Decent cae for the money

AMS CF-1089BK Black Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case
AMS CF-1089BK Black Steel / Plastic Micro ATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Pros: not a bad case for the money, it looks nice and the construction and material are on par with it's price range.. you can do alot worst. - decent room internally to work with. - room to add more fans.

Cons: - only one fan - internally its not as well constructed as the exterior. - LED are BRIGHT. I have to put black tape over it :P

Overall Review: - wish it comes with a PSU but then the price would go up and you probably get a poor PSU anyway.. so you might be better off getting a separate one on your own.. I got 3 of these case and they worked fine. good cae for the money

Failure within 4 months

Cooler Master eXtreme Power RP-600-PCAR 600 W ATX from factor 12V V2.01 Power Supply
Cooler Master eXtreme Power RP-600-PCAR 600 W ATX from factor 12V V2.01 Power Supply

Pros: - LOOKS decent. - all black.

Cons: - Fan died out within 4 month after install the PSU - PSU runs pretty hot compared to my other two machines that have a Earthwatt 620w psu and a BFG 620w PSU.

Overall Review: I wouldn't trust this on a high end rig. Good thing I only paid about $35 or $40 for this after rebates. cost me 10 bux to get a replacement fan off a local computer shop. It runs abnormally hot compared to my other two machines which have similiar specs and load but different brand PSU.

Cheaply Made, HIGH failure rate

SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-128G-G25 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-128G-G25 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: - fast

Cons: - seems to be cheaply made in terms of material (cheap felling plastic as oppose to hard plastic or metal of other SSD that I've used). I've been using and installing SSD since the first Vertex OCZ came out this is the cheapest feeling drive I've tried - HIGH failure rate.. Out of two that I bought. one died in a week and another died shortly after a month after my newegg return window.

Overall Review: I bought two at the same time one die within a week. I have them running in a mini PC along with another SSD (OCZ Vertex3) both drive is in a siminliar setup.. within a week one died and shortly after a month the other one died. there weren't even stressed much. they were just boot drive and most of the data is read/written to the secondary SSD on the machine This have left a very bad impression on the brand. I'm not buying anymore of their products

Died on first day and out of return period :(

HIS HDPSDVIEYE DisplayPort to Single Link-DVI Eyefinity Adapter
HIS HDPSDVIEYE DisplayPort to Single Link-DVI Eyefinity Adapter

Pros: it was the cheapest adapter on newegg

Cons: I bought this a month ago and didn't get a chance to have my other component for the system until last night. I put my computer together. and it worked for an hour like it should, I did a reset to my system and the thing never worked right again. It's not my error as I have another similiar system with same video card just different brand of eyefinity adapter. this one is now faulty where one monitor attached to it is not detecting the entire resolution and it runs at 30hz instead of 60hz.

Overall Review: Unfortunately this is 3 days past the newegg return date. I have to now deal with the manufacturer. I hope they are responsive and not going to drag this for two to three weeks...

went bad after 10 months but problems started after 5

POWERCOLOR Active DisplayPort to Single-Link DVI-D Adapter DP-SL DVI-D ADAPTER
POWERCOLOR Active DisplayPort to Single-Link DVI-D Adapter DP-SL DVI-D ADAPTER

Pros: It works like it should when it works.

Cons: after 5 months of use I notice my monitor attached to the adapterd started to have a flicker occasionally and then once in a while the monitor would blank out for a few seconds. just today it wouldn't see my montior and refresh rate properly. now the monitor is at 1024x600 and 30hz refresh. I can't get it to run in it's native 1920x1200 60hz anymore. it's useless now. unless I want netbook resolution on a darn 24" monitor

Overall Review: I emailed "Hugo" to see what he can do. will update. it's a darn adapter it should work longer than a year. it's not like I abuse it or wiggle it, or have moving parts...

my RMA with DLink on this is a NIGHTMARE

D-Link DNS-321 Diskless System 2-Bay Network Storage Enclosure
D-Link DNS-321 Diskless System 2-Bay Network Storage Enclosure

Pros: it's black

Cons: - unit burns out in under a year - tech support and rma process is a nightmare. their tel option does not work, people don't speak english or don't know what to do, you get fowarded to more people that don't know whats going on and then they just give you another number to call. - when u get a case number you're suppose to register for the rma online.. well guess what the website don't work properly and I have to call and spend another 2 hours.. - you pay full shipping for rma pricess.

Overall Review: if your unit goes wrong and you try to get an RMA return. you're sheet out of luck. It took me 5 hours total over the week to finally get an rma. now I gotta pack the stuff and send it out. hopefully this will be the end of this hated process. based on this experience I will never buy a Dlink product ever again.
