Pros: Heatsinks are minimal, basically just thin metal stickers.
Pros: Decent range, good battery life, wireless, visually attractive, good touchpad.
Cons: Small right shift key makes typing a little off.
Overall Review: I generally love the keyboard, I use it to control my media center that I have in the next room. It works just great for me.
Has 2 4+4 cpu connectors and 2x 6+2 pci-e connectors
Pros: Cheap, good performance
Better performance than any other fm2+ cpu as of 01/30/2016
Cons: Sadly no integrated gpu but that's the trade off for being so inexpensive.
Pros: Small, yet powerful.
It's pretty small, fit my M-itx build perfectly.
Pros: 6 sata ports, pci-e slot and lots of usb ports. Multiple HDMI and very cool little board that gives enough space for RAM and a decent cooler.
Cons: The audio port is placed so that you cannot use a GPU and the case jacks at the same time.
The hell were they thinking?! -1 egg.
space for 2 2.5" drives and 2 3.5" drives
Had enough room for cables and a decent cpu cooler.
Cons: the reset button is a little oddly placed so that it's difficult to press, but that is kind of a pro too since you won't accidentally press it.
Pros: None, DOA
Cons: Both sticks were bad. Returned and bought crucial. These were on sale at the time so I thought I'd try them out. Regretted it.
Pros: Very fast, 8 cores. Overclockable
Cons: Lots of heat, which is to be expected.
Overall Review: I have mine running at stock speeds as I haven encountered any task I would need to OC it for.
Pros: Easy Sata access on the side, Enough fan pins. Supports lots of RAM and generally runs well.
Cons: All the fan pins are above the CPU and difficult to reach.
Overall Review: First board I got was DOA and it took about two weeks to get the replacement boards where as it took 2 days for me to get the original. This was certainly irritating.
Pros: Decent performance, plays most new games at medium-high. Gets a bit hot. Around 60-70C while playing said games however and is a bit noisy. Otherwise good card.
Cons: First card died after 10 minutes, replacement is working fine so far though.
Pros: It comes with three fans.
The top is removable
Cons: It lists that it supports up to 5 fans, not true it only supports 4.
The top isn't ventilated, more likely to heat up inside.
The way hard drives are installed wastes space and causes the drives to extend about 2-3 inches over the motherboard area. This is obsurd and makes no sense.
Pros: it runs games very well I can play all the new games at high-ultra.
Runs pretty cool.
Came with watch dogs and a $30 rebate
Cons: Very long, much longer than normal I would say. It even covered up my sata ports and I had to switch out two of them for 90 degree angled cables. Overall it's ok, just letting you know it's a very long video card because the fan in on the end rather than on top.
Cons: Write and read speed of 13mbps on a usb 3.0 port. This is not a 3.0 drive it is a 2.0.
Ordered two of them and one has a bad sector already. Failure rate of 50% at day one.
Cheap drives unreliable and slow.
Pros: Expandable, it supports two msata drives and a regular sized drive The bios also support raid setup. The keyboard lights up blue, and you can light up only half if you want. The fan has a manual button for high speed-VERY useful.
Cons: trackpad is a bit frustrating and takes getting used to. I found I could not play the simplest game with the default ELAN drivers, they are terrible I unistalled em and use the default mouse drivers for the laptop.
Battery life- obviously terrible
Overall Review: Overall I love it, it's like a heater while gaming but still plays great and for the price of $880 where could you get a better laptop, alienware with lesser features is $1700. This is a great deal.
Pros: The are cheap, I got them on sale for $50+useless microdrive. The microdrive was more of a curiosity than actually being useful.
Cons: Not reliable
Only a 3 month warranty.
Overall Review: So far it has been about 10 months. One of the drives failed, luckily I had then each as a copy of the other because I knew they would be unreliable. I don't know how long the second drive will last so I of course ordered a new drive immediately. Basically I got 10 months out of one and I'll update for the second. I would only recommend this drive if you don't need a reliable storage medium for a short period of time. I lost nothing since I had two backing each other up but If I didn't have a second backup I would be Angry. Still pretty unreliable drives if one failed that quickly. I have never had a hard drive fail on me before. EVER and I still use IDE drives from 1995 sometimes that run great.
Pros: Dual graphics, amd apu that you can OC and undervolt. Runs cool and decent battery life.
Cons: Windows 8, bios are not standard there is a seperate button just to get into the bios.
Overall Review: DUAL GRAPHICS what more is there to say quad core 1.9 that can easily be overclocked with K10stat and dual graphics running that can easily outperform my $980 dell.... I regret not just buying two of these laptops. I'll spell it out for you t has a keypad usb 3.0 and I'll say it again DUAL GRAPHICS. Even at stock speeds this thing can play ANY modern game on medium-high settings just fine and If I overclock it since it's an AMD APU I can do that then it would likely play almost anything on high. Love the laptop sadly I got it for my fiance and myself the dell.
Pros: Has a decent number of sata ports
decent number of pci slots
fan connectors were in the right places for me
usb 3.0 and 2.0 headers
Cons: bios update was necessary
ram support stops at 1333
no hdmi port
Overall Review: I got it and it would not post, i took out my video card still no post. I took out all but one RAM stick and it finally posted! After about half an hour later I figured out that the bios were causing it. I downloaded the latest bios off foxconn and flashed it, problem solved video card and RAM installed posted just fine and is now running perfectly. Ran a couple stress tests on it and it's running just fine now, but still to ship it out with known issues like that!? What if I didn't flash it properly or wasn't able to troubleshoot it like that? Very bad business decision -1 egg.
The hdmi for me isn't important my video card has one currently using it as a gaming/storage/file server/videoplay and it's working great. Hope this motherboard lasts longer than my last foxconn, since this one is all capped it probably will. I'll repost if it ends up going bad. Also the RAM support will limit your speeds to 1333 instead of whatever higher speed the ram is made for, mine is 1600 it's running at 1333 instead.
