Cons: None so far!
Overall Review: I recommend this case for someone who has the need for a lot of equipment (custom water cooling) or would like room to grow down the road.
Great Desk Pad that is Juuust right
Pros: Great surface, large, very smooth. I also like the thickness, it is not too thin or too thick. Would recommend to a friend.
Cons: The fabric is a little sharp out of box on the edges. Also a strong synthetic odor.
Overall Review: To solve the odor issue I just put it in a clothes dryer on very low heat setting for about 20 minutes. Helped dissipate the odor significantly. Hopefully the fabric will remain attached to the rubber for a long time!
Great PSU
Pros: Don't let people tell you that you need to get 1000 Watt PSUs. This guy will handle everything you throw at it. Seasonic makes great products and I am very happy with my purchase. It could even handle my power hungry GTX 480 and 4.6GHz OC on my 2500k with 1 SSD + 1 HDD.
Cons: n/a
Overall Review: Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced i5 2500k Asus P8Z68-V Pro/Gen3 EVGA GTX 480
Sleek and functional
Pros: Got it on sale with rebate! Great looking, plenty of options and room for cooling. My brother is jealous of my case.
Cons: A few of the screws were tight, but after taking them in and out a few times they go much better now. The left door screw holes are slightly misaligned, but pulling the door out a bit lines them up. I got a SSD and HDD, the HDD was very hard to get to slide into the bay.
Overall Review: If you are having grounding issues, CHECK YOUR GROUNDS. Take the doors off, the front panel (it pops off), then take the top off. You will see a wire that is attached to the top of the case. Because the case is painted black, you may need to resurface (take paint off) the grounding area so the wire is making good contact with metal. Paint is not conductive.
