Pros: This is the second one of these that I have ordered. The first one has been running with no issues for over two years. I like the reliability so I purchased a second one for my sisters laptop. It is also working great so far.
Overall Review: The price point on these are what caused my to give them a try. They seem to be fine. I cannot say what the read write speeds are as I have not gauged them. Low price and sata II speed with reliability made me repeat.
Pros: Turns on and works as it should. Single 12v rail for best possible amperage. I usually look at Rosewill first for power supplies.
Cons: The fan is loud for a rosewill psu. I am surprised. It doesn't seem defective. It just seems loud.
Overall Review: Quiet
Pros: I use this all of the time. Plug and play on a variety of drives. Good for data transfer from a bare drive.
Overall Review: This is my second one of this type of cable. This one has more capability than my old one. I broke my old one by unplugging it incorrectly.
Pros: Went in as a replacement drive for a box store computer. The Larger Cache (128 vs 16) is giving this a faster feel than the old one. Everything loads a little better.
Overall Review: The person that I put this in for says the computer is a racer now.. I thought that the larger Cache would be appreciated and was correct. Seagate makes a good product.
Pros: Inexpensive, Low power draw, and crushes it on the older games such as WOW or GTA5. Went right in and works well.
Cons: no cons for this price.
Overall Review: This is a very good value for the performance. I have no issue with this at all.
Pros: Bolted in for a box store case with no troubles. Fired up as expected and does the trick.
Overall Review: I added a video card to a store bought PC. The psu was not really doing the trick for the added draw. I put this in and all is working better and faster. it is only 50 watts more but double the amperage. The amperage advantage of the single 12v rail is always a plus. The mild energy efficiency rating is better than the psu that this replaced so I expect no loss at the electric meter on the house.
Pros: 2.5 form factor SSD with the latest memory control. Price is good. 525 gig size is good.
Overall Review: SSD drives are so fast. The problem with them is that there is no warning period for failing. Usually the way around is to have a backup of the more reliable mechanical drive (or the cloud these days). The controller for the drives is improving. The longevity is increasing. They are now more reliable than ever. Crucial is a good name for memory. I went with it for this drive.
Pros: Fast as this style ssd gets. Price keeps getting better. The warranty is awesome. I had no trouble at all with the installation or loading. Everything went snappy fast.
Overall Review: Samsung's reputation holds up on these pro ssd drives. I bought this one because of that.
Pros: Very reasonable price. Fast as a 4.2 GHz processor should be. Great for fast work in light duty applications.
Overall Review: This processor is great for secretary work. Small businesses could enjoy the frugal price / performance of this thing. It is also great for home computers that do office work and social media as the main function.
Pros: Inexpensive as they get. Came with hardware (BONUS)! Does the trick for a professional mounting look.
Cons: If there were a con it would be shipping time. But coming from Asia to the east coast of United States was not as bad as I thought. No deductions from me.
Overall Review: Order in anticipation of a month's wait and all will go according to plan. Price with hardware and looks made the score here.
Pros: The price is very competitive. Went in and started working with no trouble. The performance is acceptable. The shear amount of this is helpful.
Overall Review: I put this in an old AM3 setup with a 945 and a small ssd. Everything seems happy and snappy. AM3 is 1066 based so there is no fake about this. It works. I did a one tick over stock voltage in the overclock (sometime necessary when maxing out the capability of the motherboard) . It lives happily there.
Pros: The price was right. The performance was as expected. The warranty is good. This works well in a service / login computer at the local volunteer fire department. I wouldn't be afraid to say that it would do perfectly fine in a light home or office use pc. Plenty of room if used as a storage drive in most applications as well.
Overall Review: Loaded right up with no trouble and works well right out of the box. It is not the first of these that I have installed. They have all held up so far.
Pros: Unbelievably Fast!
Overall Review: These were not intended to be boot drives. There is an entirely different procedure involved with setting them up and loading them up to be the boot drive. If you do it all correctly you will have incredible speed for a reward. Some research was involved in order to do this. It is like the speed that you had on your very first ssd install all over again. Jaw dropping and awe.
Pros: Cools the processor. The processor runs at 27c now.
Cons: The overall height is too tall for a case that is 7 inches wide.
Overall Review: 149mm is 5 7/8 tall. be aware of that. The cooler works very well for keeping the cpu temp down on a 95 watt cpu. The mounting for socket 775 is weird. I did not care for it but it does do the job.
Pros: Runs quiet. Very good cooling performance. Is not overly tall.
Cons: Was never a fan of the push in plastic clips but they do work if you are careful.
Overall Review: This fits well inside of the case that I used it in. I had tried other brands and didn't like them as they would be so tall that they touch the side of the case. This is not a problem with this one. The stock cooler was having difficulty keeping up with the processor with an intermediate overclock. This brought it back to safe operating temperature. Well worth the money
Pros: Very quiet. It seems to have decent airflow. 4 pin socket for automated fan speed control with the PWM.
Overall Review: Fits the slightly larger bolt pattern on the back of cases that come with 80mm fan. A good upgrade.
Pros: Low wattage / low draw for a basic system. Fired right up and works fine. Very quiet.
Overall Review: The cables are uncovered but not a worry. There are no windows on the case that I used it in. I built an old ddr2 rig with a low end core 2 duo and on board graphics. This power supply did the trick with power to spare. The single 12v rail is a plus for the amperage advantage. Would be awesome as a replacement in a box store or branded computer as well.
Pros: Bought the rose gold tone for my wife. She is very Happy with it. The phone is working perfectly. She can now enjoy the options that work with the iPhones that others have. The kids are jealous of the latest and greatest. It is smooth and fast with everything that it does.
Overall Review: Newegg shipping and price is awesome.
Pros: It works as a graphics card to unload the processor on a older rig.
Cons: I didn't get what the picture looks like. The fan sounds loud on the one that I did get.
Overall Review: I will be returning the card that I did get. I don't like the noisy fan. I think it is bad. Such a small fan should not be so loud.
Pros: Very quiet. The led lights are not overly bright. The 4 pin pwm is good. Newegg shipping is awesome!
Cons: This could be a con for some people. The led lights are in the middle of the fan. The ring will glow as a result of reflection from the fan blades. I can barely see that the led lights are on in the day. In the dark they are noticeable.
Overall Review: I was working in cramped quarters and ended up knocking the ring out. It just clipped back in place. The tabs are small so it took a little bit of looking to see them so that I could clip it back in correctly. The red glow that these produce is subtle.
Pros: It works as advertised without any troubles.
Overall Review: I like the fact that it has the micro sd slot the most because I can upload phone pics from my chip easily without an external adapter. There are two lights. One for power (green and always on) One card recognition (red and on when card is inserted). The green light is not bright or bothersome.
Pros: It went right in and runs well. It matched my zotac video card of same colors and the black motherboard.
Overall Review: I put this in a motherboard that called for 2133. It works anyway but posts a little under the speed. The timings tightened up though. I figure I gained something after all.
Pros: The single 12v rail gives the usual amperage advantage. Went into a micro atx mid tower with no issues. Works as it should.
Overall Review: This is pushing a core i5 6600 3.3, 2 x 8 gig DDR4, SSD drive, 1050 Ti 4gig card, Micro ATX motherboard. It likes it.
Pros: It is shorter than a lot of the cards out there. It went into a micro atx mid tower with no issue. It performs well.
Cons: Not SLI capable but a non issue for me.
Overall Review: I am not the gamer. I had a nephew try it out for me. WOW with everything turned up as high as it can go ran smooth and at mid eighties to low nineties on FPS. Good enough for the price.
