Pros: This drive installed into my HP hdx18t perfectly with my recovery disks that I made when I first got the laptop. after the complete installation I am impressed with the boot up and general operation. Verry fast 30 sec as comaired to 1.3 minutes with a WD 250 scorpio 7200.

Overall Review: was still a littel expensive as every one has pointed out but it makes my laptop really respond like a desktop so I think it was worth it and may get one or two for my desktop. Egg head got it to me in 2 days great job.

Cons: I would go into the issues but that would be a waste of time like the board itself" harddrive/ controller/ video/ network I sent this back to asus to have them check it out when it came back the network controller was not working I had to install a network card and now I have to monitor boot because the video wont come half the time it does the same with 6 deferent video boards. 5 year warranty I would RMA it again but then it may not boot up at all

Overall Review: asus when you send a product back from RMA it should work as intended not worse 5 years worth of trouble not my idea of something I want any more of.

Pros: It booted write up with a 13900k cpu and 32 gigs of gskill 5600x28 cas memory

Cons: I am having a lot of trouble with graphics card installation' it gives 5 beeps with a 96 code the code goes away, and it does nothing else in the bios the setting was auto, so I set it on onboard pcie1 same thing still having trouble. Also, if you have an operating system even win 11 on a previous drive it won't boot on this on this if you have older software ins you will have to do a clean install and reinstall some software

Overall Review: I beleave the bios needs some work to resolve issues with the graphics card I tried two video cards and had the same issue

Pros: I am still working on the build of a system getting the CPU today and am waiting waiting on the motherboard

Pros: I got this drive when they first came out how ever long ago that was I don't remember at least three to five years ago since then I have used western digital/Seagate and a number of other manufacture's from one to 3 tb's all have died but this one enough said.
