Pros: Due to these not working, we cannot report any "pros" for them.
Cons: These did not work in 2 Precision T3630 machines we tried them in.
Overall Review: I would not recommend these memory sets as they did not work for us.
Pros: This monitor has good connectivity and is super inexpensive for this class of monitor. The controls are easy to use. And, it comes with an HDMI cable making the first setup even easier, unless you need a different cable, and being a computer monitor that's going in the cons...
Cons: The contrast on this 4K monitor is really bad. Washes out so much of the picture compared to other monitors that are only a little more expensive. The controls are on the back, so if you use more than one side by side, you won't be able to reach the controls on one of them. I use 3 side by side so I can't reach the controls on 2 of them. The USB plugs are hard to reach if you use it as a USB hub. And does not come with a DP cable, only HDMI, so not computer ready out of the box. And the mosnitor does not raise and lower, making ergo setup impossible.
Overall Review: If you want super cheap 4k, this might do. But I can't recommend it as a good computer workstation monitor.
Pros: These drives are priced very competitively. Seem to be very popular too. I've used dozens of them with no failures so far.
Cons: In a RAID 1 or 0 setup, these are extremely slow for SSD drives. Not sure why the slowness, but they benchmark at under 1/2 the speed of other SSD drivers in RAID. We normally use RAID 1 for data redundancy in case of drive failures in the field.
Overall Review: I would recommend for low cost single drives, but didn't work well for me in RAID setup.
Pros: This is a nice 15.6" laptop bag with good materials, a solid strap, good padding inside (but not great).
Cons: This bag is on the small side. This might be good for some, but the 15.6" laptops I put in them just barely fit.
Overall Review: A good bag for those looking for something on the cheap side.
Pros: A simple business laptop with all the right internal hardware, and a good price.
Cons: Really bad screen with terrible contrast. Hard to see even in good light for some things. Pathetic keyboard that leads to lots of errors in typing. The case is super thin plastic that bends far too easily. Plus it uses the newer tiny Dell power plug rather than the old tried and true thick power plug that doesn't break. The performance doesn't quite seem to match the hardware specs either.
Overall Review: This has to be the worst laptop I've seen Dell build in a long time. I usually get Latitude 5500s, but was not finding them as easily as before. So I went ahead with these models for a few workers. From my list of cons, you can see that I wonder what Dell was thinking on this machine. Don't bother with it, hold out for a much better 5500 series Latitude if you are in the market for a Dell business laptop.
Pros: Cheaper than OEM, so figured I'd give it a shot.
Cons: Materials seem very cheap, 1/2 the weight of Apple OEM similar adapter. Could not get an HDMI signal from an iPhone for photos or video. Tried multiple cables and TVs, nothing worked.
Overall Review: Get the OEM part, you'll be happier.
Pros: Very well made adapater card, all the right parts, including cooling strips for under the SSD card which was nice, and a short mount for smaller boxes. Added SATA port ability is nice, but not sure I'll ever need it.
Cons: Super tiny tiny screws for the mounts. I can't wait until the M.2 makers figure out a better mounting method. These tiny screws really stink. Yeah, that's enough to eat one star.
Overall Review: There are tons of these around, but this one is the go-to.
Pros: Decent gaming @ 4K
Newest hardware available
Priced well for high end gaming
Cons: Do not believe all the reviews on noise level. This guy does get loud. Much louder than the old 970 I replaced with this.
Won't do 60 FPS @ 4K, but easily does 40 FPS, which is fine for me. That's on ultra settings on a AAA game. Lots of other games get 60 FPS plus room to spare. Or just turn down settings a tad and 60 FPS is easy.
Overall Review: Good card, but yet to see games that push the limits of the RTX archetecture. Hopefully soon. I still need an HDR display though....
Pros: There are no pluses to this battery that I can tell due to it being the wrong battery described.
