Pros: I paid $17usd and it was worth every penny.
Overall Review: Easy to use. Key codes are for steam. :)
Pros: Conveniently the code arrives in your email, is easy to enter in, and you dont have to waste gas driving to get it otherwise.
Overall Review: Ordered a little after midnight, code arrived next day before noon. :) I'd assume ordering during normal business/cs hours will get you the code in under an hour.
Pros: 1. Like others have said, it really is quiet.
2. WEI score of 7.8.
3. Does its job really well (see other thoughts).
Overall Review: I have played Test Drive Unlimited 2, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo, and Metro 2033 (the only DX11 game that I have) and they all played on MAX settings (1920x1080, max Anti-Aliasing, max Anistropic, etc etc) with no lag/hangs/hiccups. :)
I upgraded from my old Diamond Radeon HD 3870 512mb. It was obviously a major upgrade and I (like other reviewers) highly recommend the XFX Radeon HD 6870 Black Edition.
OS: Win 7 x64 SP1 Ultimate
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE 3.4ghz w/Stock Cooler
Ram: G. Skill Ripjaws 1600 4gb (2x2gb) Dual Channel
Mobo: ASRock 870 Extreme3
PSU: Raidmax RX-530SS 530W
OS HDD: Seagate 500GB w/32mb cache SATA2
Storage HDD: Hitachi 2TB w/32mb cache SATA2
Pros: Price is under $20 bucks. Perfect burns when I burn 8x DVD-R's and 16x CD-R's.
Overall Review: Easily have gone through 100 blank DVD-R's and a couple dozen CD-R's (Verbatim brand). No coasters.
Every ASUS product I have ever bought (24" HD monitor, a couple motherboards, and this burner) has been an awesome reliable product.
Pros: I don't really know a better way of saying this but this chip is GREAT!
Fastest chip that I have ever owned (previous CPU was the AMD 6000+).
Price is so good that I almost wanna pay AMD a little more out of pocket just because its so fair. :)
Cons: Absolutely none at all.
A Cons option should not even be listed for this CPU.
Overall Review: This is my 2nd AMD build (i have been building my own machines every few years for the past 13 years). I am now convinced that I will always buy AMD because (a) they are enough power to play the latest games, and (b) the price is always more than fair.
This CPU (3.57ghz OC) along with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, an ASRock 870 Extreme3, 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 (G.Skill Ripjaws), 1 (Diamond) ATI 3870HD 512MB (old i know), and 2 7200RPM SATAII HDD's does everything I wanted it to do, and then some. It plays Mafia II, Amnesia, World of Tanks, and Urban Terror all on the highest settings with great framerates and absolutely no lag/hanging. Converting movies from xvid to DVD via ConvertXtoDVD takes no time at all (I average a little over 300fps on xvid's with sizes of 700mb to 1400mb).
On a typical day I have about 4 programs open in my system tray, a movie converting, a 1080p HD .mkv movie being watched, and an Internet Browser open and ready to blaze the interwebs. :
Pros: Powers everything I have (AMD Phenom II 965BE, ASRock 870 Extreme3 Motherboard, G. Skill Ripjaws 4GB (2x2GB sticks) DDR3 RAM, 1 (Diamond) ATI 3870HD (old i know), 1 Case fan, 1 LG DVD Burner, and 2 SATA II HDD's) without a single problem.
Blue LED 135mm fan looks cool and keeps me machine cool with only 1 other case fan.
Price is fantastic ($40 when i purchased it).
Cons: Not as silent as some might claim but nowhere near loud either.
Overall Review: My machine is on 24/7 and so far (2 weeks straight of being constantly on) everything is working fine.
If your specs are anywhere close to what i posted above and are thinking of getting high end graphics card(s) (like a 5970 or equivalent) and intend on having your machine on 24/7 get a 650w or higher if u expect good results out of your computer, if you do not intend on having high end graphics card(s), then I HIGHLY recommend this super deal of a PSU.
Pros: Excellent Price. I bought them at $19.99 + Free Shipping.
Very Reliable Burning. Opened it up burned 3 discs in a row at 8x and the end result was nothing short of perfection.
Playback of DVD duplication on these discs have worked in every DVD player i have put them in.
Overall Review: These discs are top tier and have a Media ID of MCC03RG20 which is 1st Class Media. I highly recommend Verbatim over anything else.
TDK (although sometimes are 2nd Class Media if Media ID starts with RITEK and not TDK) are my 2nd choice.
Pros: Fair Price+100% Write Rate+Cool New Look=Excellent Product.
Overall Review: The TDK's used to be dark grey on the top but now have a cool blue top. show up in IMGBURN as RITEKF1. RITEKF1 is considered 2nd class blank media (compared to lets say a Verbatim with a code of MCC...) but is still very good product even though Verbatim is better for the long haul as far as archival discs go.
Pros: BIG. 1080P FULL HD.
I recommend this monitor for anyone for any need. I easily hooked this bad boy up to an ATI 2600 HD video card on Windows 7 RC1 and its great. I've watched 2 BD's and the picture is perfect. I've played F.E.A.R. and Prototype and the colors are great. Little or no backlight bleed. NO DEAD PIXELS ON MINE :)
Overall Review: Some people have posted about dead pixels or other things, well, thats just their luck. Besides if such a thing occurs, it's not too big of a deal to RMA it and wait for a good one (i'm aware it's a minimum of 8 dead pixels to RMA). Most Likely u won't have any problem. Some have also posted about buttons being small/annoying/difficult, they are not. In fact there is no need to ever even use them (for me anyway), the splendid button is nice if u want to change the "color". I recommend this monitor to anyone no matter what their visual needs are. Now that i have this, anything smaller than 24" is just junk ;)
Pros: OCZ= Reliable & Fast. I Put this memory in my machine (MOBO: GA-MA69GM-S2H - CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0ghz - GPU: ATI 2600 HD) replacing 2gb of adata and the speed difference is more than noticeable. This RAM took my Windows 7 RC1 WEI Memory Score from 5.8 to 7.1. Excellent buy for anyone needing some DDR2 800 for their "Old" machine.
Overall Review: I Have OCZ on both of my machines (REAPER 1066 in one and REAPER 800 in the other). OCZ cannot be beat, its fast (it really is) and does what RAM is supposed to. I recommend this to anyone in need of memory. period.
Pros: pushes a ton of air. dropped my system temps 5 to 8 degress cooler :)
Cons: very loud. but not really a problem to me