Cons: This battery was described as being a replacement battery for the CyberPower CP350SLG It is NOT a replacement for this UPS, as the battery is twice the physical size of the battery that came out of the UPS.
Overall Review: Will need to return. Wow, the shipping costs!
Pros: Very light but highly responsive key touch on the keyboard makes this keyboard a dream to work on for a full day of work. They key layout is perfect, and all the keys are well labelled and in their right places. If you have good lighting, or even medium lighting, you'll never need a new battery. They keyboard will wear out before the rechargable battery does. The software auto loads on Windows, so no need to install anything. And the solar app also notifies to be installed shortly after plugging this guy in, which is really helpful to get the right amount of light to ensure it stays charged. The mouse is perfect, even loved by our Mac users. Just right on size and shape, no overkill. Battery lasts over 1 year on the mouse.
Cons: Doesn't work well in low light offices, but that's to be expected. Can't replace the rechargable battery if that ever goes bad, but I've only seen that once in the dozens of these I've used in my office. I tried one at home on my gaming computer, but the keyboard had too much lag to make it work well there. Oh well. Hard to find the right combo on NewEgg, because they sell this keyboard in many configurations, other languages, Mac style, different layout. Pay close attention when ordering one of these.
Overall Review: This is the #1 keybaord and mouse combo enjoyed by our company's office staff. Like any keyboard and mouse, they do wear out over time, but last longer than I expected. We have one worker who prefers their office lights to be off, so the keyboard didn't work well in that situation. Over the 10 years I've been here, we've probably purchased about 70 of these, and only a couple have had issues after a bit of use. Not bad at all.
Pros: HP lasers are getting more quiet, noticed that right away. Also they fixed the paper exit tray on this one by integrating the extended holder, where it would break off so easily in earlier models of small HP laser printers. Quick and easy setup, no driver needed in Windows 10 (though it would probably help.)
Cons: White. Nice to have white as an option, but I've plenty of users that prefer black.
Overall Review: Seems to be a good solid HP Laser printer. I'd only recommend for low to occasional use, < 100 sheets per day.
Pros: Great sound, compact and easy yet slightly larger than Apple converter so easier to keep track of, but only slightly, and it doesn't give the "non supported device" like so many other adapters like this do. Works perfectly.
Cons: Doesn't appear to support phone calls, but haven't fully tested yet.
Overall Review: Big raspberries to Apple for removing a much needed and used port by business people. Not everyone needs it, but professionals do and people on the move who don't have time to charge yet another device do.
Pros: Fast, and easy
Works well and produces very good results
Backed by Adobe
Cons: It is somewhat less that some free software
Overall Review: I use this mostly for Video, but some on the photoshop side too. For the Video, you can't beat this at the price it's at. It's super simple to use, even in "expert" mode. The results are extremely good. I use it mainly for editing training videos and business stuff. I don't need a LOT of features, I just need it to work and work well. This does.
Pros: Cheap for what they are
Cons: I've got a few machines with these running in RAID. I'm constantly replacing these drives. They don't seem to last very long at all.
Overall Review: I hope I can find a better drive than these for future use.
Pros: The power switch is uncommon, and one of the main reasons I purchased this. And the power light helps too. I'm not worried about leaving it on now. Power cord is a good length. Heats up quickly and does a good job with the glue.
Cons: When they say "Mini" they mean it. The handle is extremely small making the glue gun hard to hold and use. The kick stand barely is enough to do it's job and gets in the way of the glue trigger when folded back.
Overall Review: What should be a very nice glue gun is unfortunately hindered by some bad design choices.
Pros: Smaller than normal making it easy to work with on setup.
Plenty fast, and good components
Cons: Special parts needed for drive
Odd setup with laptop style optical drive
Not enough ports for best flexibility
Overall Review: Dell used to be bashed for being too proprietary, they stopped doing that quite a few years ago, and have made machines that match industry parts pretty closely making working on them easy. But, this machine is Dell going back to almost completely proprietary parts. While it makes for a smaller machine, it makes working on them a pain. You need special parts just to install a hard drive, and the funky laptop style optical drive is pretty useless. I'd prefer to get this machine without an optical drive, which I'm finding is impossible.
I've been a strong Dell supporter for a long time, but this machine has me re-thinking my favorite computer list...
Pros: It's a Fluke. Low price. Seems rugged.
Cons: No case. Batteries shipped in device. SLOW testing, one pair at a time. Parse instructions. I haven't got it to work with my toner receiver yet, not sure why. Highly frustrating packaging (hard to open)
Overall Review: I'll probably keep this, but wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting top quality Fluke equipment.
Pros: These fan mounts are far easier to use than the shorter versions. They stretch easier for faster inserting into the case and fan.
Cons: I find no issues with these
Overall Review: If you are a system builder, or repair systems often, get these. Many OEM use rubber mounts too, it just makes a system nicer to have near you when you work on them. Fans are the biggest noise makers in machines, and these make them more quiet.
Pros: These do wonders for quieting down a system. Even if you don't sense any vibration, the fans will be slightly less noisy overall. Very easy to install
Cons: May need to be trimmed depending on room in case. Can be broken if pulled too hard.
Overall Review: I prefer these to the shorter versions of dampeners. These are much easier to install. They are a bit more flimsy than I would like, but once they are installed, who cares. They work great. I built a lot of machines over the years for work and for personal. I wish I'd started using these a long time ago.
Pros: Adobe has finally made it's product as good if not better than the cheaper alternatives. Much more solid program that doesn't have the errors and problems of the cheaper alternatives.
Cons: New interface that requires a bit of learning. For those new to Acrobat DC it is very easy and intuitive
Overall Review: I don't get the one review here where "you can create a PDF" from Acrobat. You can always print to the PDF printer driver from any program, works just fine and yes, it does create a PDF for you.
Pros: Nice price for "Enterprise" level SSD
Cons: Amazingly slow for what it's supposed to be.
Seems to be no longer made.
Overall Review: I decided to try an "Enterprise" level SSD for a project I was working on. These guys were cheap, so I purchased with low expectations. Unfortunately those expectations were met. I've found them to be slow across all tests I've done by at least 30% to consumer level SSD, and 50% to higher end Enterprise SSD drives. Oh well...
Pros: Small and easy to use.
Cons: Wish the header was longer to get a more secure plug into the motherboard.
Overall Review: I hot glue these to the plugs inside machines to hide a USB Key for software licensing. (Yeah, those still exist today, sad huh...) Keeps it farther away from people who don't know what it is, so they don't unplug it thinking it's not useful then their software stops working. :)
Pros: Nice "UV Blue" color. (not UV reactive)
Perfect length for certain projects
Short plug so it works in tight spaces
Cons: Exactly 10" from end to end
Can't get the Aerosmith song out of my head now....
Overall Review: Many cables length is based on the cable without the plug, this one includes the plug in the length, so it may be shorter than you expect so be careful.
Pros: Cheap price
Mostly well made
AAA standard batteries
Cons: That red ring. Didn't think it would be that bad, it is.
The modes are annoying. Would prefer just on/off.
Really not THAT bright.
Overall Review: Don't let the other reviews fool you. This flashlight is really not that bright. As good as any cheap flashlight, but really not that great. Plus that red ring is extremely annoying. It lights up with the light and, well, yuck. Plus it has 4 brightness modes, and 2 flashing modes. Only choosable from a single button, which also turns it on and off. Would prefer the modes to be on separate button or not there at all. The magnetic base is pretty nice, and it does work and feels great in the hands when using.
Pros: Short height for smaller cases
Cons: Terrible cooling, constantly above 50C at all times.
Overall Review: I was really shocked to see how badly this cooler worked. I've owned Cooler Master in the past and been please. And replaced this with another Cooler Master that is working excellently. This one really was bad.
